ELTON MAGOON

The gutters look terrific. Elton agreed to come by on the 16th to clean the gutters but realized when he arrived that he'd never given us a quote, so he called, gave the quote and came back to do the work the next day. All the gutters we can see from our windows look terrific and I assume the rest of them are equally pristine.

Called back promptly to schedule, arrived on time, explained the job and some options, completed the work smoothly. Overall an excellent experience.

Excellent! Other than the initial phone call, all communication was through email and I was even able to pay through Paypal (a first for me working with any type of contractor). The pricing was excellent and service was prompt. I'm planning to have Elton do other properties this fall based on my first experience. I would highly recommend his services.

I had a little trouble connecting with Elton. At first his voicemail explained he was too busy to take new cases, but they got back to me after a few days and were very professional and apologized. I got 4 quotes, and Elton was the only one who came out to the house to see the work before giving an itemized quote. He showed up when he said he would, ran hoses to test the gutters when they were done. They were fast and left the area very clean. They also repaired the leaking endcap and reattached a downspout with new holes. The next time it rained, I noticed that it was all running well, except (during the storm) the same spot at the endcap dripped (before it was dripping even when sunny). So I called Elton and he came out shortly after to check it out. I was very pleased with their work.

Elton returned my call shortly after I left a message and we arranged a time for him to do the work; we didn't need to be home, and he simply left an invoice in my mailbox. He cleaned the gutters completely and even made a minor repair to one (at no cost) and deducted the 10% Angie's List discount from the bill. A pleasure to deal with!

Elton called right back after I left a message for him despite the fact he was booked up for the next two weeks(which his recording stated-nice touch). He is extremely professional and responsive. He said he would be at my house at 10:00 and he was right on time, gave a great estimate and performed the work immediately. I've had gutter cleaners in the past who had leaves and gunk everywhere in the yard but not Elton, clean and neat as can be. You would never know he was ever there and I have plants, shrubs and a vegetable garden to maneuver around. Use Elton, he's clearly the best in the business.

It was fine - Elton was very responsive and efficient and that's one less thing on my "to do" list! Out house is a large two family and the roofline is VERY high off the ground, so I'm happy to have a professional take care of this type of work.

I called and left a message which was promptly returned. Elton swung by my house while I was at work and gave me an estimate. I called back to tell him to proceed and he was there that day. The work area was clean with no trace that he had been there after his cleanup. He noticed that we had some rotten rafter tails which he also gave me an estimate to fix. Gave a brief description of the work done and what he recommended we get done with the invoice he left. He was right on his estimate.

I called Elton, he returned my call within a day and scheduled me in for a gutter cleaning the same week. The day he was scheduled to come, I took my dog out for a long walk and when I came back the gutters had already been cleaned and the invoice left for me, he even automatically included an angie's discount. The process couldn't have been any easier!

Great experience. Elton called back with several hours, gave resonable estimates and did everything very well. Difficult not to recommend him.

He was great. I called and his wife called me back the same. She told me they had a terrible house fire and couldn't do any work for a month. She was very nice, and he actually called me back a few weeks later and let me know he was taking on work again. He came out with his brother for an estimate, and he said they could go ahead and clean the gutters, that same which he did. Some of the gutters had caps on them so he didn't charge the full amount. He was really honest about that, and I thought that was very commendable. He even made me aware of some repairs that needed to be done. He is very knowledgable and very pleasant.

Everything went very well. They came the day after I called which was very convenient. They also made a small repair which I greatly appreciated.

He was very good. The good thing was that after the job was done, he told me about some of the problems which were very helpful. He spotted a roof problem and I was grateful to him because that saved me from ceiling damage. The work went well and they did very efficiently. I was very pleased with them. They cleaned up nicely. They came when they said they were going to come and they did it. I would hire them again if I needed to.

It was very good. He showed up a little early. He was a very nice guy to work with and very patient. I thought he did a nice job. He had to leave at one point to do something else, and he came back later in the day. He was pretty thorough in diagnosing issues and suggesting some things that needed to be done. He was a pleasure to work with and his rates were reasonable. He was very professional.

Mr. Magoon came to give an estimate and was able to clean the gutters that same day. I have a 1952 ranch house with aluminum gutters and downspouts, neither of which had been cleaned in a while. He did a very thorough job and when it poured the next day, the gutters and downspouts ran clear. Mr. Magoon is a very nice young man. He cleaned up well after he finished. The job took about 1 hour.

So far so good! We're pleased . . . no more torrential downpours or overflows. Time will tell whether or not the downpipe filters were a good idea . . .

Elton provided a very reasonable estimate to remove and replace gutter screens in order to clean the gutters. Elton was very prompt and did a thorough job of cleaning up after cleaning the gutters. We would recommend using Elton again.

Elton was prompt in delivering an estimate to repair a leaking downspout. He then arrived promptly to complete the job yesterday. His work was clean and he was professional. It rained last night and the new downspout works very well. We have hired Elton to provide on-going maintenance to our gutters; cleaning and repairs as needed. Nice job Elton!!

Elton is simply outstanding. Did everything he said he would, was neat, clean, and careful. Very professional, friendly, prompt, etc.

Elton arranged a time for an estimate, came as scheduled, checked out the gutters, then gave me an estimate and explained the work he'd be doing. He would call us in advance to let us know he was coming although we didn't need to be present for him to work. In the process of cleaning the gutters he found some leaky spots and offered to tar them for us. Due to the excessive amount of rain this summer, he wasn't able to complete the job for about three weeks since the gutters needed to be dry at various stages, but he faithfully came back and completed the job as soon as the weather cleared. Elton was always pleasant and professional and let us know how the job was going.

He showed up quickly to give us an estimate, which was reasonable and in keeping with the other estimates. He was so nice in person that I decided to go with him. He came when he said he would, completed the job, fixed an annoying downspout that I hadn't been able to secure and gave us an Angie's List discount! I will definitely use him next time.
