Marc and Raquel were wonderful. There were some delays in completing all the work but Raquel never lost touch with me and didn't ask for final payment until we were 100% satisfied. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

I saw the ad on Angie's List and contacted the provider. Marc came over that evening to give me an estimate. I wanted to see how the what the total cost would be and what the coupon would provide. We agreed on a price. I purchased the coupon. Marc is very professional, personable and trustworthy. If there was down time due to rain, Marc called. The job was completed - and it looks great.

This was an Angie's List Big Deal, $899 (plus the cost of paint which came to about $100) for one painter for a week or two painters for two and a half days. As it turned out, we wound up with 3-4 painters for about a day and a quarter. We were very happy with the job that MA Painters & Remodeling did. The owner Marc was very friendly and carefully laid out for us the different options for getting the job done. He was also able to get the stain we used at a lower professional rate than we would have been able to purchase it for ourselves. As part of the prep work, the painters also nailed in a number of loose boards before painting. It did take a few weeks before they were able to start the work, given a backlog that some rainy weather caused, but Marc kept us informed of changes in their schedule and waiting for them to start wasn't a big deal since the work wasn't that urgent from our perspective.

The provider was very responsive and communicated well with us. Unfortunately our plans changed and we did not require the service. All in all, a good experience with provider, who was flexible. Our desire for a refund does not at all reflect any dissatisfaction with provider or the Big Deal.

We didn't use him for this job because we decided to use someone that had been personally recommended to us and was able to start the job right away- but I would definitely consider Mark and his company for another job in the future.

It is simple- we could not find a time to schedule the work. They were nice- I was nice- end of story.

The communication by phone and email messages by Raquel was very good, as a matter of fact, I felt her communication skills were superior. This was a $199 coupon for 6 man-hours which I purchased and I was unclear what materials I would have to purchase for my paint job and how much extra work might be required after my 6 man-hours were completed. For this, Raquel arranged an appointment for Marc to see me to let me know what kind of paint I would have to purchase at my own cost, and how much extra time (and, therefore, extra money) I would have to pay to complete the painting job of my small foyer and stairway. When Marc was more than an hour late without a call to me, I called the office and left a message. I also sent an email to Raquel. She did get back to me by email to tell me that Marc had run into an emergency and did not let her know until after my appointment time. I was advised that he would be about 3 hours late. Of course, this was the whole afternoon. I mentioned that I was aware that emergencies could happen, but would have expected a telephone call to let me know as soon as Marc realized that he would not be able to keep my appointment. Marc finally showed up 3 hours late and apologized and Raquel also apologized by email explaining the nature of the emergency. I was a little oversensitive about this lateness because I had just read in an Angie's List Customer Review that Marc had shown up more than an hour late on two occasions for her job. That, however, was not the reason I cancelled my coupon, although it wasn't helpful. The reason was that Marc gave me a price that was too high to complete the job, even after he cut it down by $200 from his initial quote. Since it would be a total of $1,200 which included the $199 coupon price plus materials, I thought I needed time to get other bids to see if this was, indeed, a realistic price. Since the 30-day refund for the coupon would soon expire, I decided to cancel my coupon before I was able to make appointments with other painters.

They were very accommodating with my schedule, arrived on time and looked/behaved very professionally. All of the work was done to my satisfaction and they cleaned up after themselves very well. Several times during the job I was asked to look and comment on their progress and how they were doing. Asking for feedback was a really positive sign for me.

Overall, it was a good experience. Raquel (the owner's wife and operations person) was great in communicating with me. The workers were polite and worked the allotted hours projected. The end product is great! My only challenge was that the owner scheduled two visits with me to scope out the job and then show one of his workers the job the day before, and both times he was over an hour late. Now, I work full time and had to leave work early on both occasions, so I was less than pleased with him being so late. However, Raquel kept me informed of his status and was very pleasant to work with.

They showed up exactly when they said they would .. They were extremely helpful and nice... and on top of that they did a fantastic job and we are extremely pleased .. When they completed the job they cleaned and left the house immaculate .. I would not hesitate to use them again and I would highly recommend this company to everyone !!

They were excellent and very professional. Much cheaper than the highly advertised cabinet refacing services.

Marc was very responsive and communicative. He kept an eye on what his employees were doing and did some work himself, which he did not charge us for.

MA Painters & Remodeling was amazing from beginning to finish. First they painted my house, then they did carpentry, and now they refinished and stained my floor. The crew is friendly, fast, and detailed. They cleaned up after themselves, and were always on time. I was thinking about spending more money to pay my floors, but after they stained and finished it, they look new again! Marc and his wife are a great team- friendly and organized... They answered all the questions I had, and know about what they do! I definitely recommend...

Marcello was just incredible from start to finish. He responded to my call right away and came in with a very fair price. The work was through and he and his crew were here for many days. They worked tirelessly, the quality of the painting and we hardly knew they were here. Instead of spreading out all over the place, they concentrated on a particular area or room, so that our lives were not disrupted. At the end of each day, the area was spotlessly cleaned up. I could not believe the amount of detail and precision that each on his crew painted with, all were very high end. The quality of paint speaks for itself. Marcello’s company did this job almost eight years ago, and the paint looks as fresh as the day it was done. (except for where my kids and house scuffed the walls!). Marcello is able to make recommendations on color and paint types better than any paint/remodeling specialty store. I of course called Marcello and again he returned my call right away, came to look at the scope of work, and again came in with a very fair price. I would have no one else paint my home except for Marcello. Even though I know quite a bit about paint and painting, I really felt I could trust his expertise. We are now doing an addition and remodeling of our whole house.

They were responsive, I needed the house painted in two days before putting the house on the market for selling. They were prompt, thorough from set up to clean up. I had a lot of different rooms that needed minor painting touch ups and Marcello took care of them all. They went above and beyond, even helping me dispose sand from a swing set that was too heavy to carry.

It was the second time I used MA Painters and I am completely satisfied. The owner himself comes to see the job and quote it. They are very organized and responsive. I got a detailed estimate and contract, great references, and will continue to use them for all my painting and remodeling needs.

They came in the very next day after signing the contract, removed all furniture and plastic wrapped everything prior o bring any tools inside. They fixed every flaw in the walls nicely, primed and painted finishing the work in only one week. I was amazed by the results. Well recommended MA Painters as a service contractor.

MA Painters did an incredible job and helped me out tremendously. I had to clean up a rental property that needed A LOT of cleaning and painting before the new tenants could move in. MA Painters did a fantastic job with the painting and ended up helping me out with other things that randomly came up. They were clean, respectful, on time and professional. I have also used them at my own home. I had to move furniture to a different floor (I am expecting and couldn't do it on my own) and needed some paint repairs on walls and trims. They were so helpful and did an excellent job. These are definitely my go-to guys! I highly recommend them.

Really well.... We were repainting the whole inside of the house and doing all of the hardwood floors over. Marcello organized the work schedule so that things got done efficiently and in the fastest way possible .I didn't have to do a thing. They moved all of the furniture, took everything off the walls and covered and protected it. The arrived at the same time each day - with notice of who was coming as there were a few different vendors hired. Marcello stopped by each and every day to check on things and answer any questions and concerns and to sometimes work alongside his people if needed. He was only a phone call away and was always immediately responsive... not matter what time of the day or night. When they were done, they had taken photos, so they knew where everything belongs and put everything back in it's original place. I highly recommend Marcello and MA painting for almost any project you might be thinking about.
