Jay and his team at Discovery Home Improvement were outstanding in every way - friendly, professional, hard working . . The project was primarily exterior painting of a five bed -room house and carpentry work as a preliminary to the painting - a garage window and a basement window needed replacing, along with exterior woodwork and window sill repair. We are incredibly happy with the results and hope to have Jay return to work on the interior of the home.

Jay is extremely knowledgeable, not just about painting but also other general contracting work, therefore he is conscientious of how the other work we had planned needed to fit in. He had great recommendations for some options we were evaluating on how to deal with a set of railings dividing the entry way from the living room as well as on the stairway. He advised painting the spindles only from his extensive experience with other painting projects, and doing a coat of poly on the handrails instead for a better grip texture, and the result was excellent. Will definitely consider Jay and Discovery again for future painting projects, as well as other general contracting projects.

Mr. Oliveira did an amazing job. I hired him for two projects. one where he painted my entire interior of townhouse and also the kitchen cabinets. Btw he was the only painter that said he would take off the cabinet doors to paint them. Everyone else said they would paint while the doors are attached...which would not yield a good result. Second project involved damaged from leaking water pipes...some tiling, plastering, painting and refinishing hardwood floors. Excellent job...very professional. And extremely trustworthy...he had my home keys for each project and no problems.

They were easy to work with and their response time was great. Overall it was a great experience and a great company to work with.

Jay's men arrived on time every day, were extremely polite and professional, and did a fantastic job. My walls were not in good shape and they repaired and prepped them so well they now look like New. I am very pleased with the job they did and believe the price charged was reasonable. I would definitely use this company again.

My husband and I recently moved to Milton and we were in need for a Contractor pro for a large project for a our new home. We were looking for the right team to tackle a large interior painting job (kitchen cabinents, livingroom, dining room, trim, 3 bedrooms, etc.), skim coat the ceilings and sand and stain our floors. We interviewed 5 different Contractors and and J. Oliveira was the most thorough during our walk through and provided us with very helpful suggestions. He was also extremely professional as well as responsive with the follow up proposal. Once we selected him, he prioritized our project, showed up the same day as our closing and got right to work! He and his team were amazing. They stayed on schedule and on budget and did an absolutely phenomenal job on every piece of the project!! Our home is a brand new place thanks to them :) I would hire J. Olveira again and again! He and his team also do roof work and electrical which is good to know for our future projects!
