 + 0 moreThe owner of the business was extremely professional. He came out to give us a quote the same day we called and we received a quote via email the same day. We ended up going with another vendor due to the cost issue. We received a quote from another company for $ 235.13 for the same job. I would not rule out using NoBul in the future if the price was right. That was really my only complaint.

 + 0 moreThey were very accommodating and were able to schedule someone to come out and provide an analysis and quote on the same day. They were incredibly professional and punctual. However, the price was nearly twice as much as the two subsequent quotes I have since received; which compelled me to write the review. They charge a flat rate once they quote the job, which may be good for larger jobs, although I would suspect they protect themselves when they quote those jobs as well. Regardless, I wouldn't call them again, despite their professionalism and reputation for quality, their cost is prohibitive.

 + -1 moreGreat job with the bath fans, not an easy job for either. switches, outlets and fan light I feel were extremely overpriced. Estimate done at initial day of service, good marketing, it would be more difficult to send them away.

 + -1 moreJoe was about as responsive, punctual, professional and forthright as I've ever experienced an electrician to be. We contacted him on a Friday and he was on the job Monday morning. Wrote up everything he'd do and its exact cost, and then gave us a nice deduction at the end when one part of the job turned out to be simpler than he'd expected. The entire generator install took only a few hours (when we'd been warned by another electrician it might take all day and then some). I'd hire him again in an instant.
Description of Work: Installed a second-hand emergency back-up generator (which we'd bought from an acquaintance, not through him); changed a couple switches that were giving us trouble; advised on other electrical system questions.

Description of Work: Joe, from NoBul Electric and Security gave me an estimate for electrical costs for a new home construction as well as provided me with an estimate for a security system, surround sound and 50" TV's for the new construction. He is so professional and his ideas and information are amazing. He explains everything so well until you understand it. His ideas will save me thousands of dollars. His electrical design for my new home made so much sense and he provided me with ideas that I would have never thought of myself. He is incredibly talented and is a perfectionist. No Bul is literally one stop shopping....and they are awesome. I've also had a previous security system installed by them with monitoring, keyless entry installed, Bose surround sound w/ tv installed and an energy saver installed. I have always been thrilled with their service, PRICE and professionalism. Whether you're installing a light switch or you are spending quite a bit of money, they make you feel like, to them, you are the most important person in the world. Unbelievable service and prices. You just don't see that anymore.

 + -1 moreThe service was phenomenal! Joe,one of the owners, went out of his way to work with us related to the timeline of our POS agreement. He coordinated efforts with NSTAR, even re-scheduling to fit their schedule. The two electricians who did the work were excellent and willing to work around a situation where there were people packing to move as they were working for the prospective buyers. Everything was done efficiently and professionally and we were able to move ahead with our purchase on schedule. The owner of Primetime even went to bat for us to try to get NSTAR to waive the fee for moving the wires. I felt like I was working with someone I had known for years vs. a name I pulled from Angie's list. We got an excellent price on the initial work and plan to have Primetime come back to do additional work. I highly recommend this company.
Description of Work: As a result of a home inspection we couldn't get a mortgage or insurance without getting the electrical box replaced and the wiring to the house rerouted.

 + -1 moreI called and spoke with a representative on the phone. I discussed what I'd like done. At that time we set up an appointment for an electrician to stop by my home on 7/11/13 between the hours of 2pm-4pm. I immediately recieved a confirmation via email..stating the same. Nobody showed. I repeatedly called back that afternoon (and the next day) and there was no answer. Almost three weeks later, there was no explanation as to what happened, and after one more attempt to reach them by phone I gave up. I'm not sure if this company exists any longer.
Description of Work: Called to get an estimate for routine household electrical services, including stringing power to shed for lights, upgrading circuit panel and installation of closet lights.

 + -1 moreThere was a little mix up on the time and Joe took full responsibility fort he mistake and compensated me for my time which was very fair. I was sent a photo of the tech that would be coming to my house. The tech also called prior to his arrival. The tech reviewed the work I was requesting and told me what the price would be. The tech was very professionable, personable, and apologetic for the mix up on the time issue even though it was not his fault. All in all I was very happy with Prime Electric and would use them again.
Description of Work: I needed to have 2 outlets replaced, 1 for my A/C and the one in the bathroom updated.

 + 1 moreWe just purchased this house built in 1929. Very old and extremely hard to wire. It was difficult finding pathways from the basement to the attic. These electricians worked tirelessly over several days to come up with solutions to the problems they encountered daily and found the least invasive ways they could to get through the walls.They were very professional and arrived when they said they would. They wore booties around the house and cleaned up after themselves. They sent email pictures of who was going to arrive that day just so I would feel safe. Overall, I was very impressed with them and their work considering the scope and difficulty of the job. I would use them again and I would certainly recommend them to all of my friends.
Description of Work: The electricians installed receptacles for my new gas dryer, refrigerator and my televisions. They installed lights over the workbenches in the basement. They installed cable and data lines throughout the house. They extended lines such as CAT5, put in new pull chains for lights, installed gang boxes, and so much more.

 + -1 moreI was very impressed by their professionalism. They immediately put on shoe covers each time they came into the house. They were patient as I walked them through the house and explained my "wish list:" of everything that could be done, and reacted with patience and understanding when I decided to actually do less than half of the items on my (very long) list. The day they came was over 90 degrees out, and my house does not have a/c and the oven was on all day. Neither of the men complained at all, and worked cheerfully despite the awful heat. They are coming back next week to finish up some of the items, and so far I am very happy with the work that was completed. I would recommend them.
Description of Work: troubleshooted non-working outlets and repaired, replaced two prong outlets with three prong outlets. The team will be back next week to finish the work and wire and install a ceiling fan

 + -1 moreExcellent, on time, no mess anywhere when he was done and it was not an easy job. Installer had to cut the ceiling because the old fans were not made any longer. Then up into the attic he went to do the wiring on a 90 degree day. Here, to me is a big one, I felt that I could have given Ryan a key to the house and said lock the door when you are done and leave the key on the kitchen table, just had that much trust in him, and believe me I have been around the block, done it all and seen it all.
Description of Work: Installed two bathroom fans in the upstairs of the house that are vented out thru the attic.

Once we agreed on the price quote, he was on his way and performed all of the tasks quickly, quietly and extremely efficiently. If I need electrical work done again I will use PrimeTime Electric based on their service, quality of work and the added bonus of them being a company in my town.

They are great communicators to the point where they send you an email with the picture of the electrician doing the work so there is no doubt about who shows up at your door. Don?t you hate it when tradesmen come into your house with muddy shoes? Well these guys put on shoe covers when they come into your house. It doesn?t matter how many times they need to go in and out. That was much appreciated. They did a great job on cleaning up after themselves. We now have a nice light over the sink and an inviting gazebo to go to. Now if the weather would only cooperate. I would highly recommend them.
Description of Work: We had a fan and light installed in a backyard gazebo. We dug the ditch and provided the fan based on their expert recommendations. We also had an over the sink light fixture replaced.

 + -1 moreRyan is great to work with and checked all of our outlets to confirm if they were grounded, pointed out some concerns over our GFCI outlets that were not tripping correctly, and checked our smoke/carbon monoxide detectors. In addition to explaining the benefits of the GFCI and the concerns over the ones that were not working correctly, he also pointed out that we were missing a carbon monoxide detector in the vicinity of the furnace. I appreciated all of the feedback to help make our house safer. There was no pressure to use them for any of the work. We have used them previously and they do really nice work. The only thing that I hesitate about is their price can be a bit higher than others but they do offer discounts to angie's list members so that helped.
Description of Work: We had a whole house inspection done as part of being in their service plan from other work completed.

 + 2 moreWe first used Prime Time for the installation of a home theatre system. There were two employess who came out and they were both extremely educated and were willing to explain everything that they were doing. Their appearance was clean and professional. I was almost blown over backwards when they put on blue paper shoe covers so they wouldn't get any dirt or debris form their shoes on my floors or carpeting. If they had to go outside to the truck for something, they would come back in and put on new shoe covers. They explained everything before they left and gave us a tutorial on how to use our new system. They were also available to speak to when I was on my own with my new system and needed help. Their customer service and prices are outstanding! I have continued to use them for all my electrical needs and have never been disappointed.
Description of Work: Purchase and installation of home theatre system including Bose surround sound and Toshiba flat screen TV, outdoor lighting for area surrounding inground pool - lights were also placed into stone wall, inground pool electrical work, purchase and installation of keyless entry and alarm system and a device (not sure what it is called) placed in basement on electrical box to recycle electricity which has decreased my electric bill by about 20%

Description of Work: Prime Time Electric wired our newly built house. They were very easy to work with in the building process. They communicated with us and the other trades effectively to get the job done on our scheduled date. They were hard working and it felt like they always went over and beyond what we expected. We had heard horror stories of home building but Prime Time Electric made our building process enjoyable and a memorable experience. We have used them several times after building our home for maintenance and additional services such as furnace issues, pool wiring, and outside outlets for our camper. I highly recomend them! In fact, they are here today on a moments notice! We had no heat on our first floor this morning and with 4 kids ages 1-10 we need heat on this cold day. They were here within 20 minutes!! Now that's service!!
