MALSKY ELECTRIC

I called Malsky Electric based on ratings here and on prior experience with one of their electricians who was as subcontractor on some work at my house. I received a return call within a day and we quickly scheduled time for the work at my convenience. I initially expected that I would need a new circuit for the sump pump, but the electrician who did the work advised me that was not required by code and that a nearby circuit had more than enough capacity to support the pump. He installed a GFI outlet off the existing circuit and installed the whole house surge protector. The overall price for this job was reasonable, but be sure to check on the minimum call charge if you have a small job.

Overall it went well. They came in a little bit lower than another company I had gotten a quote from. They gave a price range of $400 to $500 dollars to get the job done and did it for $400. They seemed very professional. They returned phone calls promptly, which I think is great and really important. They showed up on time when they said they were going to. They were just great folks to work with.

Overall experience was very good. Jerry provided an estimate over the phone after I described the job. He was punctual and worked fast. He was organized and cleaned up after himself. He had to send one of his workers back a week later to hang my pendant lights which hadn't arrived yet but which he wired for on his first visit. I found his coworker very courteous and just as capable.

The service was awesome and he did a great job. He was very friendly, courteous, professional and knowledgeable. He was on time and got the job done in a timely manner. I would recommend him.

They were one of three quotes,but theirs was not the cheapest,however their references were the best. They were very punctual, polite and pleasant to have around. We had a minor glitch they wired one line the wrong voltage, however, they caught and fixed it.

Surprising. I expected Jerry to show up and take a two to three days to get everything done by himself. His whole crew showed up and the job was done in 1/2 a days, clean, and out of our hair. Great experience and I would use his services again.

Mike came out to provide us with an estimate for a number of different projects, including replacing outlets and switches, installing recessed lighting, and adding new outlets. He provided estimates on the spot, and said he could actually complete one phase of the project, replacing the outlets and switches, the same day. His price seemed fair so we agreed to him to complete that phase that day. Mike went and got the parts and completed the work the same day, replacing a couple of dozen outdated two prong outlets with grounded three prong outlets, as well as new light switches throughout the house. He cleaned up everything and the work looks great.

Found Jerry Malsky on Angie's List. Chose his company because of great/consistent Angieslist.com feedback. Emailed Jerry for a quote over the weekend; he called me on Monday. Quote was very reasonable and he had availability to do the work today (Thursday the same week). Mike did the work. Was very professional, friendly and personable. Took the time to answer questions, explain what he needed to do before he did it and made suggestions. Mike patched holes, discarded trash and vacuumed up. Whole job took about three (3) hours. Would definitely recommend and will be using Malsky Electric for any ongoing work that needs to be done. You won't be disappointed.

Jerry is a consummate professional and wonderful to work with. He works efficiently, fast and carefully. All of our work was done top notch, to the highest standards. If something wasn't working exactly how we wanted, or needed an adjustment he happily came back. He is responsive, hard working and very dependable. I would not work with any other company other than Malsky in the future.

They were really nice and very good. I would give them an A rating. We used somebody else before and they did a bad job. They did something against code so we were happy to have someone that did the job correctly. The price was very reasonable.

It went very well. He arrived promptly in the morning, went right to work, installed the fans , always asking me what my preferences were, cleaned up perfectly after he was done. He went outside, replaced the covering without issue and, took down an old telephone wire that was not being used and replaced the box around my electric meter that was old and corroded. I would wholeheartedly recommend him again, I thought he did an excellent job.

Jerome and two assistants came in for one day while the walls were open and removed the old wiring, added circuits, and put in the new wiring. Once the walls were closed again, they came back on one or two separate occasions for the finish work. We were very happy with their work. They came when they were supposed to and finished their work on time. They were one of the strongest links in our renovation process and their work generally proceeded smoothly. One small bump in the road occurred when the electrical inspector requested that they replace the standard GFI outlets with the tamper resistant variety during the finish electric inspection, but Malsky made the change almost immediately and quickly arranged for a re-inspection which we passed. Overall, we're very happy with speed, skill, and alacrity with which he completed his work.

Malsky's sent out a fantastic guy who even came on Sunday to be able to work us into his already busy schedule, which we appreciated. They have super service and they are completely trustworthy and honest.

Arrived and put in new meter box and inside panel and had power back on by lunch. Worked in a neat and efficient manner. Very Happy.

Excellent. I emailed him one evening, he called back the next morning and came over the morning after. He quickly diagnosed the problem (we couldn't turn on the outdoor lights and didn't know why) and fixed it within an hour or so.
