They gave us an estimate the day we called, and came out the next day to do the repairs. They rushed since we had a rainy forecast after that, and they got it done just in time. When we need to replace the roof we will definitely call them for a bid.

I asked Emmanuel to bid on the job after looking at another job he had completed. He was prompt and courteous from the beginning. After a short delay due entirely to weather, the team got started and worked at a fast, yet careful pace always maintaining a clean and safe site. Emmanuel, his partner Mike and the crew that did the work were always approachable, courteous and considerate of us and our neighbors. We were so impressed with the workmanship, we added a number of projects along the way, bids for which were always easily gotten and fair. In the end, we could not be happier than we are with the outcome of all the various jobs they performed around the house. We have had numerous comments from our neighbors and friends praising the work and the end result. We would highly recommend ICS for just about any job that you may need done. We'd hire Emmanuel and his team again in a second.

When it came time to replace my roof, I contacted a number of contractors for interviews and estimates. Most of the contractors pointed out that my gardens would be a problem -- I have formal gardens with topiary evergreens and extensive perenials on three sides of the house. They said, 'we'll try to be careful, but..." I then came across ICS on Angie's List and scheduled a meeting with co-owners Emanuel and Mike. They made a strong impression on me; they were very confident they could work around the gardens, their price was competitive, and they were upfront with me on all aspects of the job. I decided to go with ICS, and I'm happy that I did. The workmanship was great, they did many extras that came up, the clean-up was perfect and they there was no damage to my gardens. They also replaced, at no charge, the glass on my skylight that was previously damaged. I would recommend ICS to anyone who wants their roofing job done properly. On a final note, Emanuel and Mike were also available for many questions throughout the process, and with all the snow and ice this winter I've had no problems.

Excellent -- adjusted creatively and quickly to my need for access to my garage, supervisor checked in regularly and was available for questions, cleaned up very efficiently, workers were pleasant and unobtrusive -- overall an excellent experience The price was reasonable -- I don't discuss expenditures specifically.

They were on-schedule with the work, even a little ahead of schedule. They came-in at their estimate. They were professional, straightforward, and did quality work. We were very happy with the experience.

They were very professional and gave a very professional looking estimate. They were a bit pricey.

I had met with 7 other painters, and for one reason or another did not like them. ICS was prompt, within our budget and offered the best service and warranty of any we had met with. The crew was very meticulous and did excellent work. They cleaned up every evening and were respectful of our property. The end result is beautiful.

My experience with them was good. Their estimate was a lot more expensive than the others. However, they were very professional and they seemed to be good. I will consider using them in the future.

Though I am awaiting other estimates, they can the same day I called and submitted an estimate the same day. Plus, very professional.

Overall, ICS did a great job. We worked mostly with Emanuel who was very prompt with the initial quote and knowledgeable. The quote was very competitive and received an "Angie's List" discount. We were very pleased with the quality of the work. The few quality issues that we had were quickly addressed by Emanuel and the team. Due to weather and other jobs, the project took longer than expected. We were updated about the delays and we didn't have a set deadline so this was not a problem. The people actually doing the work were pleasant and worked hard. For the most part they did not speak English, so any issues needed to go through Emanuel rather than discussing with the workers themselves. This was not a problem as Emanuel was very available during the process. We were out of town for portions of the project and Emanuel sent us text messages with pictures which was a great way to communicate. Overall, we were very happy with the outcome and the interaction with ICS and hope to use them again for other projects.

We were very happy with the final product. The crews in the various phases worked very hard. They turned our worn out exterior into a beautiful home. With the exception of a week that was lost due to a supply shortage, we were glad we chose ICS. Emanuel was exceptional. He was very professional and responsive. I depended on his input when it came down to final color and design - he knows it all. For the quality, we got our money's worth.

We are very happy with the process and the result. Due to VERY many rainy days (this was the record-breaking month of rain), the work was delayed several times. Emanuel and Michael were very good about communicating with us throughout the waiting time and again during the work, so we were always in the loop without having to reach out to them. As soon as the weather permitted, they started work promptly, and the roof was done very quickly. We were actually out of town for a few of the days they worked and they took a picture and sent me a text message with an update. Overall, an outstanding experience.

My family?s beach house is about 70 years old and sits right on the coast which made our project a bit more challenging as we always seem to get more treacherous weather right on the water. My father was a contractor for years and the last time we painted the house it was 10 years ago and he of course had to take on this project himself however he never had much experience with painting and due to the location of the house the paint was chipping off the cedar shingles in only a year. I have included some before pictures to show what shape the house was in after 10 years and it is obvious to see that we needed a full service contractor that could do multiple things aside from the roofing and painting. We knew that the house couldn?t go any longer, and it was in dire need of a new roof, some new siding and paint. I actually just stumbled upon ICS through a friend that had nothing but great things to say about Michael and the work he had done for them. As I mentioned my father was a contractor and with his knowledge and experience, hiring a contractor for any job is always a challenge. However, ICS was very professional from the start and their pricing was more than reasonable and with the great recommendation from a friend it was an easy sell to my father. As I said the house is approximately 70 years old and I think it is safe to say that the roof hadn?t been replaced for almost 25 years. Michael helped us pick the type and the color roof that would be best for the house. I think the most impressive part was that they finished the roof in two days! I couldn?t believe how quickly and smoothly the installation went. There was one instance where the gaps in the roof structure were too large and they needed to put extra planks in to fill in these gaps. This was just an example of how they could have totally ignored the issue and used the existing boards even though some were rotted and too far separated but instead they replaced the rotted boards and added more boards where they were needed. Overall I was impressed again with their professionalism, service and the finished product.

I work in the real estate industry and unlike some of my previous experiences with contractors ICS gave us a very conservative estimate and there were very few unexpected extras, the only thing was that some of the cedar shingles that they anticipated could be salvaged, actually had to be replaced but the price difference was not that significant. I can?t stress enough how impressed I was with ICS?s customer service throughout the project the timeliness of their work and especially the finished product. Michael was very helpful with helping me choose the appropriate colors, and he insisted that the project wasn?t done until I was completely satisfied with everything. I had asked him if it was possible to cut the brush in the back of the house on the waterfront because it was obstructing our view and he not only did this but also touched up the landscaping around the house which made all the difference. As you can see from the photos I have attached, the house looks like an entirely different house, and hardly recognizable from the before pictures.

ICS - built a 15 feet by10 foot mahogany deck. The old deck was falling apart and was made of pressure treated boards. The new deck is so beautiful, I love it. Mike convinced me on the mahogany decking and railings and it has made a world of a difference. The oil stain looks beautiful and I'm enjoying all the compliments from my neighbors. I?m extremely satisfied with the project. They repainted my home and built a new rear deck. The project ran perfectly from start to finish. The entire work crew was very nice and worked all day long. The whole project ran very well, from my initial meeting with Mike to the final day of clean up. The whole project took 2 full days, first light till dusk. The whole crew was very courteus and proffesional. They did one side of the roof at a time, never leaving any exposure to the weather. Which if you live in New England, you have to expect the unexpected at all times. The crew worked very hard and cleaned up meticoulusly at the end of every day. I was extremly impressed how well they protected my garden and were carefull with all the landscaping. I have hired other roofing companies in the past for other homes of mine and I can tell you that they were by far the best I have ever hired. It is a great feeling when you hire someone that cares about your home as their own. I will recomend them to anyone who needs a roof. I also hired them to repair the siding and paint my home.
