Paul did a great job. The bad news was that we found old knob and tube wiring that prior electricians had missed. Because of this, the project became more extensive that originally antipitated but Paul had no problems working on the fly as the project got bigger. We have some other projects we're looking at doing that will require an electrician and Paul will be the first person I call.

They were very expensive. He gave me the wrong information. I don't feel that his responsiveness was acceptable.

Paul was excellent from the time he came by to look over the house to provide an estimate until the work was completed. We can't recommend Wired Electrical Contractors highly enough. He was very responsive and worked with us to schedule the work at a time that was convenient for us. Paul is extremely knowledgeable, but more importantly, he was committed to doing the job right and takes accountability for his work. We initially thought the electrical work we had done was a one day job, but after getting into all of our outlets and taking a look at the current wiring, Paul realized that this was a much bigger job. He could have easily replaced the outlets like we wanted quickly, spent a day on it and moved on to the next job and we would have never known any better. But instead, he made sure that it was done correctly and spent two full days to get it right, all while staying within the original quote. We look forward to having Paul and Wired Electrical Contractors back to replace some lighting fixtures soon!

If there was an A+ rating, Paul Crowley & Wired Electrical Contractors would have all A+'s for this job. We had an old, noisy, whole house fan that finally broke down. We knew we wanted a fan that would do the job, but wouldn't sound like a helicopter was landing on our house. We decided to give the QuietCool fan a try. Only problem--the QuietCool fan, which is gaining popularity in the western U.S., has few distributors here in the northeast. We contacted Wired Electrical as well as other electricians on Angie's List, and Paul was the most reasonably priced and also the most interested in researching the product himself. The job involved coming out three times: once to disconnect the old fan, once after Paul did his own research so he could scope out the job and recommend the best placement, and once to install. Everything went like clockwork, and the fan is everything we hoped--powerful enough to cool our bedrooms down on a summer's night, but so quiet you hardly know it's operating. The approximate cost for service reported in this review was only for installation (not including the cost of the fan). The fan is more expensive than your typical whole house fan, but if you're looking for high quality operation and precious quiet, you need to check this company's fans out. And, if your looking for great, reasonably priced electrical service, you definitely need to check Wired Electrical Contractors out.

Paul responded to my request immediately and was able to do the work the next day. The work done well and looks good.

The quality is outstanding, however it is a little pricey.

Wow is all I can say. We have had intermittent problems in one room that the power kept going out. I called Paul and left a message at about 4pm and he called me back the next day. We set up the appointment for the next Friday as I was off from work. He came on time and was extremely pleasant. What amazed me was that he wanted details of what the issue was at first and also what I had tried to fix. He wanted to understand the problem before just blindly going at it. He was extremely friendly and honest. It was a refreshing change. He took apart a light fixture in the room where the problem was and tested all the wires and saw that the problem was not at that point so he then went to a light fixture that did work to try to see where the issue stemmed from.Once he went to the second light fixture, he had me look at the problem to see the burnt wires and let me know that this was the cause. He explained that the wiring was such that the house could have burnt down and it wouldn't have tripped the breaker. He then explained I should look at the other old fixtures in the house that have not been replaced and replace them or have him replace them. He did not want a catastrophic problem. I also had him quote another job we wanted and will hire him to do that work. He was professional, personable and someone that I would trust in my home. He had all the tools and explained what he was doing so I would know. One other note. I have 3 cats and he made a point that everytime he went out to his truck, he would make sure they did not get out. Not only did he care about the job but he cared about my pets. I cannot put into words how much this means. I would recommend him to anyone, ANYONE, who needs electrical work. I WILL hire him again with complete confidence and you should too!

He took care not to create a mess and cleaned nicely. Paul also made suggestions for additional lighting that I am so glad I got. I thought his prices were a bit high but well worth the quality work.

I purchased the gen. and they hardwired it to the breaker panel the work was done professional without shortcuts. I also needed extra work not included in the estimate witch they did at no charge.

We'd been experiencing a myriad of electrical gremlins since we moved into our house last summer: our entry chandelier kept blowing bulbs, only one of our three driveway lights worked, an outside fixture seemed to have a short, etc. I'd gone as far as I could with DIY and needed professional help. We had to revise the schedule a few times (major rainstorm is not a good time for outdoor electrical work), but Paul showed up right on time on the agreed upon day. He explained what he was doing as he went, working steadily and carefully. He had to take down and re-wire our foyer light fixture and the dimmer switch that controlled it. He determined that our driveway post lights were beyond saving and was OK telling me that replacing them was a safe and reasonable homeowner job. Most valuably, he helped us figure out how we could bring modern lighting into an office room that has no ceiling light. He wasn't pushing light fixtures and expensive wiring, He was pointing us in the right direction regarding high wattage wall sconces that would be simple wiring jobs when we got to them. Through all the tasks, Paul was not only professional in his work, he was a very analytical problem solver. We're very pleased.

Paul did a great job. He is courteous, punctual and offers plenty of helpful advice and recommendations. His work is top shelf as well. I will continue to use Paul as we renovate our home.

Paul was installing an outlet and noticed that my circuit breakers were not by the code. He informed me and gave me an estimate. He installed a sub panel with 16 breakers and balanced the wireing. He checked all wires and outlets. Paul arrived on time, he is very professional, he communicates well and keeps the work area clean. .He gets the work done right. I trust Paul's word and work.

Paul was prompt, courteous, and took care of the problem quickly. He's growing his business and motivated to provide service that will make new customers repeat customers.

I was in the need to have a transfer switch installed to hook up my portable generator to, instead of running extension cords off of the generator. Paul came promptly to provide a quote, and explain exactly what needed to be done, and the options for installation. While Paul was at my house, I also had him quote additional work: installation of recessed cans in room that previously didn?t have any; installation of two motion detector floods on the garage, and replacement of overhead ceiling fan on 13? ceiling. Overall, I would say that the entire experience was very positive. Paul?s quotes were very competitive, and most importantly fair. The work done was exceptional, with no indication of workers ever having been in the house. Even when there was a surprise with replacing the ceiling fan (needing a new mount box) Paul worked to rectify the situation properly (and not jerry-rig it), again at a fair price. I would have no hesitation in highly recommending Paul as an experienced, master electrician and an overall good person.

Paul and Jason were quick to respond to my inquiry. They came over quickly to review the work, provided a thorough estimate, and were quick to schedule the work. The work was scheduled to start at 8am on friday, and they arrived at the agreed upon time. Paul and Jason were considerate to keeping electricity to where i needed it in the house during the day, and went room to room, re-wiring each outlet. They were extremely considerate and asked if they could put the furniture back for me. Jason and Paul were courteous, punctual and very thorough in their work. Would definitely recommend them again

Paul was great to work with and did a clean and professional job. I would recommend him to anyone with a small or large project.

Paul and his associate arrived on time and were incredibly neat and tidy while installing the recessed lighting in our kitchen. They were just as neat installing the recessed light over our bathtub and putting in our new exhaust fan in our bathroom. They worked quickly and finished before we expected! We love the lighting in our kitchen and bath!

Overall Paul and his assistant were punctual, professional, and polite. They also did a nice job of cleaning up after each job in different areas of the house. Paul was thorough in discussing the ins and outs of each task, so that we were on the same page with the expected outcome. Paul even checked my neighbor's electrical issue for her at no charge, which was very nice.

Paul and Justin arrived when they said they would. They were very pleasant and professional. They discovered the problem quickly, and fixed it quickly. They said if it happens again, I should call them back because it would mean there is a bigger problem. Paul said if that happens, he would apply today's charge to the next visit.

Overall, it was an excellent experience. Prompt, professional, calm but focused. They did not waste any time, but seemed thorough. The job was priced fairly, particularly given the short notice I gave them.

Paul responded quickly to my email from Angie's list and we managed to set-up a time within a week. In fact, he was available to come on a Saturday on very short notice. Paul and Jake showed-up within the 30 minute window they provided. They put down blankets, which kept the kitchen clean. After a very short time troubleshooting the issue, they discovered the problem and immediately made the repair. In all, they arrived, troubleshot the issue, made the repair and we issued payment within 30 minutes. Paul also gave some good advice on some other improvements we could make to generate improved lighting and make the overall recessed lights look nicer. While he said he could make the improvements himself, he suggested that it was quite easy to do and we can save some money if we did them ourselves. He told us the store to go to and exactly what to buy. In short, not only was the work done professionally with the proper care, Paul and Jake are obviously very honest people. We will be using them again, if needed.

I received several quotes for the job and Paul was not only the most reasonable (some were cheaper), but he seemed to be the most knowledgable. I had to wait on the ceiling fans to be delivered, but the work was scheduled as promptly as possible. They did everything in their control to make it go as quickly and smoothly as possible. I will be using him for all future electrical work!
