Leonardo came to see the projects first and then made recommendations on how to do the projects so they'd have a very professional finish. He researched the special ball clips needed, measured for the lumber, and came on the day specified on time with all the materials needed. He brought another carpenter to finish the work promptly. Everything was done perfectly and I'm super satisfied with the work. He's a perfectionist and he seemed to enjoy the challenge of an unusual project. He's very nice to work with -- he listened carefully to what I wanted and was very interested in making sure I was satisfied with the work. I've asked him to give me an estimate on some additional exterior work and hope to use him again.

Mr. Parreira did this job himself. He arrived on time, was most courteous and eager to perform the tasks. He took care to do the work correctly and thoroughly. He was respectful of the home. We would definitely be interested in having him perform work in the future.

Leo the owner of the company gave me a good estimate,ordered the window and promptly installed it when it was convenient to me. The paneling was done the same day.

I purchased $149 for four hours of general repair work from AdvancedRemodeling & Renovation in Marlboro, MA on 8 Feb 2012. After many emails andmuch frustration, I asked for a refund. He finally scheduled a repair dateand then emailed that morning to tell me an employee got hurt the nightbefore and he was cancelling. I tried to set another and he said he couldcome the next afternoon, after I had asked for just a couple days notice, asI am a single parent and cannot just take time off that quickly. I emailedmany times and he did not answer many of them. He seems like a nice enoughguy, just not able handle the work in a responsive and organized manner.

All of the work was done well, and he even re-grouted the entire surround of the bathroom window, not just the broken tile area. He was knowledgeable and professional and we would use him again.

He was thoughtful about his approach and the outcome was excellent. he was on top of details, like having to leave small heating vents int he floor uncovered. This was an Angies list big deal so the pricing was very good.

Advanced remodeling ran the wires within my base boards with very minimal damage. In fact you couldn't even tell when they were finished that they had removed baseboards, cutting into the wall where you wouldn't be able to see it after completion. In addition, they didn't leave a mess at all. I thought I would have to do a lot of patching and painting when they were finished. Instead, at this point in time I think painting is optional and it would only be to cover the very few tiny nails that could be seen in the baseboard after they were reattached. The job took 6 hours. However, given how careful they were it was well worth it.

Bought coupon from Angie's list for discount on 4 hours of labor. Contacted Leo and within days, he was at the house to look at the projects and provided an estimate of work. When we were ready to proceed, I contacted him and set up a day for the work to be done. Leo arrived at the house before his crew and went over the project again with us to verify where we wanted the attic access installed and the new bathroom ceiling fan. We had to leave for a couple of hours, but when we got back, the crew was onsite and the work was in progress. Crew was very nice and worked hard to complete the job. Leo came back later in the afternoon to check on the crew and to help them with the final touches. When it came down to just a one man job, Leo took the rest of the crew to work on another project.... so I didn't have to pay for somebody to watch somebody else work. It was a very messy job because of the blown in insulation, but the crew did a great job of keeping it contained and swept up the house before they left. A couple of hours after the crew left, Leo came to the house to make sure that we were satisfied with the job and to go over the details on the completion of the window trim. Once the window trim job has been completed, I will update my posting. Everyone was courteous and professional. Leo responds to emails and answers his cell phone, so you can contact him easily.

Signed up for handyman service via Angies List Deal coupon and paid immediately.? After a week or so I emailed asking to make an appointment.? A few days later I received a response stating they are busy and will contact me in a couple weeks. Ok no prob.? A month later I contacted them asking for an appointment. A few days later heard back, lets setup for Saturday 8 am. Alright.? Friday night got a call asking to reschedule to Sat afternoon. Ok I can adjust my day this time.? 30 min prior to the appt I receive a voice mail stating I live too far away from them. Too much to spend in gas. It isnt worth it to them and please contact Angies list for a refund.? Really? Throughout these conversations scheduling and rescheduling over the course of 60 days you just now figure this out??

Estimate was prompt We discussed our door options We looked at different products and then told Leo the one we wanted to order Leo came to our home with the sales representative to make sure the order was placed properly Leo and employee installed the door and sidelights, did the touch up painting inside, and did the exterior siding and trim around the door. Leo and employee also installed an "eyebrow" over the garage doors. They constructed it and the finished product is a big improvement. They were professional, courteous, responsive, and did a quality job. We had a plumbing problem at the same time and they kindly put us in touch with a plumber who was of equally fine quality.

It was a great experience. Leonardo and his assistant showed up for the job. Leonardo left to supervise another job and his assistant stayed behind to finish mine. When completed, his assistance called Leonardo to have the work inspected. Leonardo made one change before leaving. I am happy with the work.

Leonardo was fairly responsive when trying to set up the appointment. He sent an email invitation that directly goes into my calendar which was nice. The day of the original appointment the weather was bad and he had to cancel. He sent an email about 40 minutes before the appointment. Perhaps he should have called as well but it was quite early (7:20 am) so I can understand if he was reluctant to call that early. We re-scheduled for the next morning. Leonardo's helper was there early but Leonardo himself arrived ~15 minutes late. Not a big deal to me but he was not promptly on time. We went over the jobs with Leonardo and his helper (forgot the name). Then Leonardo left and his helper got to work. He was very good, asking questions when he was unsure about exact locations of where I wanted things. He kind of made a mess of the plaster wall when he took out the electrical outlets but someone had glued them to the wall so there wasn't much he could do. He did re-spackle the damaged part of the wall at the end of the job and offered to paint it over if we had some matching paint (we didn't since it was still and old color from the previous owner). He also did a very nice job on the bi-fold door. It was slightly too tall so he had to cur the door down a bit. Also, in the old house nothing is level, including the door frames so he did a good job of getting the bi-fold door as close to level as possible to ensure it slid open and closed easily. At the end of the job he swept up the dust and debris. It was nice, professional work.

It went very well. For details, see above. There were no problems.

. They did a good job of matching the paint around the window including repainting the entire wall. They promised to finish in one day and they stayed until 7 pm mainly due to giving the wall compound time to sufficiently dry. They followed up late the second day to redo a small area they were not satisfied with. They purchased necessary materials and used what leftover paint I had too. They did an excellent job of cleanup and moving furniture as needed. The stairwell work required much sanding and they did a good job of controlling dust and keeping it confined to the work area. I was kept informed of the process and the time it would take.

We are very happy with the job. It was easy to work with him.

Work was excellent with great attention to detail. Very tidy and cleaned up after the job. Would definitely use again.

Leonardo arrived on-time with another man to insulate the steam pipes in our basement. They were professional and courteous and knew exactly what materials to use. The cost seemed fair and reasonable (the main cost was the materials ($600)). I would definitely use them again.

I widened a doorway in our kitchen. Re-framed the wall and put up the sheetrock. I put in the corner bead and the door frame. I was having an issue mudding so that everything looked flat. Hired this company to complete that process for me. They made it clear to me from the get-go that they would not be able to do a final sanding due to the time required to let the joint compound dry. I was ok with that. They put up plastic to contain any dust and went right to work. I could not be happier with the results. A light sanding in 24 hours and then the area is ready to paint. Very happy with the work performed.

The work went very smoothly. Workers showed up when expected, and did a very neat and thorough job. Leo was great about doing the work that was necessary, but not replacing parts that were still in good condition, so he kept our expenses reasonable. He arrived on time and worked carefully and efficiently. He finished our deck exactly when promised and the finished product looked even better than I had hoped. I will absolutely hire him to do any other renovation work that we need in the future.

Project started and finished on time. His approach was well-organized. There was minimal disruption to our day-to-day life in the home. We are very happy with the results of our most recent project, and plan to use Leo for our kitchen this summer.
