Did an excellent job and completed the agreed scope in a timely manner.

Brian came and gave me an estimates . It was much lower than the other four estimates. I called him and gave him the job, keeping in mind beware of the lowest bidder, boy was I wrong. His crew came in and cut down and stripped all the trunks, left one trunk for me cut to fireplace lengths. Then the big carrier came in and removed all the remaining trunks. Then the stump grinder came over and did his job. After all that was finished then Brian's crew came in and cleaned up.

Stop your search, Brian Murphy is the guy for the job. He came by and gave me a quote the same day I called him. A few weeks later (I had a flexible schedule) he called to come by and remove 4 trees varying in height. Dropped them just as he said he would and left me with some fire wood and cleaned up the rest. Great guy to work with, I am recommending him to anyone I know that needs tree service. Honest price, honest work, great results, what more can you ask for?

It was dropped exactly where needed. I opted to do the clear up to save some money, but he also offers that service.

As one other reviewer said, "stop your search" this is the guy to do the job. I contacted Brian, and he came out right away to look at the job. Spent time reviewing the job and deciding what type of equipment would be needed. Very personable and easy to talk to. Simply put, just a good guy and very easy to work with. I called 3 other tree companies to get quotes. One came out, but never got back to me with pricing. The second came highly recommended by my neighbor, and was responsive and I'm sure would have done a good job. I selected Brian because he gave me the best price right on the spot and I liked him. I also felt secure with his perfect A ratings from Angie's List. I gave Brian the job at that time, and he contacted me about a week later to advise when he would be able to start. At the scheduled day ( Friday) he and his crew showed up on time with a crane and cut down three of the trees. It was then determined that a larger crane would be required to take care of the other 4 trees and he would do that on Monday. No problem. In the mean time the stump guy came by on Sat. and did the stump grind. On Monday, the larger crane showed up with Brian and his crew and finished the job. Later that day, the truck came by and picked up the logs and hauled them away. The next day Brian and one of his crew guys came by and did some final clean up work. Every detail of clean up was taken care of. For the overall job, every thing was right on schedule. No surprises. His crew was outstanding, and Brian is right there on the job working just as hard as his crew. This was the first time I ever had tree work done on the property and it was quite a show as to how they work together with the guy in the tree, crane operator and then ground crew cutting and chipping. I'm now thinking of taking some more trees down next Spring, and will definitely do away with getting quotes and simply call Brian. No need to mess with a good thing. Thanks Brian and your crew.

Brian was terrific, start to finish! I especially liked that he was on-sight doing the work with his crew. I have had other contract work done where the owner gives the estimate but doesn't participate in the work. I feel there is more investment in quality work when the owner is a part of the work team. Brian returned calls by the end of the day ( because remember, he is out there working during the day!). We added another tree to the work assignment and he was very accommodating. They used a bucket truck, dropped the trees with spot-on accuracy and even hung my wire ham radio antenna for me as a favor! When the time comes to remove more trees, I would not hesitate to call Brian to help us out again. We opted to keep the trees for our own firewood and they cut the trees in segments that will fit our wood stove. (we will split the wood ourselves). They chipped the branches and we will use it for our own compost. He offered to haul it all away, but we declined. Thank you Brian and Crew for a job well done!

Brian was a dream to work with. He is knowledgeable, professional, and efficient. The crew worked in a beautifully orchestrated dance of crane, chainsaw, chipper and racks. It was amazing to watch the precision and care that each member of the team demonstrated. I would hire Brian again in an instant. He was a delight to work with.

Everything went great. We wanted a whole bunch of trees cut down from our new home prior to moving in. Brian was very accommodating of our schedule. He was also a pleasure to work with, very responsive and easy to talk to. His quote was much lower than another quote I had received. His guys took down smaller trees on one day. They came back with the crane to do the big trees a second day. Then came a third day to grind stumps and cleanup. No issues with anything, stuck to the plan. I would definitely use this company for future work and would recommend to others.

Awesome....Brian and his crew worked extremely hard moving, cutting, raking up debris and shreading remaining branches. They were so nice throughout the assignment and extremely professional. I would recommend them to not just to my friends and neighbors but even my own mother who is hard to please. They all did a fabulous job indeed. I can rest peacefully knowing the tree branches he cut off my roof won't end up inside my home. If you are looking for a job well done you should call this guy and his crew they know what they are doing and get the job done.

Stop your search! This guy is the best there is. I met with four tree guys before I decided who would handle our project. Brian was the last one I met with and I knew I knew he was our guy. He presented the best - very professional and well spoken. He was in no rush during our initial consult answered all my questions. He even took the time to answer all the questions my three year old son had regarding the project. :-) His price was much better than his competitors, which surprised me because he was so much more impressive to meet with, I thought for sure he would be really expensive. He was able to come within a week. His insurance information was emailed to me within a couple days, even though I never requested it. He and his crew showed up exactly when they said they would and worked tirelessly to take down all of the trees from my front yard. Everyone of his crew members were very polite and courteous. They were very respectful of my lawn, sidewalk and driveway and took all necessary precautions to protect them. The logs were removed from our property the very next day. Brian and one of his crew members returned when the trees were gone and cleaned up the yard....for hours. They were not happy until every twig had been removed and every leaf was gone. I was so impressed and so were all my neighbors. This was a wonderful experience and I am so thankful we hired this company to take care of our tree project. We will certainly have them back to grind the stumps when we are ready!

I was very pleased with the performance of Brian's company. He returned my call, we agreed on a start date, and I signed a contract.He arrived on the date with his crew , they were all excellent, and performed the work over a day and 1/2. Brian laid plywood over the area his equipment would traverse to prevent any damage. Brian's equipment is top notch!! I would use his service in the future.

After the winter storm in October, 2011, Brian was the first to return my phone call after the storm hit. He was able to provide an estimate and remove the trees three days after I met with him. He also assisted removing a tree in my neighbor's yard where he spent considerable time making sure he did not dig up the neighbor's grass as he removed the tree. Brian was very professional, and arrived at my house on time, which was fairly remarkable seeing he was very busy (like everyone else) cleaning up after the storm. I definitely recommend his services. I will use his services again.

Difficult to get a hold off. But once the job was started he and his crew got it done very quickly. Professional and courteous.

Overall it went very smoothly. We obtained quotes from two other tree services in addition to Brian, both of which were well recommended on Angie's List. We don't know much about trees so we asked their advice on what needed to be done. Brian's advice was generally consistent with the others - we liked the fact that none of the three tried to push us into doing more than necessary - but Brian's quote was much lower than the other two. Although (unlike the other two) he is not a certified arborist, he has about 20 yrs experience, he seemed knowledgeable and responsive. He was recommended by our neighbor so we decided to go with him. He gave us a written quote on the spot, including a sketch map of our yard to ensure that we were agreed on exactly what work was to be done. He also gave us a copy of his insurance policy in advance of the work. The job itself went smoothly. Brian had a team of (I think) 4 people, whom he supervised throughout. He warned us that they would have to demolish a small fence to get the machines into a tight space, but in general the damage to the lawn and beds was minimal and anticipated. They protected the exposed surfaces with wood boards. Two old flagstones were broken by a falling log, but Brian offered to replace these at no cost. Clean up was thorough. Although the wood chipper failed at one point, leaving a big pile of unmulched branches at the end of day 1, it was fixed by day 2 and everything was finished on schedule. At our request, they cut the logs into sections for firewood at no extra cost. They would also have split them for an additional charge ($300 for about 1 or 1.5 cords), but we'll probably rent a splitter and do this ourselves.
