Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

Responsive and showed up on short notice... But the repairs to the toilet worked for all of one week, and the shutoff valve was not fixed at all.

The service representative (Roy) was very punctual and extremely professional. He clearly explained the service steps and provided an cost estimate prior to performing any service. He completed the service very quickly and thoroughly. Roy allowed me to view the camera shots down the entire length of the pipe. He also explained possible options to help prevent future occurrences. Roy helped to make an unpleasant situation somewhat less aggravating.

The whole time, Ernst and Eudis had an upbeat attitude and were very professional. They explained everything as they went along and we couldn't have asked for better service. The whole appt took about an hour and they did an excellent clean up as well. Best $475 we could have spent, especially for a late night last minute service call!!

Ron (#5592) came to our rescue! He was at our home the Sunday after Thanksgiving within a half-hour of the call to the central service desk. He was polite, kind, and professional. Diagnosed the problem right away and fixed everything in under an hour. Ron also cleaned the entire area after finishing the job, even vacuuming as much water off the floor & out of carpet as he could. We would definitely call again! We highly recommend Ron and would request him in the future.

Very well tech came right in was professional and polite. looked right at the problem and knew what to do and got it taken care of in 20mins.

Arrived promptly took 2.15 hours to resolved not observation was the price seemed high for the service. Not complaints with the service technicians.

Roto-rooter was able to send someone quickly. Ron was great (#ss92)- he was professional and friendly and explained the cost before beginning the work, which was accomplished efficiently.

Very well, the contractor phoned and explained my situation. He requested that I authorize the work and then he can be more precise about the price. The price was not reduced. He did the job he was contracted to do. The tech also suggested using a giological flush each month to prevent the future clogs. mily

They arrived when expected. Being fairly new to the home; I wanted to have the sewer line inspected due to age of home and neighbors having issues with sewer back ups. Glad this was done for piece of mind; thankfully all clear no issues. The drains were slow as well in the basement bathroom; all was cleared out.

Joe (tech #2326) was the best part of this service call. Friendly and professional. I knew when I decided to call that I was basically committing to a steep charge compared to calling someone else and scheduling an appointment later next week, but I accepted that fate. I had already spent a few hours trying to clear the drain myself and just wanted the process to be complete. Joe came, assessed the situation, snaked the drain and cleaned up within an hour of my initial call.

I had spent a morning trying to unclog the drain using draino, to no avail. I called Roto-Rooter. The person on the phone was very nice, expressing sympathy, and set up a time that afternoon. The guy arrived on time as promised, calling ahead 30 minutes in advance to confirm his arrival. He was very pleasant. He assessed the problem, went quickly to work, and in 15 minutes he was done. He did what appeared to be a very thorough job,

Ron was great. He came on Sunday afternoon and did a great job. We originally were supposed to have someone come in the morning, stayed home for over 2 hours waiting until we were told (after I called twice) they would not be coming at the assigned time. I would have appreciated knowing that earlier on, instead of waiting for almost 3 hours. We rescheduled window of service time for later in the day and the process significantly improved.

Made appointment online for this morning. Email confirmation. Roto had a 1 hour window this morning & came well within the timeframe. Very quick & professional service: plumber snaked the toilet, found a problem, and was done within 15 minutes. Price seems a bit high (over $200.00!) but it worked, and we have a 7 day warranty.

I made an emergency appointment today and they said someone would be by within two hours. I waited for 90 minutes and I got a phone call saying they had to cancel my appointment. They did not sorry for anything and didn't offer anything for their mistake. I understand mistakes can be made, but it was all on their end and they did not feel any remorse for making me wait for them and learning about the problem much later. I am in the Somerville area. However, after a few days, I couldn't find a plumber, so I tried them one more time. The first time I called the 1800 number, I got redirected to the area code where my cell phone was located. This is probably why the first time they setup the wrong appointments. I would avoid calling the 1800 number at all costs in case you have a cell phone in an area different than the one you're living in. The customer rep I got connected to was not helpful at all and made me feel stupid even though it wasn't anything I did. Once I called the local office, the rep there was much better. She initially scheduled a drainage person to come but realized that my issue required a plumber, so kudos to her for figuring that out without having the wrong person to show up. When the plumber came, Josh, he was just excellent. He dove right into the mess, explained the issues, and was very friendly and helpful. It was worth all the effort to get to this guy. He fixed the saniflo motor issue and got the bathroom system all working again. I changed the grades to reflect the overall experience. If I was only to grade the plumber himself, he would A+ all across the board. Because of the clusterfuck the customer service representatives are in, it was very hit or miss on the quality of service I got. On average, I gave Bs because only the plumber. The customer service sides needs a lot of work on a national scale, but service needs to be always a high priority.

Punctual emergency service after a wad of paper towels made it down our sewer line. Pulled the toilet, snaked the line, reseated the toilet and cleaned up perfectly. Our tech (Ron 5592) couldn't have been more helpful or efficient!

The clean up was a little rushed and the camera analysis was lacking.

Gary the tech tried a number of ingenuous ideas to extract the tee shirt . Vacuuming out the water and striping down the pump eventually resolved the problem

Joe arrived at the appointed hour, cleared the drains quickly, cleaned up and was headed out within 30 minutes. Though I think the price was a bit steep, I cannot argue with the quality of the work. My time is valuable, and not having to wait around for even an hour made the deal worthwhile.

Technician arrived in the frame time. Done his job in reasonable time. He left the place clean.

JOE was the tech who showed up. This guy was professional, knowledgeable and made us feel that the situation would soon get under control. Joe had to take large equipment down a tricky set of stairs and he did it without any issues, always making a difficult situation seem painless. Joe took out the toilet and figured out what the problem was, fixed it in less than a few hours and the cost was $650. JOE was calm and made a very difficult situation much less stressful. Roto Rooter also has a team that comes put to do the clean-up too. WOW, I couldnt believe it. I highly recommend JOE and the Roto Rooter Stoughton branch. Ask for JOE, you'll be so glad you did.

Technician arrived on time and within 90 minutes of call for service. He thoroughly evaluated the problem and checked function of all drains connected to the main drain stack to be sure where the problem was . He was able to clear the drain in about 30 minutes of starting work. He provided instruction on preventative care measures that I can do to help prevent a reoccurrence of the problem. The technician was courteous and worked in a highly professional manner and left work area in a clean condition. I am a handy person but was not able to clear the drain myself using a homeowner grade plumbing snake. This clog really needed a professional to clear.

Provider was punctual, and fixed the problems with our slow drain / standing water in the bathroom. Price was reasonable, would recommend and use again.

It was very easy and simple to schedule and get this taken care of. Called a nice gal named Candy and we were able to schedule during a 2 hour window on the same day which was a Saturday. Rotorooter called us about 30 minutes prior to Stephen's arrival. He arrived with a smile and explained everything he planned to do and why. After he was finished unclogging the bathroom sink, Stephen explained his recommendations to help prevent future clogs. Our experience today was very good. Stephen was neat and left things the way he found them. Even put a towel down so he would not track mud on our hardwood floors. Very pleased with the convenience and excellent service provided on a weekend!

I'm not sure which Roto-Rooter location he was sent from (Springfield, I think, but I don't see that address on Angie's List). It was Chet, and he was prompt, efficient, and nice. Roto-Rooter called to confirm and say he was on the way, which was reassuring. Couldn't have asked for more.

Procedure was done well Service person did think that there might be a solid object but was able to unclog the toilet without recovering any object. I didn't like that the price for unclogging a toilet was $239.00 That just doesn't match the labor involved in the task and for that reason I will refrain from using Roto Rooter again.
