Fernando and another man just came from this company and shoveled. It was the most pleasant experience I have ever had with a contractor or a landscaper. Fernando and the other gentleman were quick, efficient and so polite! I will definitely be using Mass Painters and Remodeling for more than just snow removal.

MA Painters and Remodelers delivered a high quality of craftsmanship and detail to the job. They were easy to communicate with, and their crew was focused and committed, as well as discrete. They were extremely thorough with touch-ups and thoughtful about sequence of other jobs that needed to get done in the house (additional flooring, gutter and carpeting). I am glad to have found a contractor that is now our "go to" for many different things.

I found MA Painters and Remodeling on Angie's List. After reading all the positive reviews we accepted their bid to paint the entire inside of our house in July. Fernando and his crew did an amazing job and went above and beyond until I was satisfied. Marc the owner visited almost daily and made sure everything was on target. What started as just painting turned into putting up two walls, constructing a master closet, hanging multiple chandeliers, installing flat screens, remodeling a fireplace, renovating the kitchen (including new countertops), appliances, vent for the stove, new sink and hardware. No task was too big or small. Mark always has great input and design ideas. He is very easy to work with and he continually alleviated any worries I had. He stands behind his work and makes sure his clients are happy. With so many horror stories about contractors he is truly a rare find. He is warm and friendly and genuinely cares about his clients and their happiness with the end product. With that being said I have just signed a contract with MA Painters and Remodeling to renovate our basement and I am looking forward to the entire process.

The work went great. The house has wood floors throughout. You cannot tell the old floors from the new floors. They rebuffed the old floors as well. They did more work in 5 days than I have ever seen any contractor get done and the quality is fantastic. Highly recommend. This company can do anything around the house!

very well both jobs were done when we were away on vacation on two different occasions When we returned from vacation on both times we found everything in order and we were very pleased with the work. It was like coming home to a new house and regret that we did not take the initiative to do the work years ago as now the house is much more pleasant to live in. We found Marc and his team very polite, trustworthy and professional. We are very grateful that we joined Angie's List and found Ma Painters. Last but not lease their prices are reasonable.

We had a pretty big job and were able to get a quote quickly. They even started sooner than they originally quoted. Between the interior and exterior, it took around 2 weeks in total for completion and the crew was pleasant and respectful. They were flexible when we had some last minute additions and gave some great advice. They also fixed anything that didn't come out perfectly or to our standards. You can tell they care about their customers and want the best for them. I will definitely be using them to finish our basement and other projects around the house.

The work went very well. The people were easy to work with, made informed recommendations when we asked about choices, and did the work on the schedule they said they would. The workers were very friendly. The team leader came by several times a day to check on things and touch base with us, We were able to communicate by email when needed, with prompt email responses -- even on weekends. We originally had a quote from another painter, and it was around the same price. During the project, there were a few items that came up that were not in the original scope of the contract. We and the owner discussed them. Some were done at no extra cost, some were quoted as extra, which seemed fair. The owner came by several times during the project, and he scheduled a visit after the work was done to make sure we were happy. He agreed to address several small issues we had, which they did. In summary, we found MA Painters to be highly competent and easy to work with.

Some parts of the job came out great, others I had to redo myself as they continuously failed to return calls or appear on their scheduled times to address the issues. Throughout the work the teams would also often not show up for weeks on end or would leave abruptly. Job was supposed to take 3 days but was barely completed in about 2 months.

I purchased an Angie's List deal for 16 hours of exterior painting services from these guys back in March 2016. At first, they responded very quickly to schedule *interior* painting services. But when I pointed out that this was for exterior painting services, they pretty much stopped responding to scheduling requests, either through Angie's List or their direct e-mail. Finally, in April, they suggested June 14. I sat around all day waiting for them, and they never showed up. Finally, they responded to e-mail to say that something had gone wrong with their Angie's List scheduling, and that they'd get back to me by the end of the week with alternate dates. They never did.

I asked MA Painters for an estimate on hardwood floor refurbishment, wallpaper removal, and painting. They came and did their measurements and gave me an estimate very promptly. Their estimate was significantly lower than one I got from another contractor. The wallpaper and painting part of the job was more than I expected but MA Painters was able to explain to me in detail what's involved and why it cost as much as it did. I decided to do the wallpaper removal and painting myself and only asked them to refurbish the floor. Before the job began MA Painters told me that some parts of the floor appear to have deep water stains that a refurbishment won't be able to remove and I really appreciated the heads up. They did a good job on time and on budget. I'd definitely work with them again when the need arises.

They did painting. I think that while the job was going on I had told them what my priorities were and they saved those for the very end of the job to do. And it was rushed. I just purchased them for one day so they were only able to do one coat. They covered a lot but I still had to go back and do the second coat everywhere myself so I maybe would have liked further communication on what could have been done in the future so I wasn't required to do 50% of the work myself. He didn't tell me until they were getting ready to go that they wouldn't be back to do a second coat or that they could only do one coat a day. He did a good job, I'm happy with how it turned out it was just a little more work myself.

Highly recommend this service provider. MA Painters was top notch throughout the process. From the estimate to the contract negotiation to the scheduling of the work through to the performance of the actual work, MA Painters and Remodeling was fantastic. Marc told me they'd start the beginning of May and that the job would be approx. 9 days. He showed up exactly when he said he would (communicating with me by email throughout the period between when we signed the contract and when he showed up to do the work) and the job took exactly as long as he predicted - 9 days. The team was incredibly efficient and good at their job. They cleaned up after themselves very carefully each day and were a pleasure to have around the house. Very nice people and committed to doing a great job for us. Fernando was our crew manager and he was great, as was Marco and the others that worked with him. The quality of the work was excellent and the entire team was very responsive to feedback, direction and questions throughout the process. When I had a concern about the type of paint that they were using, Marc brought the Sherwin Williams sales rep out to my house to consult face to face about what made the most sense for my house. Wow! Not many painters would take the time to do that. The carpentry work that was also done as part of this job was very impressive too. And coordination with the office through Grace was quick and easy. Her ability to respond to emails within minutes was appreciated. We look forward to using MA Painters again in the future and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others.

This company has misstated many of the facts. When I purchased the deal, they sent me a message. This is the message I was sent:"Dear client, thank you for purchasing our DEAL for 16 hours of labor.Please provide us your address, and a description of what you need done within these 16 hours.Please note that you are responsible for all materials and supplies, in exception of drop cloths and brushes, including any rollers or caulking.Shall you want to purchase additional hours, this can be done at a rate of $45 per men hour. For exterior work, a few may applied for painting of surfaces above two stories.We will revert to you within the next couple of days with possible scheduling days.Thank you and regards,MA Painters & Remodeling Management" I replied the same day with the information they requested and a question about re glazing the windows in the barn. Their response was as follows: "we do window re glazing, but not as part of the deal- usually it costs around $100 per window.As part of the painting, you will likely want it to be power-washed, but this is not included as part of the deal- if you would like this done, we can schedule an estimate." Because they offered to schedule an estimate for the power washing and said that they would likely need to do that before they repainted (this was not stated in their deal), I agreed for them to come out to give us a quote, as they suggested should be done. After approximately a week awaiting a reply, they asked me for a picture and approximate measurements for the barn, which I sent them. After waiting, I asked them if they had a time they wanted to come out and also asked if they would do some wood repair prior to painting and the response was the following (this was now about 2 weeks from original purchase of the deal): "Not yet- I will get back to you by end of this week. I will quote you on any additional for power washing and painting- the wood repair I would need to see in person and can schedule some time within the next two weeks.Exterior work is currently being scheduled for Mid May." I said in reply "Ok, Sounds good." 7 days after this (and about 3 weeks after our original purchase of the deal) I received this reply from them:"I can schedule you for June 11 or May 28- my apologies but I have been very busy at the current time but will get back to you regarding the additional work.I just would like to secure a date for you." I replied to this by saying: "Hi--neither weekend you proposed works for us as we have plans for both of those weekends. Is there any possibility of doing it during the week? And if you are power washing and filling or replacing any rotten wood before staining, when would you do that?Regarding timing, we would like to have it done no later than the end of June. Please advise. Please let me know as soon as possible if you cannot complete the work by the end of June. This has been quite some time in scheduling and if you cannot do the work, then we will have to get a refund and have someone else do it. We are happy to have you do it, but can't drag out this scheduling. Thanks." As you can see, there were no threats of bad reviews for not doing the work in the time frame, just the need to get someone else to do the work if it would not be feasible for this company in this time frame. The company replied:"I can definitely have it done in early to mid June. I will send you an exact date shortly.What is your schedule like to meet Marc next week so he can see the entire work scope?" We then emailed back and forth cordially about a date for Marc to come out to view it to give an estimate and ended on a mutually agreeable time. However, Marc did not come out at the mutually agreeable time and the rest is as already described by me. Frankly, there were no threatening messages exchanged (other than my saying toward the end of this transaction after multiple cancelled appointments, an unscheduled visit to my house and no estimate or date scheduled for painting that I was going to leave an honestly bad review based on my experience) and it was not until they scheduled and cancelled last minutes 2 appointments with me--appointments they suggested we do--that I expressed my displeasure with how they were proceeding and asked them to quote what they had seen needed to be done (after wandering around my property without prior notice) or let us hire someone else and I would leave an honest review about our experience (which is what I did). The service provider never provided us a quote for the carpentry or power washing they said we likely needed after stringing us along for over a month, suggesting we make appointments for which they did not show. My reply to their voicemail message cancelling the 2nd appointment last minute and telling me that the gentleman had come without my knowledge the prior day and suggested some carpentry was:"I have received your voice message and tried to call you back multiple times today but you don't pick up and your mailbox is full. What sort of carpentry does your person suggest for the barn? The point of my scheduling a time to meet with your guy was so we could look at the barn and go over it together and discuss it while we are looking at it. I reserved a time slot on Friday to do so. I'm not going to send you photos of what I want repaired because the point was to discuss it together to see what your person thought should be repaired. I'm not pleased that he showed up on Thursday and he looked at it without me (it also is not ok for people to wander around my property without advance notice or permission). Please advise what he suggests. Thank you." To this they responded:"My apologies regarding the inconvenience but I never had a problem before with looking at the exterior of the house for a work the owner was interested in doing while the owner was not there- but I understand.There are some rotten pieces of wood he suggests having replaced, but apparently through your message you would rather go over it in person.I could have the crew simply complete the 16 hours purchased but you have more work than the 16 hours including power washing and carpentry.But I will find a slot on Marc's agenda to be back next week and speak to you in person." I replied:"Ok--the point of scheduling the meeting was so that I can go over with him in person what would be good to do and then you can price it out. Yes, I have a huge issue that I arranged my schedule around meeting him twice and he came out when I wasn't here, since I wasn't booking my work for when we were scheduled. And I have animals and other hazards on the property, so not every property is safe for someone to be wandering around uninvited. At the very least you should give a heads up that someone is coming. It's rude and could be very dangerous to go to a property without letting someone know you are coming. He was also going to price power washing. What is it he suggests that be done for power washing and carpentry and what is the price for it? As far as I know there aren't any rotten pieces of wood. It would be good if he could have pointed it out. There is some wood that a wood pecker has pecked at and some pieces that have been worn by horses. Where did he think there were rotten pieces of wood? The problem with him coming out is it prolongs this discussion and likely he will have to come out again to discuss. At this point I'm about ready to ask for a refund and go with someone else. We've been trying to nail down what you are going to do and when you are going to schedule for a month and we have to have this work done by the end of June. Please advise (1) what will be done in addition to the staining, (2) whether you provide the stain and if so what stain it will be, (3) what power washing and repair you propose before beginning the staining and painting of the windows and (4) when you can schedule the job. If I don't have an complete answer on all of this by Wednesday, we will be asking for a refund. Thank you. And at this point I'm not willing to rearrange my schedule for a 3rd time around Marc coming out. I had a block slated for him to come both Tuesday and this Friday and he didn't come. That;s not my fault. I've already arranged my schedule 2ce around him coming out and at this point it would be very rude for you to ask me to arrange it for a 3rd time around him coming out. Have him call me or please provide a response here. Honestly, if we can't wrap this up very soon this is going toward a very bad Angie's List review. Just being honest here. I've never had anyone set up actual times to meet and then show up on my property at some other time instead and the amount of time this has taken to get quoted and scheduled is bordering on the ridiculous. If you guys have something to redeem yourself here in terms of a review, now would be the time to do it." At this point we had been going back and forth with these folks for a month after we had bought the deal and we still were no closer to having a quote for the additional work nor getting scheduled. We were already at the end of April. The company replied:"would you like to set up another appointment or not? I am sure you will be pleased with our services and you can feel free to attest through our current reviews.If so I I'll be glad to set up an appointment- I am not sure that messages would be the best way to communicate- and honestly, your very bad Angie's list review as you mentioned would not be true to our services and quality we would like to offer you.So if you can provide us with the opportunity I will set up an appointment." I replied:"Listen, we have already set up 2 appointments--neither of which did you keep. Everything I would say in my Angie's list review would be 100% true, including the fact that it's taken over a month to get anything scheduled or quotes for additional work and that you didn't keep the 2 appointments we scheduled and instead came to my house unscheduled and without permission

Fernando and his crew are top-notch professionals. We had some major paint and repair work we needed done, and they did an incredible job. Their attention to detail, work ethic, and courtesy reflect a level of customer service rarely experienced today. The team ensured that all of our needs were met and went far above and beyond expectations, even taking extra time for a last minute request for additional work. Despite the considerable amount of sheetrock work that needed to be done, Fernando and his team ensured that the floors, furniture, and counters were well covered. They were incredibly clean and careful... at the end of each work day, everything was in such perfect order, that you would never know work was being done! Fernando was well organized and consistently updated us with progress and a great follow up summary when the work was completed. We wholeheartedly recommend MA Painters and Remodeling and they are our now remodeling contractor of choice... ask for Fernando!

Fernando and crew were great. they were professional, neat and went beyond our expectations.

They were professional and showed up on time and did amazing work on everything I asked. I will need more painting done in a couple of weeks and I will have them back to do that. Also, they do remodeling and I may have them back to quote out work I need done in the bathroom. I could not be happier with the work done and everyone that came over the weekend commented how much nicer the fireplace looks. They were maticulous on their painting of the fireplace getting in every nook and cranny to ensure nothing showed through. I can't say enough good about the work they did.

It took a while to make the appointment with MA Painters who took a while to contact us after we bought the coupon. They did not have many scheduling days available and with our busy schedule it was not easy to figure out. We were finally able to schedule a time before their busy season started. We found them professional, punctual and hardworking. They were responsive to our requests including moving a heavy breakfront and moving it back. The painting job was done well. We had heard from the office ahead of time that we would need to buy the supplies which we did ahead of time although we did not know that we needed to buy rollers which we did the day of.

Excellent. A little back and forth to get scheduled and then they showed up right on time, Fernando reviewed the job, explained how many workers would be working for how long to fulfill the terms of the contract--fairly calculated--and returned occasionally during the day to check in. Beautiful job doing mantel trim in our front hall--impeccable edges; they sanded where necessary on the doors and did two coats of oil-based paint. Cleanup was impeccable, workers were pleasant and responsive.

Great! They came in, moved furniture, covered everything and painted the entire room in 16 man hours! Good edges, great coverage, quick workers, cleaned after.

Marc and his crew were professional and speedy, and did all of the above described remodeling tasks at my garden-level studio in just over 3 weeks ( Jan 5 through Feb 1), 2 weeks of which I was out of the country. Marc was responsive and good with updating me even while I was abroad. We increased the scope of the work during the remodel (due to encountering some extra pipes during demolition), and also Marc convinced me (rightly so) that this was a good time to upgrade the fireplace as well. I am glad we went ahead with the fireplace remodel, because Marc did an excellent job and it has become a beautiful feature of the studio. He and his gang really transformed the place in a good way. Marc obviously prides himself in quality work - and there are details like wall and shelf trims that I could trust him to make beautiful. Even after the finish of the project, Marc has been responsive and following up with me with some aspects (e.g. fixing a vintage exhaust fan in the bathroom). I highly recommend Marc and his group for any comprehensive remodeling work!
