Marcio came out to give me an estimate and was very professional. I had two other quotes but I just got a good feeling and appreciated his kind demeanor. They were able to start the work right away. Unfortunately, there were some days of rain and I specifically asked them not to paint in the rain. Paint does not properly adhere to moist or damp wood. They painted in the rain despite my request. They did a poor job of sanding and scraping. I would call the paint job a "hog-wash." By November (4 months later) the paint was already peeling on all four sides of the home. He did not come out to repair the peeled areas until the next year after continually emailing and calling. He sent out Romeo to do touch ups and he literally just touched up. He didn't scrape or sand where needed and the entire house is peeling all around just two weeks after the "touch up" I called Marcio but no response, I guess he had no interest in keeping his word in a warranty. I never heard from Marcio again and my house still is peeling all around. I will have to hire another paint contractor next spring do do the work all over again. For the record, Marcio did recommend some air vent thing for additional money. I spoke with multiple contractors as I have undergone major renovations of my home over the past year, and they all agree that the work performed was terrible, and that I hired the wrong painting contractor. The air vents wouldn't have changed anything, this paint is peeling because it was not prepped properly and the clapboards were paint while painting. I never write poor reviews I just wouldn't use their services again. But I use Angie's List to try and find contractors and people should not use this guy as the work in unprofessional and his warranty is useless.

Everything appeared to go well at first but problems emerged a year later. Two coats of paint were supposed to be applied to the trim and a single coat to the pre-painted Hardi plank. A year later we noticed that some trim only had one coat and none of the ends of the trim had been painted. They did come back but only added the second coat in some places. Now the trim paint is peeling on the third floor and other high areas. In some places the trim is warping and thus it is very noticeable where two pieces meet. The paint over the Hardi-plank has faded in the sun and now there are large "blotches" where they applied NO paint at all. The Hardi-plank does not fade so there are the large, odd shaped blotches scattered on the house which are VERY visible. I guess we could paint over them and wait until they fade so the house is all the same color! They also didn't do simple thinks like remove the mailbox when they painted the house so neither the trim nor siding around the mailbox was painted. The mailbox hangs on two screws so they only needed to pick it up to remove it. I would NEVER hire them again. WHile they gave us a good price they did a lousy job that will end up costing us more in the long run!!

Company's estimate was much less than other companies. They had good reviews and references on their website, so we went with them. It was tough dealing with them. They did rather low quality work in regards to the finishing/skim coating of the walls. Marcio did not monitor the project in the least bit and was rarely on site. He did respond to our daily concerns and saw to it that they were addressed. The problem was that we should not have to be in a position where we need to contact him nearly every day about concerns about quality of work in the house. We did email him nearly every day that work was done, concerning little things. They had said a room was finished and we found that there were small areas that were not painted (such as in corners), or that wall paper was painted over or areas that were very rough and looked like were not properly skim coated. Marcio did follow up with his crew after each problem, most problems were taken care of, a few problems are still noticeable, such as when they would do an entire wall, but leave a nail or anchor in the wall. They would go and fix it later, but they were often quick fixes and still stand out today. They did several rooms for us, some look great, many areas look great, but some areas were not done to the level that we had expected and there are some issues we have noticed over time that stand out that we have simply fixed ourselves. I would recommend this company if you are looking for a low cost provider to come in and paint parts of your house, but I would not recommend them for the skim coating of walls. Their definition of quality work and cleanliness is a little different than ours. I did recommend them to one friend who was looking for the best deal that they could get for painting one or two rooms. All in all, Marcio was not at our site overseeing the job, there were too many situations that we had to call them on to have fixed and there cleanliness could use a little improvement (we spent a while cleaning and picking plaster or paint off the floors). Marcio seems to mean well and was friendly to deal with and they did get several of the rooms to look really good, but all in all it was a somewhat frustrating experience and we were happy to move on. If you are only looking for painting this company might be the way to go, they do a pretty good job at that for a very low price.

I GOT THREE ESTIMATES FOR MY PAINT JOB AND MOMBRINI WAS THE LEAST EXPENSIVE. HE WAS TOTALLY PROFESSIONAL, FROM HIS WEB-BASED PROPOSAL TO HIS WEB-BASED BILLING. HE AND HIS GUYS DID A WONDERFUL JOB, AND WERE ALSO NEAT AND TIDY. WHEN HE CAME ON A SATURDAY, AND I WAS IN FLORIDA, HE DISCOVERED A FROZEN WATER PIPE. HE BOUGHT A HEATER AND PUT IT IN THE CRAWL SPACE. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM.
