Description of Work: Called for a septic pump and the driver explained that he could not pump the tank because it had a "crack" that was leaking and needed to be fixed Quoted $2500. Called 2 other vendors for second/third opinion and they both said they get many calls claiming cracks/leaks detected by WIND RIVER ENVIRONMENTAL Had it pumped and inspected and there was no crack or leak. Also big up-sell on chemicals and accessories. Be Careful with this company.

Description of Work: Made an appointment over the phone and they showed up exactly on time a couple days later. The exposed the top of the tank and pumped it with no problems. Very easy transaction - will certainly use them again.

Description of Work: I've used this company for many years (they used to be Grant Septic), and they've always done a good job. They are honest and reputable. I believe they have pumped my tank in Southborough for the last 11 years and in Hopkinton for 5 years. They also did extensive work on my leaching field in Hopkinton, and it was good enough to pass Title 5 without any problems. The price was reasonable.

 + -1 moreWe noticed our leaching field was very wet and called Wind River to pump our septic tank. They pumped it and added some boost, but suspected more serious issues than a full tank and scheduled a follow up system check after 2 weeks. System check revealed still not functioning properly. Dug up Distribution Box and replaced and discovered one of the leach lines was not functioning. Repaired and replaced the line which had been crushed by boulders. Gave us a case of treatment to use in 6 months. Everything appears to be fine now.
Description of Work: Pumped the septic tank, 3 treatment boosts added, supplied 1 case treatment. Evaluated system. 6 septic scrubs, replaced D-Box, repaired/replaced broken leach line.

 + -1 moreTHEY DID NOT SHOW UP ON TIME, THEY WERE TWO HOURS LATE. WHEN I CALLED THE OFFICE, THERE WAS NO RESPONSE. OVER THE PHONE I WAS QUOTED $150 AND IT ENDED UP BEING $197. THEY ALSO REQUIRE PAYMENT UPON COMPLETION. I WOULD CONSIDER OTHER COMPANY IN THE FUTURE.
