We bought our washer and dryer from this place - ironically we were convinced by the sales guy Paull that we should buy GE because its American Made and the availability of parts (in case something happens) is superior to foreign brands. 6 years later we were hearing a squeaking noise when we ran the dryer. No big deal but we wanted to be proactive and get it looked at before something catastrophic happened. So we called Advantage Appliance. The service tech said that it was an easy fix - an idler pulley and we should replace it. Cool. The parts came in and they sent someone out to replace it. Tech 2 came out a week later - 1 hour later the tech came to me and said he had the wrong parts and would have to come back. OK - as long as the dryer still works, we’ll wait for the right parts. NOPE! The tech Alec/Alex in his valiant efforts to replace a squeaky wheel FRIED the control board rendering the dry USELESS. Even the “owner of the service company” Dave came out that night to try and fix it. Let me tell you...Dave seemed ****** that he was there on a Saturday night and his attitude reflected that. Long Story Short... The control board is on backorder and they have no estimate on when this part will be available. I’ve called and called and they have no other solution other than just to wash our clothes and hang dry them - no loaner dryer - no replacement - so now I have laundry piling up. I can find this part available online but they refuse to get it from anyone else. My last call with this company the person on the phone tried to defend them and said its not their fault that these things happen. Like “if you went to a car dealership for an oil change and they tell you you need new brakes.” NO! It’s like I went to a car dealership for an oil change and the mechanic stuck an ice pick in all my tires and told me I need new tires. Till waiting….

I would rate ‘0’ star. They do not deserve even a single star. In a SINGLE WORD “Stay away”. My freezer was not working hence called them for repair. Their technician Jeff inspected for less than two minutes and said temperature sensor was bad and left. Another technician Dave came after 10 days and replaced temperature sensor and left without checking it’s function. I informed them the following day that the freezer is at same condition where it was. They demanded me to pay the service call first to send again the technician. I am willing to pay whatever it is, but requested for proper diagnosis and repair, before payment. It looks that they are kind of SCAM to visit home and charge for multiple visits without proper diagnosis/repair. Now I am at the same situation where I was at 5 weeks back. Finally, my sincere advise to Sharon and neighborhood people STAY AWAY from AA. AA lacks professionalism, expertise, and capacity to repair. It’s really a SCAM to mis-diagnosis and charge for multiple visits. My mistake was not reading YELP reviews, better read YELP reviews as well, when considering AA.

After no luck with the manufacturer AND the store I purchased my refrigerator from - I called Neil at Advantage. He got someone out right away to look at my refrigerator and then proceeded to take care of getting all the parts, which were all still under warranty (we paid for the labor only, which consisted of replacing a compressor, evaporator, etc). Advantage Appliance really came through for us when no one else would help.

I ordered the dryer. It came as scheduled but could not be vented properly. I called with my dilemma and Brandon (store manager) was at my house in 15 minutes to assess the situation. He took total control. Found someone to fix the problem and made the appointment for me. He was totally professional and awesome! I cannot say enough good things about this store and especially about Brandon.

Very difficult & time consuming. It seemed impossible but he wouldn't give up until repaired. This is not the 1st time his tackled & solved difficult tasks. EXCELLENT. Highly recommended!

Overall, it was a great experience.

I was very impressed by the sales associate. He was so nice and didn't pressure me at all. He was honest and got me a great price on a new line of kitchen appliances. They have been fantastic and suit our needs perfectly. The delivery was easy. I am so glad I went to this appliance store. My kitchen appliance are working so well, I doubt I will need to replace them anytime soon, but if I need anything else, this would be the first place I would go. I highly recommend them!

Work was well done, but given that it took 20 minutes to do it, the $120 charged for labor is excessive. This was not a rush, last minute job. We called on Tuesday and he was available for Thursday.

Advantage Appliance Inc is a good company to work with. He gave a very reasonable quote for the refrigerator. He is honest and has integrity. He replaced the ice maker and fixed the dishwasher at the same time. He did not charge us for the dishwasher. I cannot say enough about this company. I will use them again in the future.

The service man was very professional, helpful, and friendly. Overall repairs were done to satisfaction; however, I will need to contact provider for follow-up on one of the burners serviced.

They are fantastic. They provided some new appliances. The service from their shop is fantastic and the advice they give me on products is great but when we had new a stove put in and the old one taken out it cost us a lot of money. They sub-contracted that and it cost a lot of money and I was very surprised by that.

First I called to get prices and features for appliances in my price range. A human being answered the phone, listened to my needs, and e-mailed me exactly what I needed. Of course I compared prices on line and Advantage's prices were as good as the big stores. I went to the store, a very experienced salesman showed me many appliances, answered all my questions and helped me pick out the appliances that were right for me. We sat down, worked out the delivery and payments and I was done. Fast forward about 6 months and something goes horribly wrong with my stove top. I call Advantage, and a human being answers the phone, listens to my story and tells me he will contact the manufacturer to see what can be done. Three days later, I get a call from Advantage letting me know that the store owner has arranged for my stove top to be replaced. . If you like to deal with experienced knowledgable salespeople who will still be there when you need them months later , go to Advantage. If you want someone else to call the appliance manufacturer when something goes wrong, go to Advantage appliance. If you want someone who really knows the appliances you are buying, go to Advantage. I read the not so great review by another customer. I'll agree that the salesperson could have been more specific about what is and isn't included during the delivery (maybe a written description would help).. But I highly doubt that the owner of the big home improvement chain is going to care enough to QUICKLY make sure your appliance problems are solved. I don't have the time or desire to go through the phone transfer systems and overseas telephone reps to get nowhere but more frustrated. I like knowing I have a personal appliance assistant at Advantage so I will buy all my appliances from them.

It did not go well. I went to this small, independent store in lieu of going to a big chain store, because I wanted to support a small business. Boy, was I sorry. Not only did I pay more for the appliances (which I expected to do), pay for delivery (which the large chains don't charge), but I got lousy service both from the store and the delivery company (I did NOT expect this!). The salesman was not upfront about several things. For example, he omitted to tell me that the delivery company does not remove the packaging materials upon delivery. I found that out only when the delivery company indignantly informed me. The two men who delivered the appliances were sloppy, did not properly set the appliances up (I found this out after they left and when I reviewed the Owner's Manual), lost an important piece to one appliance, but either did not know or just did not bother to tell me (that I had to get from the manufacturer before I could use the appliance), and were in a big hurry to get things done.
