Carlos was highly professional, courteous, pleasure to deal with. I selected the color, they managed to partly do the job before I understood that the color was wrong. Carlos has given me good recommendations before the start, I did not follow them and then regretted as a result. I made a decision to repaint with the recommended paint, was glad I did that. Carlos was polite and very quickly did the repainting without any aggravations. Also, a small tile job in the bathrooms was done - tile strips one tile wide was put on both sides of the tubs in both bathrooms. It was well done. Carlos came with sufficient number of people in the team so they managed to complete the job in 3 days. I am very satisfied with the job he has done. As to the pricing, he is on the level of other painters I called. I put "B" above because a little lower pricing would be nicer.

The tile work was especially good. The tile people were very easy to work with. They were wonderful. He helped us design the shower stall. It was beautiful. Another man did the repair on the wall and the baseboard. Another person painted it and he did a good job. They did a good job. They were professional. They cleaned up the best they could.

Pretty well. Any missed spots were promptly addressed with complete professionalism. In a year with major renovations, performed my multiple contractors, this experience was the high point.

The estimate was timely, the painters arrived and finished on time, the cleanup was thorough, and the work was excellent. I would use them again and I would recommend them.

Carlos and his crew showed up as we planned. They completed all tasks professionally in about three weeks. The lead person working on carpentry was skillful and accommodating. One important thing we noticed was that at the end of each day, they cleaned the area so we did not feel any messiness. We found Carlos to be a knowledgeable person on the remodeling, in general, and on few occasions made informed suggestions to help us make decisions. Overall, my wife and I found Carlos and his crew to be professional, skillful, pleasant and honest. Regarding the cost, the estimate we got from Carlos was competitive, but a bit on the higher side. However, we decided to work with him because of the reviews we read and we believe that we made the right decision.

We highly recommend Real Painting. They were professional, thorough, and hard working (often staring at 7:30 am and continuing until 6 or 7pm). Their prep work was outstanding: power washing, scraping, sanding, patching and priming. They were very neat and respectful of our property by protecting our plants and cleaning up the debris at the end of each day. Carlos, the owner, was superb at communicating the plan and was often on site checking in. The price was excellent given the quality of work. We look forward to hiring Real Painting for any future work that we need to have performed.

Real Painting & Home Improvement recently painted the exterior of our three story victorian, not a small job by any means. His team did an excellent job. They were punctual and completed the project in the agreed upon timeframe. Carlos was available by text and phone, and was excellent at keeping us aware of any issues as they arose. Workmen arrived when expected, were thorough and careful in both the prep work and the painting and cleaned up the work areas at the end of each day. We’re very happy with the result and would hire again.

The work took about 3 weeks. As the house had mixed paint and stain, they thoroughly sanded places with most of peeling. I'm really impressed by thoroughness they scrape and sand. To me, that is THE most important part of job. After sanding, they did second power wash to remove dust. They also coated my deck for free after seeing scratches caused by ladder. The team is very professional and courteous. I'm really happy with the result, will definitely hire them again.

I could not have asked for a easier time working with Carlos and his crew. There were, and are personable, competent professionals who know what they are doing. We were so pleased that we asked for an estimate for the preparation and painting of our home, which included an estimate for all the trim that has to be replaced for rot. Knowing the company's background, and what they are currently involved regarding other jobs that they worked/working on certainly added to our positive opinion of the company. Highly recommended.

I contacted four companies for estimates for the work. One company responded that they don't paint detached garages, and another gave me an appointment two weeks in the future. Carlos was the first to come out (within a couple days, working around my schedule) to look at the work needed. I mentioned that I just needed the concrete block and wood trim done, and that I would paint the doors myself. He offered to do that work since they would be there anyway. Since I'm pretty busy, I appreciated that. He did not give me an estimate on the spot, and I prefer that approach as I think a company should take some time to come up with their estimate. The fourth company gave me an estimate on the spot which turned out to be very high. I received the estimate from Carlos via email about a week later. The price was excellent, and Carlos seemed like a good and honest person, so I hired him immediately, and canceled that future appointment. Carlos and the crew came out within a couple of days. I had purchased the masonry paint already, since I had originally planned to do the painting myself, so Carlos had agreed to use my paint. He provided his own primer, which he had tinted to match my color choice. The crew applied a coat of primer, and two of paint. With the exception of one small communication error, which Carlos cleared up immediately, everything went perfectly. Carlos is very responsive, and it is clear that he and his crew take pride in doing a great job. My garage was looking beautiful ( as beautiful as concrete block can look) within a couple days. I will definitely hire Real Painting & Home Improvement again in the future.

It was perfect! Real painting really took the time to ensure the job was done within the timeframe needed. Had two teams in order tommake the deadline and the job was performed with amazing detail.

Carlos called ~30 minutes before an appointment he set up with me (7/21, 2-4pm) and said that he needed to reschedule, so we rescheduled to 7/25, 2-4pm. That day I was at my house waiting for him to come do the estimate he promised, or at least call. I finally gave in and called him after the window had passed, and he had the gall to ask if I could reschedule because he had forgotten his "agenda" and didn't have my number to call me to reschedule again. How many times should a person reschedule before it is clear that the business has no intention of following through? My answer is apparently twice. This business was a giant waste of my time.

This company was responsive and professional from start to finish. Carlos promptly replied to my initial inquiry for an estimate and arrived on schedule. He walked the perimeter with me and explained his recommended approach. The estimate was in line with two others I'd received, and I felt it was more comprehensive (e.g., he would apply two coats of paint instead of one, and he would replace a small section of damaged, moldy siding rather than bleaching and repainting it). I had asked about replacing all of the trim with Azek, and Carlos advised against this since the upper trim was in good shape and was not cost effective to replace; I appreciated his honesty. He provided several local references who were pleased with the work they'd had done. The entire crew was very professional, arrived promptly each morning, and cleaned up at the end of each day. He kept me informed throughout the process. They did a terrific job--the house looks brand new! I realized a week later that a couple items had been overlooked (side door primed but not painted, bulkhead not painted), and he made sure everything was taken care of. I will definitely hire Real Painting again for future work!

It was a pretty good estimate, I just got one that was a little bit very. It was just the vibes from the people, I didn't have any bad vibes with the real painting. The guy I ended up contacting lives in my neighborhood, I like to support people in my town.

Carlos and his team did a great job. The house was first power washed and then prep began. There was carpentry work that needed to be done over a few days very professionally. There was extensive sanding and caulking of wood surfaces by several people. They applied a tinted oil primer stain and one coat latex solid stain to the walls which were sprayed on and back brushed. They protected our unusual lead windows by covering them in plastic. All trim, windows and corner boards received two coats of exterior latex paint. And some days there were more than 6 people on the job to make up for rain delays. Carpentry was priced separately at $2,590.

The photo is where I was while my house was being painted. Hire them was so worth it. It went so well I will be calling again for my next painting need. They also did a few carpentry things that needed to be done during the painting job. Nice!!!

Beyond anything I could have ever imagined. Just stupendous. We met with so many painters prior to choosing Real Painting & Home Improvements with quotes all over the place and numerous opinions of how the job would be done. In other words, so overwhelming; however, Carlos explained exactly how the job would be completed (as we had wall issues based on how the wallpaper was previously installed) as well as how long it would take. His crew was wonderful, professional and courteous and in my opinion, masters in painting. I have never been so impressed with a home project and for me to say that is a big step. It is very rare when you can say that the job was done exactly as you hoped it would be and without issues. I can finally say that I have a painter for future projects. In fact, we will be using them this summer to paint the outside of our home. You cannot go wrong with Real Painting. I even told Carlos he could give my name out to future customers which is something I have never done.

Carlos Real's painting crew did an excellent job. The crew did a very good job of preparing the house, including power-washing, scraping, and sanding old paint. The house required some carpentry work, and this was done well, including replacing mahogany wood boards on a back deck. The crew then applied tinted primer. The last step was to paint in three colors - body of house and trim and doors. The crew worked extremely hard. All members were polite and professional. The crew cleaned up well at the end of every work day. The crew foreman, whose first name was Wedson, was a delight to deal with. He was extremely response to the requests my wife and I made. After the job was completed, we had a very few follow-up requests. All were honored promptly, including applying an additional coat of paint on the front door. If you want an excellent job, Real Painting is a very good choice. We will use the company again to do some inside painting. Real Painting's prices are not low, but the company provides good value for the money.
