The Roto Rooter service technician Joe Yurrita was prompt, extremely courteous and professional. Addtionally, he demonstrated a vast knowledge of my service call drain issue and other plumbing issues which could occur within a home and provided sage advise on monitoring/taking proactive measures to remedy them. I will personally request him for services in the future.

I have a gutter system that drains underneath the driveway and onto the Storm drain. I called Roto Rooter to unclog the gutter . I was charged a fee of 750.00 partly due to the need to use a snake Hose to get to the clog) the guy was on time and explained the Details of getting to this kind if clog and fixed the problem in 30 Minutes. Approximately 12 hours later a "sinkhole " appeared in the driveway .Roto rooter has yet to return my call and the paving Repair person said that when you use 4000 PSI to force out a clog under The driveway... That kind of pressure is way too forceful for asphalt . Needless to say, lack of knowledge and inexperience is expensive.

The technician was professional and well trained. Analyzed problem correctly and solved the problem promptly and to our satisfaction. Worked cleanly and cleaned up after self. was professional, courteous and friendly. Informed us fully as to nature of problem and how we could minimize likelihood of recurrence. Response time to our initial call outstanding--He was on site in less than 1 hour of our calling. Strongly recommend Mr. Van Vo.

Showed up 2 hours late. Did the job and tried to up-sell me the entire time. Called office a few days after the work to get paper quotes for additional work and they did not call back. Had to call the next day leave and message to get a call back. Then they quoted me prices that were higher then what they verbally quoted me. Will never do business with again.

I live on a very steep - long driveway and that day a snowstorm was coming in. When the technician came, it had just starting snowing and he could not drive up the driveway, so he walked up. After he evaluated the situation, he had had to walk back to get the supplies. He not only fixed my issues, but he did it with a smile, even with the treacherous driveway.

The individuals that responded to the job (clogged main sewer line from house to street) over 2 work days (on Saturday and the following Monday). Van, Andy, Octavio and the excavation team of Nick/Don and 2 others were all very professional and provided all services in a careful manner. Van, who responded to the initial call late on a Saturday afternoon, did all he could to clear to the trap, and explained what would happen next. That service, while somewhat expensive at $350, seemed fairly priced. Andy, who came on Monday, carefully replaced the trap with a Y-shaped pipe under our cellar floor, and minimized damage to the surroundings. Andy was extremely professional and completed this work in about 4 hours ( the agreed upon price quoted on the previous Saturday was $3,000! - which at the time seemed to be an exorbitant price. When you have no ability to run water in your house, you must be decisive as a homeowner when faced with ongoing new facts and decisions, and you have almost zero ability to shop around for price in that situation, so while I agreed to the $3k, I wasn't pleased. Once the clog was determined to be somewhere downstream of the house, the excavation team was brought in at a proposed price of $6,800. While our side yard was torn up, the excavation team did everything possible to preserve our landscape, including plucking shrubs and small trees, and placing them back carefully after the trench was backfilled. An ugly price, but the crew was careful as I described, and 4 workers and heavy equipment were on site from 3pm - 7pm, including a 2nd truck to jet out the sewer line from the house to the street. All in all, satisfied with the professionalism of the team and the quality of the work, but I believe that the Company may take advantage of your desperate situation on price.

Mike did a terrific job and was very neat. The company called in advance, which I liked, to say when he would arrive. The company's response was very timely. I have used them before and would do so again without hesitation.

Josh was nice, professional and courteous. He ensured safety and relieved by burden by getting the job done. He was professional and friendly. An added bonus was that he had same name as my son. I burned my son's barbecue chicken dinner because I was doing other things. When i tried come up with an excuse, Josh offered grace and said "blame the plumber (smile). So he had a nice sense of humor as well. I am relieved because he fixed the problem efficiently and now I can finish my laundry.. I am also thank ful for Angie's discount that was applied.

The technician, Augustine, showed up and was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain everything he was doing and why. He let me know that I was free to watch him do his work or didn't have to if I didn't want to. He also explained that while the pricing may be a bit higher than others, it's a flat fee and it's covered by Roto-Rooter's guarantee. He was a wonderful spokesman for the company and really helped me feel assured that I made the right choice. He was able to remove a bunch of roots from the main sewer line, unclogging the drain. He insisted that he call his supervisor, though, to bring out a camera to scope the line to ensure there weren't other roots that would become problems, since one of the roots he pulled up was pretty big. His supervisor, Mark, came out and found the issue - an even larger ball of roots. He recommended that portion of piping being replaced in our yard. He quoted us $2500, but also said that if we're 'handy', we may be able to save $ by doing it ourselves. We discussed what we'd need in order to do the job. I would definitely use this company again!

The expert used the cutting claws to wind through teh pipes from the septic system enterance to the house around the entire basement pipes. They asked me to turn on the water at some point to see if the clog was found. The water was black that was coming out and eventually turned clear. They also fixed some leaking toilets.

Our kitchen sink drain, the only sink we have on the first floor of our house suddenly clogged up. I opened the trap myself and lots of dirty water gushed out, but the blockage was still there. I called Roto Rooter at 7:30 am. They arrived about 9 am, and swiftly and professionally and solved the problem. They get high marks for promptness of response and efficiency of service. The cost, approx. $400, for 45 minutes of wark seemed a bit steep, but they were up front about the price and i agreed to it as we needed a solution right away. I guess good service costs a lot these days.

I had a really bad drain problem. Andy was helpful and provided a solution I could afford and live with.

Ultimatley, there was no blockage found and all water that was pumped into the drain never exited from the end of the drain. We beleive the drain fractured somewhere underground and the water is draining into the soil. Lindon went above and beyond trying different ideas to try to identify the issue. He also advised us to go online and use the coupon available to get a discount on the services we used that day. He was wonderful to work with and very invested in trying to help us.

They were available when nobody was. He was very efficient and I had no problems with his service. I was not at home at the time he went here, it was my husband instead and he was happy with the service.

On Saturday 4/5/14 he 92 year old water discharge line from the house to the street broke and collapsed due to cracks and tree roots that had penetrated the old ceramic line resulting in water backup into the basement. Roto-Rooter routed the discharge line from the house to the street. A video inspection revealed the damage. Replacement work was scheduled for the following Monday morning. On Monday a crew excavated the area in the front yard to replace the old pipe. The new pipe is a 4 inch PVC piece extending from the front of the house to the drop into the sewer line with a cleanout extending about 12 inches above the garden. The work included permits necessary to remove and replace a six foot section of the sidewalk and all town inspections.

I have been having backups into my slop sink since October. I have had several plumbers come to the house to clear any clogs. The last plumber suggested using a camera to make sure one of the connecting pipes had not dropped. Rhino Rooter had excellent references and camera capability. Mike came to my house exactly on time. He sent a large, professional snake through the main sewer line. He then used a camera to see if there were any other problems with my pipes. He explained the process thoroughly. We found that my pipes were in very good condition, but approximately 80 feet out there was a blockage. He talked about the town's sewer system and that a blockage was at the "chimney" section. He assured me that my pipes did not need to be replaced, and he would be happy to speak with the town's Dept. of Water to verify.
