We had last painted our house over 10 years ago and it was in dire need of carpentry work and exterior painting. I found it very easy to work with Real Painting from the start - they had solutions to all of our needs and the quote was detailed and easy to understand. The carpentry team was very skilled and their work exceeded my expectations for quality. The painting crew did an amazing job preparing the house for painting. They completely stripped the paint in most key areas and sanded the clapboards to perfection. Their attention to detail was immaculate - from caulking all to way to the finishing touches with our two-tone paint scheme. They also kept the site very clean. Everyone on the team was friendly, easy to talk to, and always showed that they cared for me as the customer. I am very happy with the work from Real - they delivered a great product at a reasonable price and within the expected timeframe.

When we decided to paint our 16-year-old house we could not be happier with our decision to go with Real Painting & home-improvement. Carlos (the owner) and his team were the best contractors we’ve ever dealt with. They started by painting a few rooms & ceilings on the interior And then moved on to paint the entire exterior. The interior came out beautiful. They moved furniture, filled holes , took down and replaced curtains. The line from wall to ceiling and ceiling from baseboard is sharp and clean. On the exterior they power washed the whole house the first day. Next they came to replace whatever rotted trim we had. After that onto the painting and what a fantastic job they did. Communication —Carlos was in touch every day to check-in on progress and every day our house was left spotless. Price, Quality and Attention to detail these guys have it all !

Real Painting and its employees were easy to work with. From start to finish they worked diligently and while the weather didn't always cooperate, they came back to complete the job whenever the weather allowed them to do so. They were always polite and easy going, as we had to coordinate with multiple neighbors since our home is located in the city, to provide the workspace necessary. Carlos was prompt in responding to all communication and was very professional and accommodating, always doing the leg work and following pandemic guidelines. Carlos also provided the time to repaint the trim on our door since we didn't like the initial color we chose. Carlos and his team were amazing! Carlos gave me a fair quote up front and explained what was and was not included in his price so we both knew what to expect. I had a lot of water damage on one portion of my house that was unseen during the original quote. Carlos stopped work showed me the issues and gave me a quote for that work that was fair. Carlos was on site every day to check the work his crew was doing, answer any questions I had and give me an update on progress. Not only would I recommend Carlos to friends and family, I already have him hired for another job I need done and will use him for any carpentry, painting or other house work I need done. He even gave me a great recommendation for gutter installation guys.

Carlos and his team did a great job with plowing my driveway/shoveling the steps last winter. They were punctual, the communication was great, and I would hire him again without any hesitation.

Requested a quote and made an appointment which he missed because he was in the wrong town. I rescheduled and he came out and then never sent a quote; disappointed and a lot of wasted time.

They were efficient, prompt and did an excellent job on our house and deck. We were so impressed that we hired them this year to renovate our guest bathroom. This consisted of tiling the tub area, putting on the fixtures, installing a vanity and toilet, and tiling the floor. We couldn’t be happier with the result! From start to finish I had a great experience with Carlos and all of the guys that worked for him. I previously had a relationship with him because he was the Contracted Painting Company for the new house that we moved into (Feb 2017) so I knew from that experience that all of his staff had fantastic attention to detail. I spoke with him about my project unaware that he also did renovations and was impressed with his level of knowledge and timeliness in getting back to me with any questions. He was available throughout the project and tried to keep things moving as quickly as possible which is not always easy when you're relying on plumbers, electricians, carpenters etc. We had a few hiccups along the way, like any significant project has, but Carlos always acted as quickly as possible to get them resolved and never just added additional cost without first having a conversation with me. We went from a finished, but unused, space in the basement to now having our own bar that most pub landlords would be proud of! All of this staff were extremely knowledgeable and easy to deal with. I would definitely work with him again on any future projects.

Carlos and his crew were great. They showed up when they time promised, were very respectful and easy to work with. They finish work was outstanding and I look forward to hiring him again soon.

Carlos responded quickly to my inquiry. He came out, took a look at my deck, and by the evening e-mailed me a quote that was very reasonable. Then he disappeared. I both phoned and e-mailed to set up a time. On the phone, he promised to get back but never did. I ended up buying my own pressure washer and doing the job myself for a third of the price! Yes, it took time and effort but now I have a machine for touch-ups from here on out.

Carlos’ team does excellent work all around - highly professional. Carlos is very responsive and offers fair prices. This company has been the best handyman and painting contractor I’ve had. Would definitely hire again.
