ICS was prompt in contacting me and setting up a date to visit. Unfortunately, their service person got tied up at another job and could not make the appointment. I could not reschedule at that time due to previous travel arrangements. I called them last Thursday and left a message but have not spoken to anyone yet. At this time, I am requesting a refund as I cannot commit this money until they have visited my home and we have discussed the installation. I may use them in the future. Thank you.

They did am amazing job!! It's beautiful. They were punctual, professional and skilled. The work was completed and ended on time and the result was outstanding!

I contacted them. They were scheduled to come, and I received a voicemail that they needed to reschedule. I couldn't reschedule for the next day due my previous schedule to travel. I may be able to try to connect again later. However, for now I need to cancel.

The estimate provided by ICS was in the middle of the range of estimates we received. We went with them because of the number of "A" rated reviews they had on Angie's List. Overall they did a poor job on the painting. Here is a list of the things they did not do: 1. Tape areas to keep paint off of places it did not belong 2. Scrape down surfaces (they scraped but did not do a very good job in places) 3. Remove fixtures i.e. door knockers before painting so either we have paint on the fixtures or we can see the old paint around the fixture area 4. Painted over dirt and other debris ICS rotated through at least three different teams that had starkly different levels of ability, i.e. A, B, and C teams.They sent in a final cleanup crew to finish up the job and address any of our concerns. They did about 2 days of work if done properly in about 6 hours. In a couple cases we caught them taking shortcuts and told them to do it right to which they complied but we missed a bunch. We were given the opportunity to do an inspection however I continue to discover things that were not done right that were missed during our inspection.

I ordered the service since the price is reasonable for roof replacement. The ICS sent personnel for estimation, and added $1880 extra charges, which exceeds my budget. I will seek other contractors for quote of affordable price.

Although a bit slow to start with the initial communication and getting the contract for the work, ICS was able to schedule the job quickly. Took a day and half to complete the work and the crew did a reasonable job cleaning up. Only found a few odd nails and small bits of roofing material. The dumpster contractor however, did leave a hole in the driveway. The dumpster was not properly braced and one of the wheels created a hole. Fortunately, I was home at the time of the dumpster pickup and was able to point out the damage to the driver and make sure they were aware of the damage they did. I also communicated this with ICS and while it did take two weeks to resolve, ICS took care of the issue.

We are very happy with the work. The quality of the work is excellent. The work crew was respectful and cleaned up every day.

The enemy of good is better. A 2 day job done in 1. The management team are both engineer graduates of Lowell State University. They know their usiness. They use the latest materials in the industry, and of course that excludes felt paper. They use rain proof up to date materials (no felt paper). They are gentlemen and they are as good as it gets. I would recommend them to anyone. They have great respect for senior citizens and are very helpful to young start up families. A year later people are still stopping to look at this upgraded craftsmanship.

They were great, professional, and did a wonderful job. I am very happy with my windows.

They do top notch work at a reasonable price. I love these guys. I have hired them for other stuff and they are awesome. This was the biggest project I used them for and it went great. They let me use my own plumber and electrician. They coordinated and worked well with them and they are always patient with me and my questions. When they finish a project the leave the space immaculate. Not many contractors do that. They are very good at what they do.

Can't say enough about this crew. They show up on the job site when they said they would. Stripped and installed my house in 7 hrs. Awesome clean-up, like no one was even there. Non-stop, only for a 20 min. lunch. Would definitely use them again.

Emanuel is a true professional and highly knowledgeable and skilled in house exteriors. What a great guy for coming out to look at my project on my timing and on short notice, I completely trust his judgment. I also had the benefit of working with him at his old company on a large exterior project.

ICS was fantastic. Not only was the work of the highest quality, their communication was outstanding. Throughout the project they kept us informed, answered questions, and followed up on each and every aspect. I was very pleased and will use them again for a variety of other projects.

Our house is only 16 years old, but with the last few winters we had many shingles blow off and needed a new roof. Through a friend who had some construction done we were referred to Mike Bettencourt. Lucky for us! He came down, gave us an exact estimate and we scheduled the date with him (within the same week). We left for work early in the morning and by the time we arrived home that evening, a brand new roof. You would never even know they had been here. Perfect roof, perfect color, and no indication they had ever been here --- they totally cleaned up everything (and then some). We will need other things done down the road and he is the first person we will contact. I was very nervous about having this done, but we are so satisfied, I still can't believe it. We live in a development where all the houses seem to have the same problems at the same time (all built in the mid-90s). MANY of our neighbors came over to comment on the roof, the fantastic job done and they will be contacting him for the same reason. Very appreciative!

Very punctual, polite and professional. They finished on time and even returned quickly for one spot where there was question. Everyone from the office staff, the initial contact and bid provider, and the carpenters were friendly and hard working. They even suggested and provided a subcontractor for other roof work which worked out very well.

ICS had a delayed start to the project due to weather delays on other projects. Once they got started they were very quick to remove the siding and install the new materials. The painting part of the project was slower. They did add in some nice finishing touches like painting the cellar bulkhead and power washing the deck and porch. When working with ICS it is important to stay on top of the communication and to ask questions about what to expect when. We did need them to come back and attend to a few promised details. This could have been avoided if they had been more clear on the schedule. For example, we didn't know when the electrician was coming so we had to set up a second appointment to have our new exterior lights installed. They were quick to attend to punch list. The crew was responsive to our questions and was thorough with the daily clean up. The crew was also polite and friendly. Overall the project came out well and we have received several comments on how nice the house looks. We would consider using ICS for future projects.

ICS showed up to my home as scheduled - at 7AM. They had a crew of 4 workers. Their efforts were relentless all day - not leaving until 7PM that night. Returning again at 7AM the following day to finish, and again didn't leave until 7PM. Their efforts were great. The quality of the job was top-shelf. They did everything that they said they would do .. taking great pride in the quality. The grounds were cleaned up both days, but an extra special effort was done when the job was complete. I would highly recommend ICS for contracting this type of work.They completed the work as they said they would. The estimate was very competitive using Certainteed Landmark shingles. Working with their office was pleasant. They gave advanced notice for when they would start the job - and they showed up when they said they would.. Everything about this job was done very well. I was pleased with everything throughout the two-day effort..

It took longer than expected due to delays in receiving some of the materials and due to weather, but they did an excellent job on budget. They were very responsive. We chose them because when Michael arrived to meet me for the first time, he had already visited the property and scoped out the job. He had a detailed quote in hand. He had suggestions for ways we might be able to save a little money. He had a list of reference properties. You could tell he took pride in his work and really wanted the job. They took care of all the details. They didn't nickel and dime us for minor items. The job cost exactly what he predicted. Andreia in the office was always a pleasure to work with. Michael was very responsive to emails, texts and phone calls. The crew on site was pleasant and helpful. They took care of all of the little details, did quality work, and the house looks great- a huge improvement! I would work with them again.

Most of the communication before and during the job was very good. The general quality of work was excellent, and they did a good job cleaning up. On the downside, one important appointment time was missed, and my wife missed two hours of work to be at the appointment. No one answered the phone when we called to find out what was up. It turned out to be an honest memory lapse, and it was only that one time. Also, some added work was needed, and the extra charge was a bit exorbitant (at that point you are over a barrel), but the final price was still within the range of our highest bids. They did leave behind some damaged gutter guards (damaged by the roof stripping process) which they have promised to replace or repair. We're still waiting. My only general complaint is that they rush things a bit. They would have noticed and fixed the gutter guards if they weren't in a hurry to get out quickly. They still had a couple of good hours of sunlight, but they were rushing to move on. They also disregarded some of our requests in terms of the order of work, but it worked out. They are generally honest and their workers are excellent, but they seem a bit too busy to be completely thorough. My real grade would be between an A and B, but that's not an option.

Michael and his crew were very professional. They paid attention to detail, and they were able to solve some tricky issues related to a slanted ceiling. As for the accent wall and hearth of the fireplace, Michael suggested options that were viable within our budget as well as high-end solutions, so we could consider the range. That showed consideration for us, the customer, so we could make a decision that worked best for us. The crew did a great job and were very attentive and corteous. They left the place not only looking better, but clean. Andreia, the office administrator, was also very helpful through the various steps of the project. I also should add that, prior to this project, we received estimates from five different contractors and ICS was among the most competitive. Overall, great experience with ICS.

ICS did an outstanding job,from beginning to end..Emmanuel detailed the job description and could always be reached if there were any questions or concerns.....the crew he provided was terrific..very hardworking and thorough with every detail....good bunch of guys....any concerns or issues were quickly taken care of...would hire again,no questions asked!

We got 3 estimates for this work from Angie's list providers and hired ICS after meeting with Emanuel. We were impressed with his ability to explain the work and answer our many questions with knowledge and patience. We were also pleased to be offered a sizable discount on the Harvie boards because we were Angie's list members. ICS's entire team is to be commended for their professionalism. The men who did the actual work were responsible, polite and quick. In spite of intense summer heat they worked hard and remained pleasant. They never showed any frustration with our many moments of indecision and instead spent the time to explore options and help us resolve details so that we were happy with the results. They cleaned up at the end of each day, were respectful to our neighbors, and were trustworthy enough for me to feel comfortable leaving the house unattended while they worked. Emanuel stayed involved throughout the project and checked in daily. He was quick to keep us up to date on progress, answer our questions, and when their was some additional repairs needed on the front porch he sent pictures and fully explained the extra cost. Adrianna was available by phone and email from the office. She too was always friendly and professional in coordinating all the appointments and answering any questions about billing. We could not be happier with our choice of ICS to do this job, and of the results. Our house is really beautiful now. It's a joy to look at and we continue to get compliments from our neighbors! Emanuel and everyone at ICS are to be commended for making such a huge undertaking painless and joyful. I highly recommend them.

This review is long overdue. We had a roof deck on our upper floor condo long in need of a total replacement, with boards and nails coming up in multiple places. The condo was a rental property at the time, so liability was an issue. With nearly half a dozen contractors brought in to assess and estimate the work, all the others were in the $12000 to $15000 range. At the price above, Mike and ICS were less than half. You might think that would require a lot of cutting corners, but it was quite the opposite. Mike saw right away that a boom truck was the most effective tool for moving lumber to and from the deck, and that's precisely what he used. Regular coordination on details, e.g. the integrity of the base frame boards ("sister joyces") was handled in phone calls or email by either Mike himself or his office manager Paulina. The whole project took about three days. At the end, I had a smooth, solid and safe deck of pressure-treated wood, and all up to code. The building code deserves some additional comments. As I mentioned, liability was an issue. We needed a city-approved work permit. Most of the other contractors shied away from discussion of permits. My own attempts to reach authorities at City Hall led only to voicemails which were never answered by anyone. Mike was the first to inform me that contractors normally get the necessary permit as part of the job and City Hall is accustomed to working with them. Indeed, that's exactly what he did. So add peace of mind to a job well done. It's wonderful in life to have a plan laid out, hear a reasonable price and then get exactly what you paid for. Kudos to Mike and ICS.
