PERFECTION FENCE CORP

The original work was fine, but if you need repairs it is pulling teeth and I hope our deposit is not lost for lack of response. The follow up is lacking.

Initially a great response in getting quote together and following up on design but always felt I had to chase them for everything and an update. Fence arrived and had not been sprayed properly with white paint.....they had not applied enough coats of paint in painting process. Installers had to repaint the fence where needed on the job. Pricing a little higher then competition. Installers did a great job overall though and I was impressed with the crew. Given fencing contractor choices in the area I would still recommend perfection fence.

replaced old stockade fencing with new without incident. Took down old fencing and disposed of, put up new similar style in two days. Looks great. Neighbors behind us mentioned what an upgrade it was to the old fencing. Installed light posts and gave me contact information for electrician they use to hook up lights. Contacted him and he did a great job hooking up the lights to our light switch and installed a timer module that adjusts automatically through out the year for dusk and dawn times. Never a need to adjust it! Installed first sections of railing without incident on front of deck. Because of how it looked I contracted with them to replace the old wood sections of the first deck area with the same railing to complete the look. That was over a month ago. Still not completed properly. Crew that attempted initial install were finishing up when me wife observed that one section was not level, leaning. Foreman stated that it was level. Wife requested he put level on it, what a surprise it was not. He worked on it for two hours more and stated they would come back next day as he had to discuss problem with office. Followup conversation I had with my Salesman stated that they knew what the problem was and everything would be fine. Crew returned next day to begin again. My wife and I left house and advised we would be gone most of day and to have office contact me regarding payment after they finished if we were not back. Upon arrival we observed that the railings installed were now leaning worse then before, screws left scattered on the deck, railings themselves were scratched and marked, holes drilled without cover caps, a complete and utter mess, much worse then before. Contacted salesman again, was again assured that "they would make it right" and job would be done by the time we got back from a two week overseas trip. Returned from trip and discovered nothing had been done. Contacted salesman again and had supervisor come out to see what needed to be done to correct problems. I called salesman after 'Joe" left and asked for approximate return date for repairs. Was told he would discuss and call me back that day. No call received that day or two days after. I called him again and demanded to know when my railings were going to be fixed, wanted a specific day. Salesman called back and stated this coming Saturday the 15th, 6/15/2013. Stay clear of this company as their lack of responsiveness is alarming! Not once was I contacted as promised. That being said the product appears to be of good quality and they make it themselves but that's not enough to balance the complete lack of professionalism. As of date of this review project is still ongoing, to be completed 6/15/2013.

I contacted them through their website and received a prompt return phone call. The salesman came and arrived on time. After reviewing the Project he stated he would send an estimate in a week. About a week and 1/2 later I sent an email to the sales email listed on the web site stating I had not received the quote yet. I was at work and did not have the salesmanship direct email handy. No big deal. The salesman called back and had a bit of an attitude, like he got in trouble for not sending me the quote as he was supposed to. I recieved the quote the next day via email and responded to the sender about a question I had. I never heard back. Between that and the attitude, I never pushed it with them.. I called a competitor and they are installing next week, for less.

They are expensive, but they do the work very professionally. They are very good with their work.

After six weeks, they failed to supply an estimate. They also did not respond to an email asking for the estimate.

Everything went great.

They were very business like and the technology they used was impressive.

OVERALL, THE COMPANY HAS AN EXCELLENT WEBSITE AND PRODUCTS. MY SALESPERSON WAS PUSHY ABOUT SELLING ME VINYL, WHILE I HELD STEADFAST ABOUT WANTING WOOD. THEY CAME TO MEASURE, AND THE AREA WHERE THE FENCE WAS BEING PUT IN HAD SOME MINOR SLOPES. I EXPLAINED THE MAIN FUNCTION FOR THIS FENCE WAS TO KEEP MY DOGS IN, PROTECTED FROM THE STREET. THAT WAS MY #1 GOAL, AND I EXPLAINED THAT SEVERAL TIMES. MY SALESREP SAID HE UNDERSTOOD AND SAID, BECAUSE OF THE SLOPES THERE WOULD BE SOME SMALL GAPS IN WHICH I WOULD NEED TO LANDSCAPE..NO PROBLEM I SAID. THE GUYS SHOWED UP TO INSTALL (WHO WERE FANTASTIC BTW), AND IT BECAME APPARENT THAT THE SPACE BETWEEN BOTTOM OF FENCE AND GROUND WAS ABOUT A FOOT OR MORE!! MORE THAN ENOUGH SPACE FOR MY DOGS TO CRAWL UNDER. IN THE END, AFTER HAVING TO SEND PICTURES OF THE JOB TO THE PRESIDENT OF THE COMPANY, AND WITH THE HELP OF THE WOMAN IN BILLING, IT ALL GOT SORTED OUT, WITH NO HELP FROM THE ORIGINAL SALES PERSON MIND YOU- HE WAS ADAMANT AGAINST HELPING ME.
