Mike was great-I had limited time to complete the work (the week before Christmas)He was very efficient from quote to completion, easy to communicate with and he responded quickly to e-mails/phone calls.He kept me informed every step of the way and educated me as well on the" How to's" of each job.He paid attention to detail and always explained the options. He was neat and organized. He even replaced the window curtain when done painting!The job looks great.

It was excellent. They were on time, worked hard and were extremely polite. They also kept our front walk very clean - you would never know how much they had removed. We've already started a new list of things for Mike to do!

We have used Mike Bowser before and have always been happy with his work. He arrives on time, cleans up his mess at the end of each day and always gurantees his work. Our bathroom is very small and was a challenge to renovate. Mike always had a solution for whatever came up. He completed the work in under four days. I find his work to be top notch but affordable as well. Mike and his crew are always professional and are a easy to work with. I can't say enough about Mike's work. It's not easy having a stranger come into your house and renovate your home but Mike makes it an easy process. We look forward to working with Mike in the near future.

Overall a great experience. We were in the process of "re-habbing" an old back porch, and had just done a new floor and new windows ourselves, but needed to completely replace the exterior and storm door. Mike was punctual, responsive, and really made an effort to take the time to explain and discuss the details of the job, not like some contractors who give you the feeling they just want to get you out of their way. It was a custom job, since the original door was a smaller than standard size, and the door we bought was a standard size, so he had to adjust the opening. At the time he came out to give the estimate, he took time to look at the whole structure and immediately suggested insulating the floor (the porch is elevated off the ground and there is a crawl space underneath), which was a great idea and he offered to do it for little additional cost. It was a dirty job, too, but I was so glad he mentioned it and I think he even used leftover insulation that he had from a previous job. He and his helper must have worked really hard, because they replaced both doors, did the insulation, and the awning (which turned out to be much trickier that initially thought), and they did it all in about 8 hours! And the place was perfectly clean, no leftover trash or debris laying around the driveway. I was really psyched about how tight and beautiful the door looked after living with that crappy door for so long, and the awning, he made it fit perfectly and it is a huge improvement. Additionally, in the end there was a problem with the storm door handle that developed a week or two after he left where the handle was sticking and the door wasn't closing properly, but when I emailed him to let him know he got back to me the next day and offered to come over after work and adjust it (turns out it just needed to be loosened a bit), which he did right then and now it's working beautifully again. Thank you Mike! With an old house like ours, we'll probably be calling you again soon!

Overall experience was great - Mike called and/or emailed several times prior to the work being done to discuss details, pricing, questions, etc. They were punctual on the day the work was scheduled, very polite, cleaned up when all work was completed. I would call Mike again if the opportunity presented itself.

Mike and Tony were very professional. They arrived on time and ready to work. Mike was very easy to talk to and was happy to answer any questions I had during the process. A couple of the posts on our porch were very unstable (safety issue). Mike and Tony worked all day to make things safe for us and added a beautiful new set of stair rails. I couldn't ask for anything better. The work inside the house involved repairing our old plaster walls with a stucco finish to a closet space. The area was tight to work in, but they were able to finish it quickly. All debris was cleaned up well upon completion. I was extremely happy with the work done and would use them again should the need arise.

As I'd expected from previous work he'd done for me, Mike knocked it out of the park once again. In just two and a half days, he turned the skeleton of a deck (it had good bones) into what is sure to be the envy of my neighborhood. My refurbished deck is sturdy and attractive: I know because he carefully explained how he'd make it that way ahead of time. The day after he finished, my wife and I had family over for a grilled dinner, and everyone was astounded by the terrific craftsmanship. Mike is courteous and cares about repeat business. Don't go with an overpriced contractor without talking to him first.

Mike was on time, courteous and professional (even called ahead when he ended up being only 10 minutes late). He kept me apprised of how he would approach the various tasks, and helpfully explained the limits of what could be achieved (namely, some stains on the deck were too ingrained to be washed off; using higher water pressure would have damaged the material), and suggested how to avoid problems in the future. Especially appreciated was his resourcefulness when it turned out that the custom replacement windows I had bought were too big to fit into the frames. He managed to fit them in, after all, after cutting away material from the frames - and only charged an extra $20 per window.

Not pleased. "Called him to get estimate on some porch work. Not sure how big of a job was necessary. He set up a time to come out for him to give an estimate. I rushed home in heavy traffic to be there at the scheduled time. He did not show. I was patient because I am sure he is busy. But I am busy too and don't appreciate being stood up. I called 1 hour 30 minutes after our scheduled time and he apologized for forgetting me."

Before the job started Mike provided details of the materials needed. He showed up on time with someone to help him, which was unexpected but helped him get the work done faster. Mike was very respectful and careful about trying not to make a mess or cause damage when removing wood casings around windows to fix sash cords. His coworker was not as exacting and I needed to remind him about one cord that needed to be done. Work with the old loose tiles was very good, especially considering the poor shape the shower was in to begin with. The price was fair and communication excellent. I felt good about Mike's knowledge and skill. He seemed a little reluctant to pick up supplies, but that saved us money and allowed us to get the products we wanted.

Mike and his coworker were punctual and completed the work in 2.5 days. Mike communicated well about supplies needed though overestimated the paint needed. He was great about protecting our new hardwood floors though some bits of old wallpaper and some splashes of rinsed out liquid ended up in the bathroom with splashes on my daughter's tub toys. That was easily cleaned up though. The walls are beautifully painted using zero-VOC paint and the oil-based trim work is lovely and smooth. Mike worked a real transformation and was easy to work with. Thanks Mike!

Mike was responsive to my email, sent me an estimate after coming out to review the work to be done, and coming on time and prepared to do the work. Mike was pleasant and professional and kept me informed of each job as he was doing them. I will certainly use his services again.

I have now hired Mike three times. Each time he has been responsive, prompt, reasonably priced, and most importantly done a great job. I will definitely use him again!

He didn't show. Didn't call. Didn't canel. We waited over an hour for him. I followed up with an email a few days later. He didn't respond.

They arrived shortly after 8:00 AM on a Saturday and worked until 6:30 PM, with few if any breaks. These guys work hard! Mike was very particular about the door and the trellis and it shows in the quality of the final pieces. Great work, Great guys.

Mike was very prompt in answering my initial phone call to him. He came by within a couple of days to make a detailed list of the work that needed to be done, materials to be purchased and approximate costs of materials and labor. The work Mike had to do took a couple of days, spread apart, due to weather and other considerations. He showed up promptly on both appointed days. He is diligent and unobtrusive when he is working, and he cleans up promptly. I am very satisfied with his work and will be sure to use him again for other projects.

I called Mike and he answered the phone. I love that! He asked me to put my jobs in an email if I could so he would have this to look them over before the estimate. He come over and looked at the job and then wrote me up an estimate. He was very professional. The gutters, stair tops, and the trim where done on time and satisfactorily. I would highly recommend Mike.

Mike was responsive, punctual, quick and efficient. He got most of the supplies needed for a reasonable $35 extra. He explained everything he was going to do in detail and is an all-round nice guy. After explaining how simple one of the towel racks would be to replace he suggested that I probably could do it myself, thus saving me some money, which I appreciated (although I asked him to do it anyway). I was impressed with the quality and thoroughness of his work.
