Description of Work: We has Justin finish half a basement for us (divider wall, walls against concrete, ceiling, floors).

Description of Work: We had water damage around the house including in the walls, ceilings, exterior walls, doors, and window trims, which needed to be repaired/replaced and painted. We also needed the roof and counter-top replaced. Our deck and stairs also needed to be repainted as the paint was peeling off.

Description of Work: justin (and phil) put anderson windows in my entire house, taking out the old windows and replacing them with new windows.

Description of Work: We had a different contractor put in air conditioner, air handler and piping through our basement ceiling. That company left several large holes throughout the finished basement ceiling that required repair. Justin and his team put in new sheet rock in these areas and repaired the area so that the damages became imperceptible.

Description of Work: Rebuild a bathroom; replace the tub, vanity and light fixture. Also replaced existing floor with updated tile.

Description of Work: The services performed included new cabinet installation, remove a laminate floor and install hardwood flooring and install new countertops a sink and fixtures.

Description of Work: I hired Chubb Creek for several projects over the period of a few months. These included a new floor, a new closet, the conversion of crawl space to storage (Their idea), and overall renovation.

Description of Work: Justin has done 4 projects over the past 8 years ranging from an exterior entry, to a bathroom renovation, to a bathroom addition to a basement finishing job. Since he performed so well on the first job 8 years ago, I have always gone back to Justin for all my other jobs. Once I detailed the work in the recent job we wanted done, he was able to quote the job in great detail with suggested options that saved money. I was able to get Justin's full attention to this job and he completed it within the stated timeframe and within the stated quote. I did make some minor changes to the plan and he simply charged for the materials and for his labor.

Description of Work: My bathroom needed to be updated. Mr. Brown came to our house, gave us an estimate and a promised start date. As soon as we had picked out our items, Mr. Brown came back immediately and went to work. He was/is very professional and the work he performed was perfect. He is a perfectionist! Mr. Brown also performed a miracle in my kitchen about 2 years ago. It really needed some help. He came to the house, came up with a design plan, helped us order the materials needed, and went to work as soon as the material arrived. It is a showplace now. New cabinets, hardwood flooring, Corian countertops. Just beautiful! He was always prompt and professional at all times. He was true to his work regarding pricing. No overages! He even did all the clean-up after each job. And plaster dust leaves a terrible mess as you all know!

Description of Work: Justin Brown of Chubb Creek Contracting worked on several projects in my home, the largest being a complete conversion of a garage into a kitchen, dining and living space with stair access to the room above. We needed to make the house into a two family so that I could live alongside my aging mother yet still have a privacy. That meant making the garage into a living space, accessing the upstairs rooms, and closing up a connecting hallway. The garage had a concrete floor and garage door, door to the back yard and a few existing windows. We drew up a plan which was greatly enhanced by Justin's insight and knowledge.(No architect needed here!) He began by closing up the garage door and the door to back yard while new windows and a french door were installed in their place. The new floor was was built over a raised and insulated space which required him to raise the second door which we would eventually use as our entryway. Justin contracted a plumber to put in heat and water for the kitchen as well an electrician for the lighting, cable and phone. The staircase was put in next followed by the hardwood floor which all had to be finished. Window and door casings along with baseboard trims were installed. Plastering was done on the inside walls and cedar clapboards were put up outside. Justin installed the store-bought kitchen cabinets and the appliances. The final step was painting walls and woodwork and putting in a tile back splash in the kitchen area. I now have a large, beautiful sunny room that I have been completely satisfied with since the day I moved in.
