Mike was great, he came to my house and gave me a thorough breakdown of what needed to be done, including an estimate with all costs. He asked if I was available the next day, which I was, and said he'd be here at 9:00am. He showed just before nine and went right to work. He knew exactly what he was doing, and kept me informed the whole time he was here. It was a pleasure to have him here, and the final product was great. Mike knows what he is doing and is very conscientious. I highly recommend hiring Mike if he's available for your job! I know I will be making a list of items and will be hiring Mike again very soon (book now, he gets busy over the summer).

Mike was great. On the recommendation of a home improvement store I purchased a plastic rather than a metal suspension system for the drop ceiling. Mike had never worked with the plastic suspension system and it was NOT easy to work with (it didn't support the weight of the tiles well at all and my wall mounted heater caused the suspension system to partially melt!) and so at first the ceiling was bowed in some places. Mike persisted and got creative to come up with a work around solution to properly suspend the ceiling tiles. Because of the difficulty in using the ceiling suspension system it took Mike longer to install the ceiling and therefore cost more but Mike was great all along! Now that I've had the wall mounted heater removed I'll have Mike back to fix the parts of the ceiling that melted and a few other things as well.

Mike arrived on time for both the estimate and the job. He was courteous and took pride in his work. He explained what he was going to do and checked with me before he did any major cutting giving me options when he found that one part of the ceiling was not leveled. He estimated the job would take a day and only charged me for eight hours even though it took an hour and a half longer. I would definitely call him again.

He also did cleaning in hard to reach areas. He put in some tiles that we needed put in. He did some preparation of walls for painting. He had to take down a lot of fixtures that had to be resanded in certain places and put in differently because they weren't right the first time. He did a lot of handyman stuff. His price was incredibly reasonable. He went out of his way to be prompt and made the calls and made the time for us. We had a cram need for him because the electrician came in quicker than we thought. He worked around so he could give us some more hours on a Saturday. He really bent over backward. Very pleasant. I felt comfortable with him in my home. Took on consideration and respect of my home. We have a third time for him to come out. You need to know what you need in advance so you can have the products needed for the job.

Mike returned my initial call the same day and explained his rates and policies right up front. He charges by the hour plus materials, which I found to be fair & logical. He took a look, quoted a price and called the day before to confirm. He was on time and friendly, cleaned up and did a fine job.

Mike is very nice and did a great job with the doors. In the 2 days he was at our house, he primed all of the doors (8 in total, plus a bi-fold door) and hung 5 of the doors. We only had him booked for 2 days, and we need to book him again to finish the job (which we will do soon). Mike cleaned up after himself and was good with our dog. I would recommend him for any small household carpentry/repair job. He is very reasonable at $35/hour, and he will stay a bit longer to make sure the job is done.

He was very professional. He was responsive and his work was good and aesthetically nice. He had to work out a few problems with the stairs and did a good job with that.

Mike is very prompt and responsive. Came on time to provide us with an estimate for the work; we agreed on hourly rate with estimate of 2 days. He showed up on time and most importantly the job was completed well within the time frame he provided us. In fact, it was done a couple of hours sooner, and Mike readily agreed to do extras, e.g. painting of trim. Painting Job: He did a very neat job of the painting, both ceiling and bedroom. The ceiling turned out to be more tedious than estimate. He did indicate that we would need to purchase bulk of the material for him, including plastic drop cloth, masks, sanding paper, etc. This turned out to be much more work for us than expected. Thermostat Replacement: He did the job, but needed some support from us on wiring and verifying that the new thermostats worked.

I contacted Mike via email and he responded promptly. A day or two and a phone call later he came out to check over the situation and then we scheduled the work for about 1.5 weeks later, perfect for my schedule. Mike did a great job. Attention to detail, pleasant to work with, fair price. What more could you ask for? The price mentioned above was for Mike's time - I paid for the ladder and miscellaneous materials (lumber etc) for the job bringing the total to about $490 (ladder was $150). Mike worked in my unheated garage without complaint, mostly by himself. I helped when needed (and perhaps when not needed as I am a curious guy), like to lift the frame into the ceiling and attach the stairs.

It was a pleasure to work with Mike. He called us a few days prior to the appointment to confirm again with us and review the requirements. He explained in details the material he was choosing for us, looking for the best ratio quality/price. He was at our place promptly on the day the job started, worked diligently and professionally, letting me know at the end of the day that he owed me 2 hours he would deduct the following day. I very much appreciated his honesty, the job well done, the impeccable house after the work, his ability to take on very different assignments, and look for perfection even for the smallest repair. The entire family got along well with Mike. He is coming back in January to put shelves and paint a bedroom. Dear Mike, have a great Holiday break, well deserved!

We had a list of small projects we wanted completed in the house we just moved into. Mike came over and took a look and estimated how much time it would take and quoted us his hourly rate. Our projects took a little longer than we'd all thought, but it wasn't because of Mike, it was because more work was involved on the windows.

I was very impressed with the emergency work Mike did for me in February. I contacted him again and outlined a number of projects that needed to be done around my house - 2 small drainpipe leaks, cracks in my foundation, sealing of bird's nests near my gutters, cleaned gutters, and nailed down the aluminum trim on the front of the house. Mike noticed my front storm door was not closing properly and tightened the hinges for me and suggested redoing the weather stripping. I asked for his advice about a number of other things that needed to be done around my house and he answered all my questions without hesitation. I will not hesitate to call Mike for future projects. He is personable, punctual, does quality work, and very fairly priced. I would highly recommend looking around your house - make a list of things that you cannot do yourself for one reason or another and call and schedule Mike to do the job for you.

Very pleased with the work done and will consider calling him again.

Prompt, courteous, thoroughly explained how he would address the problems areas and how the job was progressing, kept us well informed of unexpected problems encountered and solutions for them. As the job required more time, he came back over the weekend. Honest.

Mike did a great job with these various little projects. He was creative about fixing the garage door, in ways that saved money and materials. He came on time, worked steadily, and finished in the agreed-upon 2 days. He was also very patient and nice with our very curious 4 year old who wanted to watch and ask questions.

My mother and I live together. She is handy, but I am not. She's getting older. I think he's a great resource. I call on him and he comes. He is prompt and shows up on time on the dot. If he gets stuck in traffic, he calls. He charges about thirty-five bucks an hour. He's just great. He is honest and its so nice for my mom and I to feel like we can rely on him. He doesn't take on projects when he doesn't know what to do either. The only drawback is he doesn't get the materials, you get them yourself. Otherwise though, he's top notch and even though you get your own stuff, he tells you exactly what you need.

He made sure to contact me regularly and kept me posted regarding his schedule, when he would be able to work,etc. The estimate of the work was very close to the finished price, although the work turned out to be more than he could have anticipated initially. He made a special effort to change his schedule to get our job done in a timely way. His work was excellent -the job we would have done if we had the time.

We agreed that I d prepare a prioritized list of the odd jobs. Mike arrived promptly and we did a walk-through of the jobs to estimated, materials and time for each. Mike took care of measuring & shopping for materials. He took very little time to himself & worked through the day with only a short lunch break. The kitchen threshold and new facing boards on the house exterior came out great. Something great about Mike is: on the under-cabinet enclosure, we worked very collaboratively on the concept. Mike was totally open to alternative solutions; each of us built on what the other proposed and the outcome reflects this. Mike is very upbeat & energetic & multitasks well (fixing drawer-slide while paint dries, etc.). Despite hot & humid weather, no A/C, and septic fumes wafting by (tank work being done same day!), Mike had a great sense of humor and was highly productive.

He was prompt and friendly. He quickly figured out the problem and came up with the least expensive solution.

Mike returned emails and phone calls promptly. He came out and gave us an estimate after looking at the larger repair (the broken window). For the scheduled work date, he got here on time and worked through the jobs we had discussed efficiently and with care. He was personable and helpful. We were very pleased with his work, and we have scheduled him to come back out for additional jobs.

Excellent work. Arrived on time, completed work in very good time. Extremely happy with his work. He was very professional and respectful. I don't like having strangers come to my home but I was very relaxed and confident with him.

Mike answers and returns calls promptly. He came to my place twice to discuss small projects that I was considering and did not lose patient when plans needed to be adjusted. He did a great job.

Called Mike in the morning. He came over the same day, gave an estimate, and was willing/able to do this small job immediately. Finished quickly and the charge was a few $ less that projected.

We didn't go with Mike due to fact that we don't have time to get involved in the project (ordering materials, handling removal of fence from premises). However, we would like to say that we really appreciate the time he took to come out and carefully explain everything and would highly recommend him to anyone. We may very well ask him to do work in the future, because he is a handyman who can do a variety of things.
