Mike was the only guy to get me a quote back, and I'm glad I went with him. He was in and out in a day and he left no mess and did not damage the plants at all. I always managed to hear back from him within a day if I called or emailed.

Excellent job, on time, very efficient

Mike and his crew did a great job. He came over when he said he would to give the estimate on the two projects I had wanted done. He talked me through how he would do each project and the supplies he would need. He took notes and said he would get back to me in a couple days with the estimate. As promised, he emailed in a couple days with a detailed estimate including options for me to pick up supplies or have him pick them up for a $45 fee. He also included an estimate for disposing of the old fence for a fee. The cost for everything was fair, he gave a fair estimate of the time he would take to finish the project and we scheduled a date for him to start. He actually called to start earlier than expected which was great. Mike was great in every respect - he communicated what his plans were and if there were going to be any changes to the plan and was very professional and cleaned up after he was done. The work he did was exactly what we wanted and looks great. I will definitely hire him again the future when I have more projects!

Things went really well. Mike is very personable, and informative. I am very happy with the work he did, and will definitley contact him for future work that needs to be done.

Set up an appointment and came over with a look around but never heard back. Contacted again via email and didn't hear back again with a request for the same information because he forgot that he visited.

Mike was great. We had some trouble scheduling because it was winter, but he was available New Year's Day! I'd had him pick up the new doors for me, so that charge is added into the cost (cheaper than having the store deliver), as well as disposing of the old doors. He and an assistant arrived promptly and worked pretty much straight through. I've watched relatives install a door (and not well), so I know it gets complicated. It may look simple but there's a lot of small details to pay attention to. It's now been over a month with the new doors and I'm very pleased. They work flawlessly.

Called to get estimate and he came by two days later. Took measurements and notes on work to be performed. Received email with estimates for each individual job three days later. Questions on estimates required 1 week to clarify. Work completed for one of the jobs quoted(three season room storm door replacement). Arrived at promised time and performed work per estimate.Quality of work was not top level,there were dteails that could have made finished product better. Example: painted wood in door frame with a different shade of white to the three season room. New door frame stands out and makes older three season room components look aged.

We had contacted several people about installing a drop down ceiling in our hallway and it proved very difficult to find someone to do it, especially at a reasonable price, given the small size of the project. Mike was extremely responsive to my initial phone call, in coming out to give us an estimate, and in scheduling a time to do the work. He was very detailed in his estimate and had priced out the entire project including materials quickly after visiting our home. He was flexible in terms of where he bought the materials to meet our requests. He arrived on time and finished the project within 1 day as promised. He was in constant communication with us throughout the day and ran every detail by us before executing. He was thorough in terms of planning the project once he arrived. The work came out well and met our expectations. The only complaint that we had was that the installation created quite a mess and the clean-up could have went better as we were left with lots of dust and debris in the hallway. Also, there were minor knicks and marks on our freshly plastered and painted walls. Overall, for the price, we we were happy with the outcome, especially considering that it was so difficult to find someone to do this type of work. We would hire Mike again for small home improvement projects.

I did run out of wallpaper and she had to come back another day to finish, but it was worth it.

It went very well overall. Took a while to pin down a date but once it was scheduled, he did the work efficiently and professionally.

Mike's prices were fair, his personality was pleasant, and his work ethic is exceptional. He has been to my house on 4 separate occasions for jobs stated above, and I'm going to continue to use him as issues arise and need to be fixed. He is easy to work with, and flexible. I asked him to modify the back stairs design after he had started the job, and he was understanding and changed the job to meet my desire. At any time, if he was unclear of how he should proceed, he asked for clarification, and then repeated back to me his understanding to make sure what he heard is what I said.

Mike showed up on time and went right to work. Although the job ended up being more extensive than originally thought (exactly as might happen once more of the side was exposed), Mike did the job's extra work quickly and well. We negotiated a very fair price change. He did an excellent job and had the area totally cleaned up when he left. We will definitely be using Mike again.

Mike called me back after I'd emailed/called him (I contacted him on a Saturday, he called back on Monday). He came by at my earliest available time and spend about 30 minutes looking at the damage in the walls and around the windows. He explained things to me but didn't over-explain like I was a dummy. I liked that. He emailed me the estimate the following evening, and set up a time to come the next week- so from the time I contacted him to the time it was done was 10 days. I opted to buy the supplies for the project on my own, and he gave me a clear list of what to purchase. He came on time with another worker and they got to work right away, worked hard, and finished within 7 hours. The work was well-done and they cleaned up very nicely after themselves. We are really happy with the results, and are planning to call Mike again for some other small projects we may need help with in the next year or so.

Mike arrived punctually on the promised date and got right to work. As usual, he was friendly, capable, very neat and eager to do what I needed. This was my third experience with Mike, and I wouldn't hesitate to call him again.

He did a good job, but I am unable to get him to come back which is disappointing. I found him on Angie’s List. He charges included the price of the windows. I am frustrated as I couldn’t get him back. There was an issue where one of the screens of the windows was loose and it did not seem to fit in to the frame correctly, so I did call him, and he did reorder it from the home depot. He showed up with a replacement screen without telling me, and I was quite annoyed, and I didn’t want to be rude, so I said you kind of woke me up here and he said I was hanging in the neighborhood and it was a spur of the moment. I said that I don’t do spur of the moment, so I did let him know that I was kind of annoyed because he had woken me up, so maybe that’s why he never came back.

We contacted Mike through Angies list and he responded very promptly offering several times to come over and quote on the job. He took detailed notes and e-mailed back within 2 to 3 days with a detailed quote. Mike kept in touch about his availability and cleared a 4 day time period during which he and his helpers could complete the job. They arrived when expected and worked for four solid days to complete the work. They helped move some of the heavier pieces of furniture and did a terrific job on the painting. The walls look much smoother than when they started and they did a very thorough job. Overall an excellent experience - it was a big job, Mike and the guys persisted and got it all done in the planned on time frame and were pleasant and kept the lines of communication open throughout.

Mike came out to visit my home to see the windows and help me with the measurements. I didn't realize how much of the windows were hidden behind the trim, and fortunately Mike was very experienced so that the windows I ordered fit the frames perfectly. He also provided me with a free estimate for the work. Mike discussed the options for ordering the windows and supplies, as well as disposal of the old windows. I appreciated that he gave me the choice whether to do these things myself or have him do it. In the end, I chose to order and pickup the windows, shims, and caulking myself. He supplied the insulation and disposed of the old windows. This arrangement helped lower the total price of the job. Mike was available to do the job 2 weeks afterward. This was fine with me because the windows had to be custom ordered and needed about 10 days to arrive. Mike called me the day I placed the window order to have me double check all of our measurements. I appreciated this attention to detail. Mike came with 2 of his men to do the job. The job went very smoothly and the windows look great! The job took just over half a day. I would definitely hire Mike again and in interested in having his group do him repainting and staining work in our condo building entryway. I was very pleased with Mike's work and think he is a man of integrity.

Mike was very professional. He responded right away and scheduled an appointment to walk through the work I needed completed within a week. His prices were fair and he even let me know where I could do some work myself to save on costs. I felt very comfortable leaving him at my place while I was at work. He called to let me know the status and when he couldn't finish part of the work in the same day, scheduled time immediately to come back. He is courteous and helpful in explaining all the work he will be doing. I plan to use MIke again this summer for other projects.
