Very smooth. My first contact was with office manager Janatha. She is pleasant and professional and scheduled time for the estimate. Owner Howard Mendoza arrived on time and had a professional presentation. In a few hours, Janatha e-mailed the estimate to me. In fairness I spoke to the other names provided and then I hired Howard. Roofing is weather dependent and Janatha kept in contact with me and set a suitable date. On the day, Howard and crew arrived early and got right to work. His crew is pleasant and friendly and worked well. After a long day, they finished, took everything away and left no trace of being there. A pleasant experience! One Angie's list caveat is not to put money up front. Howard required half down and half on completion. As a small business owner myself, I know the importance of cashflow. After 5 minutes with Howard I knew he was trustworthy--Do not let this be a dealbreaker. I am very pleased with their work and will hire them again.

Howard construction dis a great job replacing my roof. I initially called them after a big storm to replace some shingles. They came out the day after the storm (Saturday) to do the repair. I was so impressed with Howard that I had him quote me a replacement for the roof. He was quick to provide the quote and was able to get the job done quickly. The roof looks great. I would recommend Howard Construction to anyone.

I received a response from an online inquiry the very next day. Snow storms had been rolling in, but they managed to fit me in on short notice so I could get an estimate. The estimate was e-mailed to me with a clear breakdown of what work would be performed. (this included the removal of siding, the installation of step flashing, the installation of a water/ice shield and caulking of parts near the roof). They were punctual and very efficient once scheduled- and scheduling was easy to do as well. Overall we went from calling various contractors to get an estimate for a leak to a finished repair in about 2 weeks- and that's including Nor'easters that prevented work from being done on some days.

Very professional crew, showed up quickly and ready to work. Handed me his business card right away so I could see they are fully licensed and insured. He quoted the job and said he could get started right away, that same day he went to pick up materials and got the roof fixed. It was incredibly lucky to find someone so quickly after the storm to prevent further water damage from leaking roof. I also hired them to isntall some siding, they work quickly and get it done right.

Howard gave a thoughtful and reasonably priced quote regarding the condition of my old roof and how to address a leak into my dining room. Janatha was very easy to communicate with to handle questions, contracts, and scheduling the work. The crew worked efficiently and was friendly, answered my questions; the new roof looks great and no longer leaks; they left everything tidy. Great experience, would recommend them to anyone.

I had a leak in my closet and found Howard Construction online. I set up an appointment to assess the repair 2 days after speaking with Howard and the work was done one week later. They were very professional and easy to deal with. The work took a couple of hours and it was a straight forward process.

I had water leaking into my living room Saturday night. I called Howard Sunday. He came by my house on Monday to access the situation. Him and his crew came to my house on Tuesday at 7:05 AM and didn't stop working until 4:30 PM. Wednesday it was rainy and windy. NO WATER LEAKING in my living room. Howard and his crew did a great job. They were very professional. They didn't leave a mess for me to clean up as was the case with my last roofing contractor. I gave Howard's contact information to two of my closest friends that need roof repair.

They came, they looked, they left telling me that an estimate would come from the office. There was no estimate for the work I wanted to have done, but an offer to replace the entire roof.

Perfect. Couldn't have been better.

Roof inspection. There were some issues with scheduling and logistics, otherwise it was fine.

They sealed my leak and sent photos of my roof. Handy to have since I am never going up there. I had a piece of flashing to re-attach and I had to pay extra. I know the deal was for an inspection, but I only had half a roof to inspect and one repair. I figured attaching the one piece of flashing would be included. They took their time checking things out and my leak was fixed.

Well. Caulked leak. I need a new roof.

Did not check inside (attic) of roof. Did you explain why brown liquid leaking onto house siding, just said new roof needed.

We needed a new roof and as soon as we purchased the package, Howard Construction called me to ask some questions. They were very responsive and kept me in the loop as the preparations progressed. Howard came out and inspected the roof and determined that there were two layers on one part of the house and this would be extra. This was fine, he outlined everything we needed. We settled on a date and there were 8 men who showed up to strip the old layers and install the new shingles. They were done in one day and the new roof looks great! I would definitely hire Howard Construction again.

Arrived promptly and checked roof and repaired the fixable issues. Sent estimate later that day with two dozen pictures related to the inspection. The overall professionalism and responsiveness was exceptional.

I have been with Angie's list since its first year. Angie's list should have been embarrassed to have sent these people to us. I was absolutely disappointed in the company and more disappointed in Angi'e list. Angie's List should have done due diligence on this company before they sent us the offer.

Went well. Perform service promtly and perfessionally.

It seemed that they are after a bigger job than what I need to have done.

A professional, full service company. Repaired the leak in my roof, took photos of the condition of the entire roof and followed up with an estimate for roof replacement.

It went wonderful he was there when he was supposed to be there he cleaned up and did the job in two days

the service technician (owner) came to my house (not a sub-contractor) and quickly reaffirmed that it was a relatively new roof and even though the pitch was dangerously high, he used ladders to access from other side and find a small area near the bedroom where some of the siding had come loose. He resolved the issue and was very satisfied.
