Very rocky start as we had reserved a slot in October. When we called to confirm, we were told that there was a new office office manager who had been there for a week and there was no record of our work to be done. The next next available slot was the end of November. This was exceedingly inconvenient for us. However, the painters were more than competent, efficient and meticulous. They completed the job a day early and only went 5 hours over. We did do all the prep work but these are really good at what they do.

Very responsive & professional company and crew. Work was completed in 3 week. They asked questions along the way, made useful suggestions and everything was done as requested. Any issues were addressed immediately. Very happy with them and would highly recommend.

That’s twice now that they cancelled ,at the last minute, appointments for an estimate. The first time cost me a half day of vacation time at work and the second time I rearranged my thanksgiving weekend plans to be at home. Then they did’t even have the decency to call and cancel but instead twice sent a calendar invite with a different date and still no message or apology. What ridiculous customer service. Very unprofessional! Oh, they also apparently operate under two different names. Are you MA Painters and Remodeling or MA Design and Construction? Sounds a little suspect. I will never hire this company. I can only imagine how things might go once they get on your property.

Work was high quality, easy communication and scheduling.

It went very well. They came when they said they were going to come, they worked the whole time, and they did an excellent job.

As life had it, we BOTH had our setbacks, yet the house looks beautiful....feels perfect. It's amazing.

It went very well. Marc is very responsive, constantly thinks about the work and tries to give you what you want, but also evaluates and tries to improve upon your plans. We're were unhappy with some color choices(our fault) and he had everything repainted until we were satisfied. He's also a very nice guy. The house hadn't been remodeled since the early 1970's when we purchased it, after it was done it looked like new construction. We even had a delivery person say we had a "beautiful brand new home". In addition, even though it was a long, very costly project, he was very flexible with the payment schedule, never pushy.

The framing & base boards look amazing! The two carpenters were friendly, offered advice and were fastidious in getting the job done. When I came home from work, it was beautifully done and they cleaned up! I had a wonderful experience and would suggest this company to anyone looking for remodel help.

I have used this company now three times ranging from interior work, exterior house painting and now the with the deck update. They have always worked professional and the quality of their work shows through in the finish product. I highly recommend them!

At every turn, Marc and his crew were responsive, patient, attentive and kind. They made a major renovation a pleasure. His crew came back to touch up some nicks from furniture deliveries and were quick and on time for those touch ups. I have already hired Marc for repeat business and will hire him again. I trusted him with a complicated old house and he did not disappoint. Between the electrical, the lighting, brightened trim and replastering, it feels and lives like a new house.

It went really well. They did great quality work and did it in a timely manner. They kept me up to date on their progress and were clear about changes that had to be done to the original estimate and why. They didn't do anything differently without my permission and we always had an extensive conversation about things that came up. They were honest, straightforward, polite, and kind. They listened to my concerns and were patient and open to changing plans (or sticking to original plans). They made me feel like my satisfaction was their priority and did what had to be done to make sure I was happy with their work. And there is no doubt I was happy with their work.

Everybody can’t stop talking the new kitchen. It is like a work of art. Issues, there always little things but Marcelo took care of them before I could bring them up. It was like magic. Good contractors are hard to find, but when you do you keep them. Thanks, Marcelo

Everything went very well (I'm attaching a variety of before & after pictures with this review). The total job took longer than expected, but that was mainly because we were not 100% ready to start when the contractors arrived (we were still dithering over colors, etc.). Marc and Grace (his project manager) checked in with both of us daily to make sure we were happy with how everything was going, even if it meant going back to re-do a couple of things if the project required it. (The house is more than 150 years old, and it took a lot of extra effort to get the floor sufficiently level for new tiling, but Marc and his team invested a lot of extra effort to get the job done right.) The final scope of work included: new granite countertops, new tile backsplash, new linoleum tile floor, painting existing cabinetry, stripping wallpaper, and installing new bead-board/baseboards/crown moldings throughout the kitchen and laundry rooms. We were pretty happy with the original layout and didn't need to move any appliances (so we only needed MA Painters for minimal plumbing and electrical work). The two biggest pieces were: 1) painting the existing cabinetry, which were not wood but laminate, so they needed to be cleaned/sanded/primed/painted, and 2) leveling the floor and installing new tiling. They also custom built a new section of cabinetry near the backdoor with space for cookbooks, tools, cubbyholes for shoes, and a spot for sorting mail and charging our electronics. The original contract also included some carpentry on our front porch to replace some columns and planks that had weathered. Terrific work all around! We've lived in this house for 17 years with a phenomenally ugly kitchen, and my only regret is that we didn't find MA Painters sooner.

Our new kitchen looks fantastic! Every who comes over raves about. Issues? There are always things that come up but they were resolved many times without mentioning them. Good contractors are hard to find, but once you do you stick with them. Thanks, guys!

We couldn't be more pleased! Marc's team thoroughly scraped down the house and got the painting done in a matter of days. This is a family-run business that cares a lot about the quality of their service and they are committed to making their customers happy. We were particularly pleased that the price was the price. Along the way, a number of out-of-scope items arose, as would be expected when painting a 120 year old house. However, MA Painters stepped up and just took care of these things rather than heaping incremental charges on us. We are so happy with the job that Marc and his team did, that we are looking forward to having them help with some interior renovation and painting as well.

Punctual in time. 1 coat of paint was performed with good quality. Speed/output was a bit slower than I expected for 40 men hours but it could have higher expectation. In general, I saw the slight tendency to complete / inflate hours. Also observed painters smoking on the property.

Awesome, the men were courteous and professional, they cleaned up superbly. I am very satisfied with there work and would / will use them again with any future projects.

After flying in to check on the state of the work, I was pleasantly surprised. They had done a beautiful job. Because of this, we expanded the scope of work to a number of other things we wanted to have done, but were wary of attempting remotely. One of the things I noticed on the side of their trucks really stuck with me. It said "we build trust". I have to say, they do indeed. I'm completely comfortable with hiring them to complete any home remodel, repair or design because I know the quality of work and reasonable pricing will be there consistently. If you have that in a contractor, everything else will work out.

MA Painting & Remodeling is an excellent company. Grace in Administration kept us informed of all details including materials needed and labor costs. The two carpenters, who were highly skilled, arrived on time and worked diligently. Upon completion, they cleaned up and left the job site in good condition. Will definitely use them in future.

They did an excellent job. Marc and his crew were great. They answered all of my questions, were punctual, cleaned up every day , and were very courteous. We had them add on a few things from the original contract and they had no problem helping us out by doing it at the same time. I would definitely recommend them.

We are thrilled with the work. The closets are beautiful and functional. Marc, Grace and their crew from MA Painters & Remodeling are great - kind, respectful, and professional. I am now thinking of redoing a closet in the master bedroom with them!
