From the first phone call to Rich Bernard at Sigma to the final installation, everything went extremely smoothly. The job was started almost immediately and the results were exactly as we had requested. Rich recommended the size units and the placement to get the best air flow cooling possible. The units are smaller and less noticeable than we had envisioned, and they were placed so that the outside portion of the units are less noticeable as well. Our house is very old and we had initially planned on installing a central air conditioning system until we realized how difficult and costly it would be. The small Mitsubishi units are an excellent alternative and can be used as heating pumps during the winter as well. The installation was only a 2 day process and very clean. We are very pleased with Sigma and these units.

Rich Bernard arrived as scheduled for the appraisal of my project. He was easily accessible and provided the appraisal quickly. The installation crew came on time and did an excellent job of installing the new duct work. John & Tracy were masters. They worked quietly, were very friendly and helpful. They cleaned up completely at the end of each day.. Greg, the electrician, completed the installation of the electronic controller for the electronic dampers quickly and expertly. I was very pleased with everyone. They were friendly, professional and completed the work efficiently. I definitely would use them again and would recommend them to friends and family for any HVAC needs. .

Seamlessly . All of the installers were competent neat and professional. We were concerned about cosmetics but the installation plan makes the outside wiring look like part of the house. The system is whisper quiet.

Very professional installation. Although delayed by schedule, very courteous. Technician was patient and persistent while trying to get our WiFi system to connect with the thermostat.

Everything was smooth and easy. They were able to come out to give me a quote within 2 days of calling, and once I accepted, were able to start work within a week (probably got such great timing because it's the end of the summer, but still!). Frankly, I was so impressed with everyone I dealt with, that I didn't even bother getting a second quote. So I can't tell if I got a good deal or not, but even if not, I'm willing to pay for such top notch service and attitude. (Plus all the great reviews on Angie's list helped!!) Rich came out to price the job, explained how the units worked, where they might go and made suggestions on what we needed. I had a written quote within 24 hours. When they came to install, they ran a little late because the parts weren't where they were supposed to be, but they called promptly to let me know they were running late and why, so I wasn't left wondering if I was being stood up. The guys were professional and courteous. They finished up exactly as promised (3 days later). I wasn't there while they worked...I just left them with a key. But when I return after 3 days, I found all the manuals laid out for me and the floors cleaner than when I had left. The next day Rich came back out on a Saturday to go over everything with me. He explained how it all worked and gave us tips on getting the most out of our new system. They had even done all the warranty paper work for us - nice touch!

It went really well. They were on time and did a thorough job. They were neat including wearing covers on their shoes when entering my home. Very professional and curtious.

Sigma called to confirm appointment. The service person was on time. He looked at all the air conditioning system components - cleaned, checked pressure, blew out drain etc. Very neat and clean and courteous.

Dave promptly responded to my inquiry came to the house within several days to give an estimate. Very personable and professional. Explained in detail the work involved. He said it would be 1 day and it was. The team showed up on time and was very considerate of my elderly mother and 6 lb barking dog. Cleaned up after the job was done and demonstrated how to use the new air conditioner. Since then I had a question and called Sigma and had an answer within an hour. Excellent service- great people.

Every time they came there was a new problem after they left. They came out five or six times and were not guaranteeing their work. Sometimes when they came out they would say they were not charging us for something, but then they would. It was like a nightmare so we ended up calling it off with them. They were pretty expensive; it seemed like every time we paid for something they would find something else wrong; so we just kept getting in deeper and deeper. They were condescending and not helpful.

They did a fine job. When they got the part in, they came and repaired the furnace. They inspected the other furnace and changed the filters. They were prompt, told me what was wrong and fixed it. They were very nice. I will be using them when it comes time to service the air conditioners.

Dave Tucker (owner) and his team have been tremendous. They showed up when they said they would, focused on how to make the process as least disruptive as possible and focused on a quality installation. We did have some issues with old parts of the system we were not replacing but Dave and his team took on those challenges and helped us find ways to remedy and in some cases warranty the changes. I would definitely recommend Sigma and their team.

They were wonderful. The person who came to inspect the heating system was knowledgeable. When we emailed to renew, they were accommodating. We did get two or three other quotes and they were the least expensive.

They did an inspection for no charge. The owner called me personally and was very responsive. I had an emergency where my heater wasn't working and I called the owner at home at night and he gave me some advice about what to do. He offered to send someone over right away but I was able to fix it. They give great customer service and helped me figure out what was wrong.

Bid was below highest and above lowest. Bid and possible options to the reduce costs were fully explained in person by knowlegable representative, who would be the onsite project manager. Crew with project manager arrived on schedule. Before entering home, the crew unrolled a work-cloth pathway on carpet to work areas, to prevent tracking in dirt. Crew and manager were polite and respectful of the fact they were in our home, not just a jobsite. Project manager fully explained how the system operated. Job completed on time. The workspace and carpet were carefully vacuumed, before their departure. Followed up with phone call from project manager to assure that all was satisfactory. It was.

When the company was initially contacted, all questions were answered completely and in a straightforward manner. A contract was drawn up and the work commenced as stated. The work was completed neatly and quickly, the installation was tested and all was very satisfactory - on budget and on schedule.

This was a big system to install. 3 zones total. 1 is a ductless Mitzubishi unit and the other two are Carrier high efficiency units. My house was was not built with ducts since we have forced hot water for heating. This system had to be retrofitted from the ground up. The job took approximately two weeks which was exaclty what was given for the estimate. Right from the beginning, Scott was professional, explained the project from beginning to end and followed the plan exactly. His crew, Andrew and John, were completely professional and careful around our house. At the end of each day's work you could never tell they were there. Response time and punctuality were perfect and their attention to detail was awesome. I cannot say enough about our experience with Sigma. Fantastic job guys!!! Thank you.

Excellent experience. Technician was very knowledgeable, thorough, neat, and courteous. Found wiring errors of original furnace installation contractor and corrected at no charge.

I was looking for proposals to replace the 25 year old furnace and central air conditioning system in my home. Although I did not select Sigma, I had a very positive experience with them and thought it would be helpful to others to pass along. Scott, the rep arrived at my home promptly at the time we had specified. He reviewed in detail the existing system while taking measurements and answering my questions courteously and completely. I appreciated that Scott took the time to explain the different equipment available for my situation including price points and combinations. I received the proposal shortly after our appointment. It was very detailed and outlined all aspects of the job. It also presently different options including available rebates. The equipment Sigma recommended was from a very reputable manufacturer. Although I did not use this company as another had the exact equipment (make/model) I wanted, I found their representatives especially Scott to be very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely consider Sigma in the future for work to be done at my home.

Duc t system was high end and installed to the ceiling of the attic which allowed us to utilize the space more efficiently for storage. They installed a high quality condensor/heat pump that is energy efficient and quiet. There were no don'ts.

It was terrific from beginning to end. Very professional and business-like. Also, their price was very competitive.

They were on time, very professional, returned for call back, went out of their way to make sure everything was done right.Also received several estimates for job. Theirs was very competitive.

The price seemed reasonable, they were courteous, came on time, were professional, cleaned up after themselves, there was no mess, and they did a good job. They put in the new dishwasher and disposed of the old one. I didn't compare prices, but I thought it was fair, and I was happy.

Their response was rapid, the service rep showed up on time and gave a very thorough examination of a large home. He gave a written opinion and did find a couple of issues that needed resolved. I would not hesitate to utilize them if a problem did arise after we are in the home.

Took longer than expected to receive our quote, after two follow-up calls, and price came in significantly higher than expected. Hired a different plumber, who correctly diagnosed (due to his local knowledge & age of house) that our water supply main was probably cast iron and mostly blocked after 70+ years in service. This proved correct, and we went with the more expensive (but clearly needed) move of replacing the blocked pipe with new 1" copper tubing. Installing a pressure booster would have been an expensive mistake. Sigma could very well have diagnosed this upon starting the work, I'm sure, but given the price they quoted for a tankless heater we went with a different provider.
