Although it's all legal, these guys are crafty and their service - especially with regard to the MLS is a bit confusing - so let me net it out for you in my opinion: 1- list your house with the option for a premium listing that includes a for sale sign and MLS listing. OK - I get it. 2- after you choose the MLS service, you get a call from some real estate agent that is retained by Isoldmyhouse.com asking you how nuch you want to pay as a percentage of your house sale price. Really? I thought I paid the fee already. Nope. I was told very rudely that you can list it - but "nobody will see it unless you agree to pay around 4% ... " Like I said, it is probably in the legal pages - i am sure it is all on the up and up -- but don't think for a minute the premium service is worth it, in my opinion. We got more traction buying a sign ourselves and sticking it on the front lawn. There are better ways to list a house yourself. Again - in my opinion. And - our house is sold!
Description of Work: Listing of home for sale by owner. Paid the premium listing price to include listing on MLS (multiple listing service). I am a tech-savvy business owner, and the only easy thing about this service is paying for it.

After several attempts, I did get my for sale by owner listing up. The initally set it up for the wrong town and then the password did not work (for me to enter my information). It was never listed on MLS, which is what I paid for. They apparently don't have any live customer service agents, in spite of what their web page indicates. They don't reply to messages left. No reply about getting a refund or getting the listing I paid for. Addendum I finally was contacted by a human, who was very helpful. She assured me that all would e taken care of, as soon as they get needed forms. Review was changed to B
Description of Work: When you actually make a purchase, website skips around and does not allow you to track what you have purchased. I paid $399 for a special offer for 1 year MLS and for sale by owner listing--the later is free.

The salesman was extremely quick to respond to my inquiry about their services and convinced me to purchase a package costing me $1,995. Confirmation of the transaction was very vague and did not describe the extras promised in the phone call. Pricing on their site is equally vague. There was no follow-up and no contact person provided so you was pretty much left to figure out the process for myself. I tried to contact the salesman several times, but received no response to numerous voicemails and emails. It took six weeks to finally get the house listed on MLS and featured on the home page of the website. As a result my timetable was delayed considerably. The MLS listing provided some initial interest, but the website, lawn sign, TV show and magazine resulted in NO contacts. I received many more inquiries from my other online ad than I did from the isoldmyhouse.com ad. I would advise people to stay away from this service. There is no service after the sale. I wasted $1,995.00 and 2 1/2 months. I am now listed with a realtor and will have to spend much more money in addition to the money already wasted on this folly.
Description of Work: Isoldmyhouse.com provides advertising services to home sellers in the For Sale by Owner (FSBO) segment of the real estate market. Various packages are available from a free listing on their site to a full-blown advertising campaign. I purchased a package which was to include my home being featured on the home page, State page, County page, and town page of the website as well as 4 weeks on their televised infomercial. The package also included a listing-only entry in the Multiple Listings Service (MLS).
