Insulation Smart Solutions

I scheduled with Ruben to have insulation done today 11/8/16. After many phone calls and text messages Ruben has yet to show up or return any calls or texts. Very unprofessional I took a day off of work to be home for the insulation. Big mistake on my behalf not checking Angie's list before booking him.

A complete waste of time.

I called and spoke to Rubens Miranda on Tuesday, September 1, 2015. We set up an appointment for the following day at 10:30 A.M. so he could give me an estimate for adding insulation to my attic. He did not show up, nor did he call with an explanation. I left a message on his phone on Thursday, September 3, 2016. He returned my call but did not leave a message. I called him once again on Friday, September 4 and spoke with him and he assured me he would come by that same day and he would call before he arrived. I am writing this on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 and I am still waiting for his call. I would like to warn other users of Angie's List to beware of this contractor -- he is thoroughly unprofessional.

We started with a small bathroom remodel and soon found out we had no insulation or lack there of. Looks like the previous owners had tried to put in some fiberglass insulation in some areas. So we decided to check the other rooms upstairs and found out we had barely any and in New England a home with no insulation is a money pit. So we had several different estimates for foam and got referred through a family friend about Rubens @ Insulation Smart Solutions. Rubens came out quick did a couple of measurements and gave me an estimate on the spot. This I liked cuz he knew what it would take to do the job and get it done. He said he would get the job done in 2 days. So I gave him a date and he was there bright and early. Not only did he get it done faster than expected which was great cuz the project was behind scheduele. Had my foam inspection and passed. I plan on remodeling the rest of the house and with nothing upstairs that means theres probably no insulation down stairs. So I plan on having Rubens come back out to do the lower level when we are ready.
