On the day of service, they quickly set up a very impressive isolation areas around the work area, posted work permits and warning signs, and got to work. While the work was in process, they arranged for an inspector to come to ensure that they were doing the work correctly according to state regulations. When the work was complete, they left the area as clean (perhaps even cleaner) than when they started. I highly recommend them.

They were fast, responsive, helpful, thorough and informative. I called them Saturday, they came out to estimate Sunday, pulled a permit and did the work 10 days later. Ours was a non emergency situation. They arrived exactly on time, put plastic on place, sealed the room, took precautionary measures that seemed appropriate, and were done in 4 hours or less, including a state inspector for air quality. I was impressed. They left the room completely clean of dust & debris.

We had a great deal stored in the basement, but the provider agreed to move it as needed to remove the tiles. The tiles were removed well. However, a leg was broken on a piano and the workers did not acknowledge this to us. We were not told before starting the job that the glue under the tiles would remain on the floor and that it would cost $2000 to remove the glue if we now wanted it done after the tiles were removed. The following day we had no hot water and called the plumber, it turned out the workers had shut off the power for the heating system. We did a laundry two days later and the basement flooded when the discharge hose from the washing machine had not been placed back in the sink after the machine was moved to remove the tiles beneath it. The company indicates they will pay the $75 requested towards repairing the piano leg, but seems reluctant to pay the cost of our plumber coming out to address the hot water issue. The workers on site were very nice, but too many aspects of this went poorly.

It is very expensive and he gave me other options (i.e. covering) but he wasn’t pushy. He said he wanted the job obviously, but he gave me other resources. It had nothing to do with him, it was just the cost. The price wasn’t unreasonable and it actually seemed within the ballpark of other companies. It was just too expensive for me right now. He was great. I didn’t have to wait for an appointment. He arrived early and he really opened my eyes to the whole situation because I didn’t realize how involved and complicated it was dealing with asbestos. He told me about all the rules and regulations and what you can and can’t do. He may have saved my life! He told me that the paint I was scrapping away commonly had asbestos in it so he told me who I can speak to about testing the paint. I had a very good interaction with him. He was pleasant, professional, and knowledgeable.

While I am not able to use their services at this time, I wanted to at least write a review. Although I only obtained an estimate, Felicio was very polite, professional and accommodating in coming out. In fact, he was able to come out the same day that I called. When he arrived, he was just as polite and professional as he was on the phone. People like him are hard to come by these days so I'd definitely recommend him. The estimate is out of my budget at the moment but I will definitely be calling him when I'm able to get this job completed.

They came when they said they would, obtained the right permit, answered all my questions whenever I called or spoke with them, and left the pipes looking spotless -- no asbestos or even evidence of their work. Couldn't have been easier from my perspective.

The results were excellent. The ductwork was extremely clean, no asbestos, and the metal looked as if it had just been installed. A beautiful job. They were prompt, professional, set up carefully, had the results inspected. They pointed out that a piece of ductwork that had rusted through and needed to be replaced. Could not ask for better.

Everything went very smoothly and they are an absolute pleasure to deal with. It was pouring down rain the day they did their work and they were in and out a lot, but you would never even know they had completely ripped a room apart in my basement. They cleaned up after themselves, and were on their way. The inspector complimented their work, too.

These guys were amazing. When Maria and Callisto came out for the initial estimate, they were friendly and clear and were willing to work with us a little on the price. It's embarrassing to admit, but I actually asked them if they wouldn't mind doing the job "under the table" without a full inspection and monitoring afterwards. They politely informed me that it's important (and safer) to do it right and that the inspection is required by law. When they arrived to do the work, Callisto and his team were incredibly diligent with respect to keeping their workspace clean and insuring that very little was disturbed. They worked fast, finished ahead of schedule, and even got a compliment from the independent inspector who came to monitor the air quality afterwards. The whole experience was wonderful, it was like having a few friends from down the street do work, only way more efficient and professional. Use these folks whenever you need asbestos out of your basement!

Impresair Environmental Corp was really professional. They showed up on time. They worked really hard and they were really helpful. They were great and their prices were really competitive. We had a lot of asbestos, floors, there was a lot of asbestos going on. When I called I had to leave a message, but they did get back to me. They can't always have someone personally take the call, but they did get back to me so it was fine. I have recommended them to friends.

I learned from a home inspector that I had asbestos insulation on pipes in the basement of my newly purchased home. I contacted Impressair on the basis of reviews on Angie's List. Maria offered to give a quote based on photos and measurements of length of pipe. I took photos and approximated the length of pipe and used this information to solicit several quotes. I chose Impressair because their quote was lower than that of a local company and their reviews were excellent. They arrived promptly. They also pointed out a lot more pipe than I had noticed -- about twice as much pipe as I had approximated and twice more than their quote was based on. They charged more but significantly less than twice their original quote. They removed all the asbestos; I received the report in my email the following day.

Impresair Environmental workers arrived on time and had all the necessary paperwork for the state inspector. They prepared and sealed the site with the proper barrier, and removed and disposed of the asbestos insulation. They conducted the required air test of the area, which passed inspection and then they installed proper insulation on the heating pipes. The price was very fair, and they were very professional and knowledgeable about the necessary permits and requirements for asbestos removal. I highly recommend their services.

We had our 100+ year old asbestos lined steam boiler die in the middle on winter. We have 3 small children and there was no heat in the house. We contacted Maria from Impresair and they came over that day to provide an estimate. She also provided us with the contact information for the DEP so that we could obtain an emergency waiver for the work. By noon the following day, they arrived and removed the asbestos and the entire boiler from our basement - they were done by 4pm!!! They were extremely professional, kind and an absolute joy to deal with. Their pricing was very fair and we did not feel taken advantage of because it was an emergency situation - which is rare to find in a company these days. We would recommend Impresair Environmental over and over to anyone in need of asbestos removal services!!

I'm doing a complete renovation of my home and needed professional asbestos removal. Impresair removed linoleum tiles in a bedroom and hallway that contains asbestos, along with some pipe insulation. I spoke with nearly a dozen contractors and chose Impresair for a number of reasons. 1. They were friendly and professional at the same time 2. They called to confirm the appointment for a bid and then showed up exactly when they said they would 3. They conducted themselves professionally while doing the estimate 4. They quoted me a fair price When it came to the actual work, they performed just as admirably. They showed up on time, and were done far sooner than I had expected. The inspector told me they did a great job, and from what I could see I agreed. They gave me a printed receipt for the work before they left. And then a few days after the work was completed, they emailed me the inspector's report along with the air sample analysis report (which passed with flying colors). All in all, very professional and enjoyable to work with!

They said they were able to perform the work as soon as they secured the necessary permits which was approximately 10 days from my first contact with them. I had to put project on hold but would not hesitate to give them the job in the future based on the interaction I had so far.

From start to finish, the Impresair Enviornmental's staff was very responsive. Within a day of my first call for a quote, they came to the property and quoted a $2000 price for removal of the vermiculite. I asked for additional insulation to be removed (non asbestos) which added to the job price. Once I accepted the quote, they scheduled an appointment for the removal approximately two weeks later. They were on time and completed the job in seven hours and that included a required environmental inspection after removal of the insulation. Their company Supervisor Maria Najarro was pleasant, professional and responsive to my inquiries during and after the project.
