Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

Description of Work: Our septic system backed up pouring bath water....luckily all over our downstairs. Called Roto Rooter in a Sunday night and they were here in under 2 hours. Our back up was quickly solved. The Tech Mike did a great job with cheer as we riddled him with questions.

Description of Work: After a minor bout with a clogged (and cleared) toilet yesterday, a shower finally overwhelmed the system and started backing up into the downstairs toilet. My husband tried to fix it by opening a valve in the basement (to clear the line), resulting in ...well, I didn't see it but it looked like a septic fountain had happened. We called Rotorooter, and Stephen H. came out. AWESOME! He explained what the problems were, walked me through what he was going to do, and went above and beyond to be helpful and of service. He was very patient and kind. I felt better when he left because it all felt solved in a competent way and wouldn't be a problem again if we took care as we should. Description of Work: They had to clear the drain pipe leading to the street. He had to use a couple of different tools/machines to get the job done. It wasn't easy. He seemed a bit rude at first (perhaps because of the late hour) but later on in doing the job, he became nicer, a little more friendly.

Description of Work: We had a stoppage in our toilet and bath tub on the first floor. We were very pleased, they had excellent customer service and were very speedy and timely. Explained everything we needed to know to avoid future issues.

Description of Work: Said they would come between 10AM - Noon. At 11:40AM I called to check on where they were. They were rude and told me they didn't have a plumber on that day (it was a Sat.) but they could get one to me in 90 minutes. (Never really apologized.) I will NEVER call them again, and suggest others follow my example.

Description of Work: Had a very bad clogged toilet. Before the job started, Anthony gave us different pricing - auger versus taking the entire toilet apart. Anthony Becker (1478) used his auger and cleared the clog.

Description of Work: Plumber came promptly and did clear my plugged toilet. Unfortunately he made clear he did not want to discuss how to prevent future clogs. A few weeks later, when it clogged again, a different plumber solved the problem with a differently-designed toilet fixture. I wish Roto-Rooter would have done that.

Description of Work: I had a leak from one of the pipes below the toilet. He was able to fix it easily with PVC glue. If it leaks again some of the pipe will need to be replaced. I liked that he was willing to prevent/delay a major expense by using an alternative method. I have used Roto-Rooter many times. They are always prompt, courteous and efficient. Plumbing isn't cheap, but given my track record with them I'd say it was worth it.

Description of Work: I had a leak in my toilet between the tank and the base. It required removing the tank and installing new washers and bolts. It was a fairly simple repair (that I could not have done myself) and it was expensive. However I believe the price would have been just as high with any other plumber. I have called Roto Rooter many times and always been pleased with their work.

Description of Work: Cleared a clogged bathroom vanity drain. Service tech was nice and explained each step. Don't remember when the service was, only that it was an emergency call.
