Jose and his crew were wonderful to work with. We were coordinating painters (who were good) and a floor contractor (who was a nightmare) and needed Jose and his guys to do a really odd assortment of work for us. They were responsive, professional, did great work, and really bailed us out when the flooring contractor screwed up. We will definitely use him when we are ready for our next round of work in our condo. Had we used him for the flooring from the start things would have gone a lot better -- lesson learned!

Setup a visit, after which Jose provided a quote to perform ceiling repairs. Getting the quote and scheduling of the work was an arduous process, after which Jose cancelled just prior to one visit and was a no-show on the second appointed time. Very unprofessional.

I really like working with Jose. He's honest, professional, and always makes sure the project is quality work. Both of the previous jobs were done on budget and, accounting for unseen events (like bad weather and supply issues), were all done in a timely fashion. The quality of work and attention to detail is excellent - the porch he built for us is great looking and the patio is exceptional and exactly what we want. Better than all of this though is the fact that Jose is really easy to work with. We have had the experience of calling contractors and never hearing back or having work take 3 or 4 times as long as requested. Jose is always easy to reach, always calls back, and always makes sure that the job is completed to our satisfaction. His prices are incredibly competitive (if not the most competitive I've experienced) - but at this point I don't get quotes from anyone else. I know his work will be excellent and that I can trust him. If he says something will get done, it will get done. I have, more than once, asked for additional projects while he's working on something else and he always finds away to get what I've asked for done.

We have used J.J. Construction in the past and decided to use them again for our new project due to their reliable track record, and we were not disappointed. Their prices were very competitive just like the first time we used them, and we feel that we got the most for our money, while their workmanship was second to none. Though J.J Construction is a big company, Jose the owner was always generous with his time and did not treat us like small fish. My wife and I are quite indecisive and we needed a lot of hand holding throughout the construction process. Jose is a really nice guy and he would often stop by our house and spend a couple of hours just listening to us. He is laid back, is always full of advice, and has an immense wealth of knowledge about home construction. We were constantly changing our minds and asking Jose to add new work to our original scope. Rather than just take our money, Jose and his foreman Manny would always try and to keep us on budget by pointing us to cheaper alternatives. We really, really value their integrity. Jose and his team were on time, on budget, clean and neat, and we tell all our friends to call them. Our experience was certainly very positive and we are very happy with their work. Please call J.J. Construction and we are absolutely willing to validate their price and the quality of their work.

JJ Construction did some work in my foyer which included building a new closet with bi-fold doors. They had to move a water line to create space for this closet. JJ Construction also painted the foyer walls, sanded and painted all the balusters in the house, including installing a brand new section of railing. They also installed a light in my master closet and a spot light in my back yard, and replaced my old kitchen window with a beautiful large window. Jose and his guys worked fast and did a very good job. I was thankful that Jose was still working in my house, when I noticed that there was some water seepage and mold damage into my garage from the outside. Jose did not miss a beat and added this new work to everything else. He immediately had his guys tear down the wall fix the water damage, and install new insulation and drywall. I don’t have much money and Jose’s price was very reasonable. My house looks so much better with all the updates. I am very happy.

Jose has been very accommodative of the ever changing plans for my basement refinishing. He says his first priority is customer satisfaction and I agree with it. He is not the kind of guy who puts his profit margins before customer service. He has very clean workers who has not given me any trouble till now. They also clean up all their work at the end of the day. They had to trench the basement for plumbing lines and he was determined to finish it in one day itself so that the noise will be done with in one day itself. Also, there was a miscommunication in what we needed and what he assumed and he was ready to make the changes for a very affordable price. The work is still ongoing and so, I cannot speak for the finishing works like tiling and painting. But based on what I have seen so far, I would recommend him without any hesitation. I plan to use him for the remodeling of 2 of my other bathrooms.

Jose was punctual, professionally dressed and courteous - when he came to see the work that we needed to get done, and sent us a reasonable cost estimate within a few days. He and his crew showed up to our door, when they said they would and everyday subsequently they were always punctual and would work long hours, including Saturday and Sunday to finish everything on schedule as they promised. We were impressed with the speed at which Jose and his crew worked. By the end of the first day, the room had already transformed dramatically. We would go to Lowe's, Benjamin Moore, and other stores - pick out the paint color, tile and other material that we liked and send Jose an email and he would pick it up the next day for us. We are completely happy with the work. JJ Construction was able to transform a room which we hated into one of the nicest rooms in our house. After the walls in the room were painted, we realized we had chosen the wrong color. When we told Jose, he was totally alright with us changing the paint color on the walls after it was already painted. This did not change his schedule. Jose used new material for all our work and did not try to re-use material from his other jobs like some contractors do. Jose has a great team of guys – an electrician, plumber, tile expert, carpenter and painter. We were particularly impressed with his tile layer who did an amazing tile job and his painter who painted perfectly despite having to use very little painting tape. Though JJ Construction had other projects going on at the same time, they treated our project with complete importance. Whenever I called him, Jose would pick up the phone and had time to listen and talk to me. Jose was personally supervising our project between a few and several hours every day during the whole schedule and did a lot of the construction work himself. We absolutely recommend him and his company JJ Construction – they give contractors a good name!

The company was excellent and he did a great job. He was patient and a very good listener. I have nothing but good things to say about him. I am very content with his service.

Excellent. Jose gave me a quote which was very reasonable. He started work when he said he would and worked directly with my designer to make sure things were done as we wanted. He worked long days and weekends to stay on schedule. The finished bathroom is gorgeous. The town inspector who did the final signoff told me to compliment the contractor on the fabulous job. Jose and his workers can do anything. He is easy to work with and flexible if you want add ons or changes. He has done a lot of work for me and he exceeds at everything he does. I recommend him to friends all the time. I completely trust him and his team. They are honest and do an excellent job.

Jose and two helpers worked non-stop for the entire day and did a great job. Basically every thing I showed them that needed to be done they took care of. They are great to work with.

Everything was great. He gave me a quote, worked long hours and got the job done as planned. He is flexible and very easy to work with and he does a fabulous job.
