They were able to come out quickly and spray for ants. There is a 1 year warranty, so I will keep a close eye for bugs in early spring!

Arrived on time, looked over the situation, put on a bee suit, told me to go inside, and then, while standing on our deck, with an extension pole, sprayed powder into the several entrances. No danger to him, no ladders to climb. Might have taken longer to suit up then to powder the yellow jackets. Gave the all clear, told me to be aware for the next several days of any activity and to call him if any were still alive after three days. He would return with no charge for the rest of the year. Didn't need to call. He did it right the first time.

They do a nice job. I have used them before and then I think I checked them out on Angie’s List too. They are cheaper than most of the other places. Good pricing.

Scheduling was great and fast. We had them also exterminate termites. The termites have since come back and they will be treating again and we will not be able to tell the effectiveness of this treatment until next year.

Yesterday, I found a winged insect in my living room. I first thought it was a yellow jacket, but its stripes were not clearly yellow and it resembled the pictures of winged carpenter ants found using Google. I found General Environmental Services Inc. on Angie's list, called them and arranged for a free inspection. Today, Bob Leon of General Environmental Services Inc. arrived at my house a little before 1 PM. I showed him the insect I found, and he immediately identified it as a yellow jacket, without a doubt. At my request, he looked around my house and garage thoroughly. He found the remains of an old yellow jacket nest near a window, some rotting wood supports in the garage, a crawl space below the breezeway, and dead yellow jackets and gaps around attic windows. He recommended that the rotting garage wood supports be replaced before they attract carpenter ants, the earth under the crawl space be covered with a polyethylene sheet to avoid the build up of humidity that could lead to rotting of the breezeway supports the gaps around the attic windows be filled to avoid the entry of inspects or other pests, and the trees and bushes around the house be cut back so that they are at least eight inches away from the house. Bob was quick, thorough, and as professional as they come. I am now relieved of what I thought could be the start of a nightmare.

It went find except for the technician was kind of sloppy with the work he did, so some of the methods that he used left some residue on the floors and walls. Otherwise, they were prompt and the problem seems to have resolved.

Very professional and convenient. Since they were not spraying inside the house no one needed to be home on the day of service. They left an itemized receipt in our mailbox. The pest of concern was large black ants and the problem was well controlled, if not resolved, after they came. They have a great flat fee and we can call any time we see another ant inside and they will come out again. Highly recommended.

Their service was satisfactory. Someone came and did outside spraying. They came on time and I was given a good explanation on what was being done and he offered to do as much as possible. We've had no problems with insects since and I would recommend them to others. I didn't spend anything other than the deal and they came out to do the work the month later on the day that I arranged for them to come.

They were quick to respond to a telephone message and set up a time for the work. The process took much longer than we were told (although the techs who did the work said that happens a lot). They cashed a check for the inspection which they said they would not do if we went ahead with the work. The invoice they sent out did not reflect the credit for the inspection, and the total charged did not add up correctly. It took a few phone calls to straighten it all out and receive the credit. I was told that they would also send out a voucher for a free pest inspection which could be used by anyone..never received it.

They provided a free inspection, determined what the problem was, what needed to be done and the cost. A serviceman was scheduled and the work done in a very professional and pleasant way. I would use them again would recommend them to anyone who has need of pest control.

The Lowe's gift card came quickly and I used it and the General Environmental were very good. It was a one-time service and the 6 months warranty were alright. I used them for some ants and I did see some ants and they came straight out and then I didn't see them again. Even with the warranty, they came immediately out after, I did see a couple, I didn't see a lot but I didn't want it to become a bigger problem and they came straight back out and they did again. I used them within a month later and then 6 weeks after that, they came back out. Actually I remember when they came out, the guy went above and beyond, I had some bees that I actually thought that they might charge extra and the guy took off my shutters because the bees are behind my shutters. He took of my shutters and sprayed behind the shutters for the bees as well.

The provider was very professional and knowledgeable. He was efficient and I haven't seen a bug since. :)

It took them like 15 minutes and I got a bill for $300, which was an estimate. However, they re-billed for about $90 after I contacted them. They were glad we contacted them. They were prompt, came when they said they would, and pleasant.

Bought the Big deal through Angie's List. Then I called them to make an appt. They were courteous and informative on the phone, talking about what they thought would be the best way to treat the property for carpenter ants. And also letting me know ahead of time what I should expect to see and how long it would take for the treatment to work. They showed up as scheduled and the ants disappeared as scheduled ! Would hire them again.

Went well. Provider called me right after I bough the big deal and scheduled. They came when they said they would.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was alright. I had asked them to come back because we were still getting ants around the perimeter and in the house. So they came back and sprayed again and that seemed to have cured the issue. They’re very professional about scheduling the return visit so it was good. After they had sprayed once, there was a clear indication of carpenter ant infestation above my garage so that was why I called them back. They came within a week or 2 after I purchased the deal. You were supposed to wait 6 weeks to try to have their treatment work and I probably waited 8-10 weeks before calling them back. They came again about 10-12 weeks later. Their coupon guaranteed their work for 6 months. They came back at no charge. They were pretty easy to work with. The price was reasonable.

Called company and explained we were finding possible carpenter ants inside our house on a daily basis (even crawling up my leg inside my jeans while seated on the couch!!). Within a day or two an exterminator kept the appointment and did a perimeter spray for the ants (environmentally safe for people and animals) and the ants have stayed away ever since! Easy as could be! Not even necessary for anyone to be home. I am about to call them again now as we have had an infestation of small wasps inside the house. Highly recommend!

GES contacted me within a couple days of buying the big deal. I was impressed that they reached out and they suggested a date that they could come and perform the service. They said I didn't need to be home at the time. They came promptly on that day and sprayed for ants. Since that point, we have only seen 4-5 ants (total) in the house this season... very impressive considering in prior years I would easily kill 4-5 a day! Overall, very professional and I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.
