Marlboro Gutter Cleaning & Installations

These people were extremely difficult to reach by phone, never answering their line directly and often taking days (and multiple messages left) to return a call. When I spoke initially with Laura (the co-owner) she gave me a projected date for the work to be done, three weeks hence, but when the date arrived, i had not received the promised confirmation call. I could not reach the office and it took another week for someone else to call me back to say there would be a further delay. Only when I finally left a message threatening to take my business elsewhere did I receive another call with a new promised date for the work and an apology for the delay in getting back to me. Once the work date was actually confirmed, the other co-owner, Joe, did show up as planned. He was personable and polite and did a good job. The price seemed rather high and was about double what Laura had predicted ($4-500 total) when I first spoke to her. On the other hand, Joe did give me a 10% senior discount. I would recommend this service provider but with some reservations based on the unresponsive (and not very cordial) behavior of the office staff and the high price. But the work itself was done efficiently and well.

I called Laura concerned about a problem with the gutter. Due to the gutter problem, I also had damage done to the lawn. I was in urgent need of getting it fixed because the house is getting ready to be sold. They came quickly and took care it! The cost was more than I've paid in the past using other companies, but it was worth it. (A large colonial house, where the back is really 3 floors up because of a walk out basement) Thanks!!

Was contacted by email, like in prior years, to confirm I wanted to have my gutters cleaned again this year. Great! I also asked for an estimate to have some of my gutters replaced. No problem, it was delivered and communication was that it would be done in a few weeks,they would let me know as the schedule was firmed up. The end of the story…no gutter replacement or cleaning. No explanation.

It was a pleasure dealing with the owner on the phone. They called prior to the appointment and were so punctual. I already made an appointment for next year.

Both calls went unreturned. I live in Susdbury, the next town over, so I am in their area.

I called and spoke with Laura, who said she was one of the owners. In addition to the cleaning, I asked if the could look at the gutter on one side of my house, which was not working properly, causing water to seep through the foundation and enter the basement. We talked for several minutes about potential causes. Laura was very helpful and friendly, and looked at my home on Google Earth to give me a price. Any repair would, of course, be more. She told me her husband would be able to come out the following Tuesday, but would call in advance to confirm. I never got a call, and they never showed up. I called again later that following week and left a message on voicemail asking for a callback, as I assumed they might have gotten busy which delayed the schedule. No response, even to this day. I have no idea why.

Two story house that we recently purchased. Didn't appear to have ever had gutters cleaned so was a big job. Job was completed quickly and thoroughly.

They are excellent. They came, do their job and they are very good at it. If we call them, we will get our money's worth. They are very good. They do an excellent job and they are very personable. I've been using them even before Angie's List came.

Very well. There was minor scheduling issues in the beginning but they communicated well about it and were honest about what was happening. After estimate was received they let me know they were scheduling work about 3 weeks out. There were a couple hiccups in nailing down the exact date, but they let me know the exact reasons why and they were understandable. Point being - my expectations were being set correctly. When the final date was determined, they stuck to it, arrive promptly, were professional and friendly and did a great job. Their bid was also significantly lower than other bids I received.

I telephoned the company and got an answering machine which suggested I send an email. I did so, but never received any response from the company.

No response by telephone or by email.

They arrived on time to do the services asked of them. They were professional while working. They were courteous and kind. I would use their services in the future. The quality of their work was good. They were responsive to my phone calls.
