The work went great. Mike and his team came in and punched through the honey list in two days. He came back and fixed a minor problem with his work quickly and without complaint. MIke was great at communicating his work plan and finalizing all work. I'll definitely hire him again.

Mike did a volume of work on my home and did an excellent job on all projects of which there were many! As noted in the projects that Mike performed be it masonary. electrical or plumbing, Mike did a fantasic job. Mike is very professional, explains how he's going to tackle a project, and works very efficiently to complete it. The work Mike did was spread over multiple days, we agreed on the days he would come to my home, what work he was going to perform, any supplies he needed, picked up supplies that were specific for the project, and he showed up on time and worked beyond an 8 hour day based on the project he was working on!!! Working in Corporate America it's not often you get an opportunity to work with someone that has such a focused work ethic as Mike. His pricing is fair and his workmanship is excellent!! If you need several repairs on your home, big or small, Mike Bowser Handyman Specialist is the ONLY number to call!!

Mike did a great job on our bathroom tile floor, painting several windows and repairing our banister. He is a professional who has great eye for detail. He was here for thee days and his work speaks for itself.

We have an older house so had some issues but they came right out to fix problem without any charge.

Mike was nice enough guy. However, initially asked about two projects and he came up with another project in order to complete one of the first two. Proceed with one project, Mike provide an incomplete list of supplies needed for project. Then he complained about the supplies provided when he came to complete the project. We also had several questions for Mike that were never completely answered.

I hired Mike to install our shower doors after our previous handyman had gone to town bending our shower door frames as a part of our bathroom revamp. We bought a new shower frame that only somewhat fit the old shower doors and we needed somebody who had experience and a little bit of creativity. Mike did a wonderful job. He was professional. Showed up on time and was careful about details. He went out and bought the right supplies and used his experience to complete the tricky retrofitting. I also enjoyed him explaining his work. Highly recommended handyman for those contracting jobs that might be just a tad too small for a big crew.

We hired Mike install a drop-down attic ladder in our house and were very pleased with his price, workmanship and professionalism. Mike arrived on time, explained everything in great detail and completed the job in the time promised (he even stayed later than expected due to unexpected wiring issues). It was a two man job; both Mike and Paul were great to work with and very professional. I would definitely recommend Mike to others.

Mike came out on a monday to give me an estimate. He was on time. He did the work 2 days later. No problems and everything looks great. I had him put in baseboards and crown molding a few years ago - I trust him and would recommend him

He’s good. I like him. He’s a personable guy. I don’t think he got our message right away. That was the only delay I think I ever experienced with him. I left a message twice. I wanted quotes from both professional organizations and just from a handyman because I wanted to see the difference. Everything was really good. He was responsive and showed up on time. He’s a good guy to talk to and he knew what he was talking about. He communicated well, letting us know that he didn’t forget about us, that he’s just working on it. I got the quote a day or two after he sent an e-mail. He’s great to work with. The process is a little bit different versus professional companies. I would call him again to get a quote on a project.

He gave us a quote, and stuck to it, even though it did seem to take more time than he had planned for. He was meticulous in measurements, suggestion for materials, and very careful to clean up each day after the work. He came when he said he would - turned up each day circa 8.00 a.m. until the job was done. He was also very easy to have around - a very nice guy.

Mike attended to a few minor fix-it jobs with my air conditioners that I'm physically unable to get to. He did his usual thorough job with his usual cheerfulness and thoroughness.

Mike and his team completed all work as scheduled / on time. The work was done perfectly. Job1 (work at my mom's went smoothly) - Mike and his team completed all safety and maintenance work and in this case, with special consideration to the needs of the owner/user. Mike was thorough in assessing safety railing needs and positioning that were right given my mom's height and mobility. He and his team completed all work quickly and methodically. Concurrent with safety work he addresses a number of maintenance issues - re-positioning a smoke detector, resolving 2 kitchen light issues, and performed a complete cleaning of the high outside gutters and drainpipes (to remove blockages and setup for winter). My mom was delighted with Mike's work - appreciating his care to get it right for her and his congeniality and professionalism. Job 2 - At my home Mike and his team took on front step carpentry repair, rebuilding a utility shed to solidify the structure and replace water-rotted sides and failed hinges, securing HVAC duct work with wooden surrounds to hold-up venting and eliminate gaps that posed weather and varmint problems, and cleaning my outside roof gutters and drainpipes. I've had Mike back several times for various jobs - his versatility and ability to help you with several different things is exceptional. He completed all work - did a great job on my step repair, utility shed rebuild, and gutters/drainpipe, and did a really great job on the HVAC vent work - I say this because the work conditions (working in a crawl space limited his movement and ability to work with/cut/measure wood to get the job done - he devised a system (working in and out) and secured all HVAC vents as needed. Mike has been my go-to since meeting him a few years back. It seems he can do it all - he focuses on customer satisfaction, and always doing a quality job. He keeps his commitments - scoping jobs, providing estimates, showing-up (as promised) and completing work (as projected). He is an exceptional provider in this day and age - highly skilled, reliable, and trustworthy. I recommend him without reservation.

Asbestos Free's manager and employees arrived at the appointed hour and date. Set up proper security system for masking off basement laundry room for removing hazardous asbestos tile. Completed the work in about 3 hours. All hazardous materials were removed and taken away from our house. Arrangement had been made for community inspectors to removed and inspect the work and test the air in the work room space and surroundings. This was a separate contract arrangement, required by the town. The work and inspection were completed successfully as indicated above. Mike is a really fun, easygoing guy but also very prompt and incredibly competent. He's reasonable and when he quotes you a price and then realizes that the job wasn't as hard as he thought, he'll lower the price based on what was actually involved. Be aware that he's a chatter - I am, too, so I thought he was delightful, but if you're the anti-social type, be aware! He's flexible within reason if you do any last-minute changes of mind about where things go. I recommend him all around.

Work was viewed on first visit and discussed. Email was forwarded within 2 days with job description and projected cost of each. Work was completed on 4th day to satisfaction.

Mike and the guys were great, it was an oddball job and he handled it quickly and professionally, I'm sure there was no way this pair of repairs is anywhere near a common thing. After the initial job was done I had some questions on some areas of the work, and Mike was out the next day to finish it off, he did nothing wrong, I just didn't explain what I was looking for well enough.

The job went very smooth. I could not have been more pleased with his work. I would recommend him to my friends anytime. I will use him again with a doubt.

Mike does a great job. He tells you how he will approach something before he does it to make sure it's okay with you. He doesn't make a mess and is happy to clean up if needed. It's really hard to find a handyman that will come out for a day or even a half day as Mike will. Most of the handymen that I have contacted have a one day minimum and you end up at the bottom of their list unless you can give them a job for a few days. I would recommend Mike to anyone. I'm going to hire him again to do some painting and other odd jobs. What a find. I told my sister and a girlfriend about him and they both want to hire him in the fall. Thank you Angie! Clare

Mike was one of three contractors to price the job. He was the lowest, which normally should be a red flag-but because he was on Angie's List I decided to hire him. Once he began the job he realized he would need supplies different from what he had originally planned. He walked me through the details and having been a construction project mnager I knew this was not an unusual occurrence. Mike did not charge be for extra labor just the cost of materials. The stair look great and cost just slightly over the middle estimate. The area was free of debris, you would not have known any work took place. Mike is friendly, reliable and produces excellent results. Look forward to working with him again.
