Rich was great at communicating every step of the way, and the team showed up when they said they would, and were efficient and pleasant throughout. We also appreciated the help in dealing with our insurance company - who will NOT be getting a good review. Thanks Rich and 3Gs!

+ -1 moreHighly recommended. Rich was extremely responsive and thorough. Had informed me on every step of the way, from getting the estimate to how the job would be handled. Was very affordable too considering some of the other quotes I received. After the job was done, the site was left cleaner than it was before the team got there. Very willing to work with you to make sure you got the job that you would be satisfied with through and through. Absolutely will be looking to work with them in the near future for a few more jobs that we have planned.

Description of Work: Nothing, other than talk to me and promise to come check out the propety. He never showed up or provide a quote.

+ 0 moreThe easiest contractor I've ever dealt with for anything. Barely had to spend any time explaining what we wanted, very efficient and showed up when he said, did the job, no hassles. I would definitely use again (but would hover over them more so that I could get perfection).
Description of Work: Price was very reasonable, but I don't remember exactly what it was. front brick walkway was done efficiently and well. Asphalt driveway is quite good - not excellent. It is serviceable and looks fine -- but does not have the perfection of absolutely smooth and flawless in the sense that there are barely noticeable prints where the tamping down squares were used, and a slight bump where the asphalt meets a stone/brick inlay area.

+ 0 moreThey came right down when they were called. They took measurements, looked it over and gave me an estimate right away. They started the next week. I liked their estimate better than another company's estimate. They did a great job. They did extra in the job because they found a problem when they dug the driveway up. They spoke to us first about it to get our approval, which was good. They finished it very promptly and cleaned up very nicely. They were here within 15 minutes of the time they said they would be and they finished in two days. I am very pleased.

+ -1 moreThey do an outstanding job. They are very punctual. Their price is affordable. They do a very good job. They are very nice people. It’s very easy to get along with them. I like everything about them. They are very down to earth. They keep you feeling comfortable when they work. You feel like they are somebody who wouldn’t screw you when you are working with them. They are very honest people. I would recommend them to anybody and everybody, and I don’t just recommend anyone to everybody. I would use them in the future.
Description of Work: I used 3 G's Construction to do the whole concrete job. They did the driveway pattern for me two weeks ago.

+ 1 moreThis couldn't have gone any better. Nice workers, nice owner. Top notch professionals and craftsmen. I think I got the deal of the century. I hope you will give them a chance. When you have a job this big, you need faith, and I can vouch for 3Gs. We had very bad weather just before work was scheduled to begin (the monsoon rains of June 2009), so the start of the job was very weather dependent and some of his jobs clogged up his schedule. Once we picked a start date, he started when promised. The only complaint I have is that he was slow on the final few days, and I had to call him to find out his follow-through plans. A few days later, he returned and everything was completed 100%. I am very happy that I could give 3Gs my business. Find my youtube video of this job by searching for 3gs driveway job.
Description of Work: Worked with my sketches and ideas to overhaul my yard & driveway. Services included complete removal of existing asphalt, concrete, brick & cobblestone driveway. (It was an ugly patchwork.) Heavy demo including bobcat & jack hammers were required (with no complaints). Owner built a wooden handrail structure for my basement stairs bulkhead. 3Gs listened to my design ideas, helped make suggestions, and ultimately let ME layout the driveway with stakes & string. Above & beyond: owner was willing to collect all stray cobblestone from my property and lay a 50-foot x 4-foot cobblestone walkway from the fresh asphalt driveway to my rear steps (on his hands & knees by himself). He also trucked in a granite curb stone to cap my stairwell at no additional charge just to make things nice. Additionally, he hauled in a dump truck full of loam so I could immediately lay grass sod.
