Fantastic! We couldn't have been happier with Jeff and his team. 1. His communication is amazing. This guy is glued to his phone. Every text and phone call gets returned almost instantaneously. Also, if you have a concern, he deals with it very quickly. He does a nice job of listening to your thoughts and letting you know what's reasonable and possible. 2. His crew is wonderful. When other companies have worked in the house I always felt anxious. With his crew, I genuinely enjoyed having them around. They were clearly invested in the project and did such a nice job cleaning up at the end of the day. Also, their craftsmanship is top notch. When the interior designer saw the tile work, she was blown away by it. 3. Jeff had great design ideas. We used an architect, but he had a great idea that improved our plan significantly. 4. He takes care of all of the logistics with the tiling and bath supply company. If you use Jeff, I would strongly recommend you go with his preferred suppliers as this part of the process was seamless. 5. His crew takes great care of your house while they are working. With a small, old house, I was nervous about being under construction for weeks. They did such a great job cleaning up every day and really worked hard to make a minimal impact on the surrounding space. 6. Finally, once Jeff starts working, he keeps working! I have heard horror stories from other people about contractors who seem to be working their project half-time. This never happened with Jeff. The rare times his crew wasn't there, it was because we had to wait for something, ex. for the glass to be cut for the shower door. When I checked Jeff's references, one of them, an interior designer said, "I like to recommend him because at the end of the project I know that the client and I will both be happy with the result." I couldn't agree more!

i don't know how you can advertise yourself as a bathroom and kitchen contractor when you don't do cabinets or paint. He could do the demolition of the bathroom and install the tile, but he wanted me to get the cabinets myself, and call his painter to finish the job. Not what I was expecting from a contractor. I had expected that a contractor would do a turn-key job, otherwise why would I hire a contractor?

Jeff and his team were incredible and we can't wait to use them again. They were prompt, communicated to us throughout the project, and did great work. We have a cat and the crew were also very considerate in making sure our little furry guy didn't get out when they were working. Jeff's busy, so it took some time to get on his schedule, but there's a reason he's busy and it was well worth the wait!

I called Jeff and one other contractor to come look at a kitchen and mud room job for my mother's house. It was the second time I have hired Jeff for a big job and the second time I am giving him an A+ rating. This was not an easy job. Both areas needed to be completely gutted. Part of the job involved removing a wall to open the kitchen up to the dining room, which lead to some adjustments to the base board heating system and floor leveling. We also decided we wanted to replace the electric range with a gas range. Jeff's bid was slightly higher than the other contractor but we went with him anyway for three reasons: (1) he gave us a very REALISTIC timeframe for when he could start the job and how long it would take to be completed. We could tell that he gave a lot of thought into each aspect of the job and did not want to overpromise on the timeframe; (2) he was very courteous, respectful and helpful during our initial appointment in that he listened to everything we wanted to do and also gave us some ideas of other things we might want to consider, based on his valuable experience; and (3) I had a prior positive experience with Jeff in 2011-2012 when he gutted and rebuilt a kitchen and bathroom at my house. The job went very well. The kitchen and mudroom look fantastic! Jeff's team is very skilled at what they do. They were very respectful of my mother's property. Most of all, they showed up when they said they would and were in constant communication with us about the schedule and what we should expect, which in my experience is a rareity among contractors. Anytime we tried to reach Jeff he either picked up the phone right away or was back to us within minutes. This is a very professional operation with good people and a high quality work product. I have already recommended Jeff to several friends looking for a quality contractor and will continue to call him for future home remodeling needs.

Jeff was one of the few contractors who promptly responded to my initial request for an estimate of the work. He gave me a list of his providers (tile, plumbing, etc.) and a cost estimate within days as I remember. He was busy at the time so my only complaint was that it took a while to get the job started. However, once his crew arrived and began the demolition, he kept the job moving at a regular pace and always let me know when and who to expect the next day. His crew were really pleasant, easy to have around, knowledgeable about their jobs, and never left a mess at the end of the day. When questions would arise during the job, they had good ideas for solutions. Several of them have been with Jeff for a long time and have worked on a lot of bathrooms and kitchens so they can figure out what to do, especially in an older home where you don't know what you're going to run into. Overall, I was very pleased with Jeff's professionalism, responsiveness (esp. via texting) and ability to schedule his jobs in such a way that there was never a big lag from one part of the job to the next. I would definitely recommend him as a contractor.

Everything went incredibly smoothly thanks to Jeff's leadership and his great team. The main person on the job, Jhonny, handled all aspects of the work carefully and skillfully. He showed up punctually every morning, even during a significant snow storm and he cleaned up and left my condo in livable condition before he left everyday. Both Jhonny and Jeff listened respectfully to my ideas, while offering helpful suggestions of their own. Whenever there was a decision to be, the discussions were pleasant and productive. Jeff was amazingly responsive right from the start. He answered every phone call and email promptly and showed up when expected. A few days after the work had been completed, a problem developed with the drain in the newly installed bathroom faucet. Jeff arrived at my door within an hour after I called him and the pipe was repaired and the situation resolved early the next morning. Very impressive! I hired Jeff for mainly for two reasons: One was the reliability he demonstrated from the estimate process on , and the other was the great reviews he got on Angie's List. I felt lucky that he was willing to take on my relatively small job, and now that it's done, I know that I truly was fortunate to have him in charge of the project.

We love our new shower. Jeff and his team did a terrific job and were a pleasure to work with. They did such a good job, in fact, that we wish we had asked them to remodel the entire bathroom and the kitchen as well.

The whole process was very smooth. All I had to do was pick my tiles and Jeff took care of the rest. His crew was very professional and did a great job. They did a great job cleaning up after themselves and removing all of the debris and trash. I would definitely recommend Jeff to anyone looking to get work done in their home.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. Main man on the project, Elvis, was unbelievable in capability, quality, ingenuity, and care. The plumbing and electrical contractors were also fantastic. Timely completion and on budget. Jeff leads a fantastic team!

I am so pleased with the result. Jeff responded to my initial outreach immediately, and once into the project he continued to be just as involved and responsive. I was extremely impressed with everyone he brought into to work on the project. They were friendly, professional and accommodating and all seemed to have been in the business and worked together for many years. They were helpful in offering suggestions when I asked for them, and Jeff came up with some great solutions to a tricky bathroom. It's an old house, the footprint of the bathroom is small and has slanted ceilings we had to work around. Elvis did a spectacular job with the tiling working around all the angles and making everything perfect. The overall result seems much more spacious and modern. In addition to Elvis, Gary, the electrician and Bruce, the glass man who also created a custom mirror for us were also great to work with. Jeff was very realistic in the time projection for the project. We couldn't be happier and I would strongly recommend them.

Jeff was the second person I contacted and right away I knew he was the contractor I needed. Everyone on the team is amazing . They are professional courteous and reliable. The quality of their work is exceptional. The plumbers, electricians, painters, plasterers, tilers,hardwood floor installers, countertop fabricators and of course Jhonny and Danny,all work as a team. Jeff the woodworker did custom cabinets that are exceptional. We are very pleased with the quality of work from everyone on the team. Jeff and his crew have our highest recommendations. Jeff is extremely prompt in his communication either by phone or email. Everyone associated with this renovation is top notch. As with any Old hous, issues come up. All problems were dealt with quickly and professionally. Considering the record amount of snow we had the beginning of the year everyone was here doing their job. What a great team....thanks everyone

The quote was just too high for us. Perhaps we have a misconception about how much this sort of work might cost, but based on what I've seen on other reviews of work on kitchens/ baths, the quote seemed really high. While the walls are plaster and would need to be replaced, and the job would involve some electrical and plumbing, no walls were to be moved, no outside walls were to be broken through... We'd be happy to have him do the job if the price were not what it is.

Jeff and his crew are great! Although he had a busy schedule he was able to promptly fit in our project and complete our bathroom within a very reasonable timetable. The work they did is amazing and the bathroom came out perfect. He and his team are great communicators and consistently checked in with us to make sure each part of the project was to our liking. We made some decisions/additions mid project and he was able to accommodate without issue. He and his team take pride in their work, are highly skilled and honest. The price that was quoted was the price we paid. I am looking forward to unleashing these guys on our kitchen in the near future. Thanks Jeff and Team!

This is the second major project for which we have retained Jeff Veglia. See my review from March 25, 2014. Jeff and his crew are everything you could want in a general contractor team: responsive, reliable, professional, accommodating, knowledgeable, attentive to detail, dedicated to quality craftsfmanship. Jeff did complete demo and renovation of our kitchen in 2013 (as noted in the prior report). This winter (2015), we had a pipe burst (due to our heating system shutting down as a result of running out of oil -- no fault of Jeff or his construction) and flooded the kitchen and the basement below it. We had to complete demo the kitchen again, but were able to retain and re-use all the cabinets, granite and appliances (save for the wall oven, which seems to have had the electronics fried by the water damage). Simultaneously, we had ice dams and as a result had severe water damage in three bathrooms, and into various bedroom and office space walls. Jeff's crew has been in our home almost every day for the past 6 months. They managed to push forward all of the sub-projects simultaneously, coordinating subcontractors in and out of our house, always very accommodating of our famiily's scheduling and personal needs, and paying very close attention to the quality of workmanship. In particular, the tile work done by his employee, Benjamin Franco, is superb. Jeff is fair in his pricing and deeply cares about his clients and their satisfaction. I can't wait until we have the resources to undertake another bathroom renovation or even a smaller construction project. -- we'll just call Jeff. No need for bids or quotes. He is our contractor now.

A++++ I have to say Jeff and his crew were A+ I had originally contacted him back around the beginning of summer for an estimate. He scheduled an appointment to come out and take a look. He was on time and sent the estimate within the week. I then contacted him to see if it were possible to schedule the job in September as I would be away for a couple of weeks. He was very accommodating and his crew were early and very thorough and professional. I also have to say Jeff went above and beyond to help me out with a nightmare dishwasher issue. I went through 3 new dishwashers because the places I purchased and returned them from were giving me incorrect (standard size ) information. Apparently "Standard Size" is different with different models. He sensed my frustration and took the time to find one for me that would actually fit ! . The plumbers and electricians had to come out to my house on 3 different occasions only to find the dishwashers were not standard for my standard location ! I am extremely happy with Jeff and his crew with their expertise, professionalism and all in all GREAT service ! We had remodeled our Master Bathroom about 11 years earlier with a company that had a very good reputation, but the quality of the workmanship, particularly the tile installation resulted in our need to redo the Master Bathroom much earlier than we had ever expected. As a result of this experience, we were determined to find a contractor that would do the job correctly the first time and stand behind his work. We received several estimates from other Angie?s List A-rated contractors, but from the moment we initially met Jeff, there was a sense that he was the only person we wanted to handle our remodeling effort. Jeff listened to our desires and offered suggestions on ways to proceed, but he always stayed focused on our vision. Within several days of meeting with Jeff, we had a detailed proposal on the scope of work for the bathroom remodel and a breakdown of the cost for the work. After we received all of our estimates from the other contractors we contacted, we decided that while Jeff?s estimate was not the lowest, the confidence and trust we had in him was worth paying a little more for the expectations of having the job done correctly the first time. We talked with Jeff about his recommended suppliers and made appointments to meet with the individuals to begin preparation for the remodel. We contacted Gary Cedrone to select our fixtures for the bathroom. Gary had an in-depth knowledge of the products and guided us in the selection of quality fixtures. Gary?s recommendations were much appreciated as he pointed out options between various brands, and helped guide us in selecting fixtures that met our needs, but in many cases were not the highest priced brand. His knowledge of the products made our selection of the fixtures an easy task and we are very happy with the choices we made. To further our appreciation of dealing with Gary, when the plumber was doing the initial rough in, he realized that the wrong shower valve had been delivered. Mick the plumber contacted Gary and within an hour, a courier delivered the proper part and Mick was able to quickly finish his task. We also visited Steve and Charlie to select the material for the countertop and bench in the shower. Both were very knowledgeable about the countertop options and helped us select a quartz product that would complement the tile and vanity we selected. The installed countertop looks great in the bathroom. On the day that the remodel was to begin, Jeff told us that John and Danny would arrive at the house about 7:30 in the morning to begin the demo effort. Both men arrived right on time and spent some time detailing how they were going to proceed with the demo. They installed carpet protector over the stairs and drop cloths over the hardwood floors. When we arrived home that night, the majority of the bathroom was demo?d and the area was meticulously cleaned. They arrived the following day to complete the demo effort and had the bathroom down to the studs an less than two days. Jeff?s electrician Gary, and plumbers Tony and Mick, arrived the following day to begin the electrical and plumbing rough-in. It was quite evident that both the electrician and the plumber have worked together in the past. Both teams were very easy to work with, both asking our desires for placement of switches, lights and shower valve and shower head. They both made recommendations based on their experience and suffice it to say, we are extremely happy with the results. Based on our negative experience 11 years prior with the tiling, we were very focused on the installation of the tile for this remodel. We spent approximately $5000.00 for the tile for this job, and we wanted to ensure that the tile was professionally installed. Jeff?s tile installer Franco and his assistant Adrian arrived to install the tile. Franco immediately measured the area and inventoried the tile we had purchased. He asked if we would like him to design the layout, which we immediately agreed to. Franco spent close to an hour laying out a design that would flow from the wainscoting on the outside walls into the shower stall. The end result is a beautiful design which compliments the tile and the selected fixtures. Franco?s expertise in tile is evident in the exceptional installation of the tile. All grout lines are straight and evenly spaced, and each piece of tile is level with the next piece. We can find no flaws in the tile installation. As Franco told us, he has a passion for tile which is evident in the quality of his work. He is an artist! Jeff?s plasterer Nick plastered the walls and ceilings, leaving a finished result that was perfectly smooth. I couldn?t find a flaw in the finish coat. The walls and ceiling look great! Once the plastering and painting was completed, we contacted Jeff?s shower door contractor Barry, to select and install a full glass shower door. Barry was very knowledgeable about the glass products and advised us as we selected the door and glass panel. The door was professionally installed and looks and works great. Overall, we could not be happier with our selection of Jeff and his crew to remodel the bathroom. While we had to wait to get on his schedule, the wait was worth it. Whether we were talking to Jeff or one of the members of his crew, all our questions were answered quickly and courteously. Every member of Jeff?s team was very professional, courteous and treated us and our house with respect. This is truly a group of professionals who take pride in the job they do. Jeff and his crew will be returning to our house in the future to remodel our Main Bathroom. This time, we will only be calling Jeff Veglia to do the remodel!

I obtained multiple quotes for remodeling the master bath and installing the laundry room. Jeff stood out for his perceptive comments and questions, and his estimate was detailed and reasonable (middle of the pack, pricewise). Once we arranged for him to do the work, he arrived with a team of subcontractors with whom he has long relationships. The plumber, electrician, carpenter, painter - all work well together and, to a man, are precise, expert, and professional. Their work was so good, that my projects kept expanding and eventually almost tripled in size. The tiling in the master bath was so beautifully done that I kept adding more and more difficult tiling. Everything is superb. The master carpentry is exquisite - my laundry room with built in cabinets is nicer than my kitchen was in my old house. The best part of this experience was dealing with Jeff. Over months of work, I never had a problem contacting him. About 90% of the time, he answered his cell phone on the first ring. The other 10%, he would get back to me immediately. I never went a full day waiting for him to respond. As you can imagine, with a project of this size, numerous issues arise. I learned to trust that Jeff was committed to making sure every detail conformed to my instructions and would be completed to my total satisfaction. Caveat: If you want your work done fast, cheap, or shoddy, look elsewhere.

It went very well and it went better then I expected. I would highly recommend Jeff. He is a great communicator and very reliable person.

Jeff was amazing. I had had a bad experience with someone else and Jeff made me feel at ease right away. He gave me a very reasonable estimate and was professional and very trustworthy. I was away for the entire construction, and was a bit nervous, but Jeff called me with any questions he had and kept me apprised of his progress. I returned home to a clean house and a beautiful new tiled bathroom. I would definitely recommend Jeff Veglia to my friends and hope to need his services again!

Jeff's team is excellent! Elvis and Mario are outstnading workers and really pay attention to detail. They did a really great and beautiful job. They are very clean, reliable, and professional. I didn't have to worry about leaving them in my house. They locked up every day when they left. We also have two cats, and they were careful not to let them out. Jeff is very responsive to anything that we ask him. When you call or e-mail him, he returns the calls or emails right away. They are on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for - excellent quality work! We are very happy enjoying our beautiful new bathrooms.

Jeff is very easy to work with, has valuable recommendations. He keeps in compliance with all regulations, uses licensed subs for plumbing and electrical. And very important- Jeff has the best communication habits, answers his phone, keeps in touch, checks and responds to all emails promptly.

We were looking to update a very small 3/4 bathroom. Including the shower stall the bathroom is about 30 square feet (5 feet by 6 feet). The $18000 quote, which did not include the cost of any new items like vanity, toilet, mirror, sink, etc, came in at $600/square foot. While I'm sure the job would have been thorough and high quality the price was far above our other quotes.

Jeff and his crew were excellent. Jeff got back to me quickly after initial contact and came over to look at the job. His estimate was fairly in line with others I had gotten. His was a bit higher but he came very highly recommended by others that have used his services so I felt the cost was worth the quality and peace of mind. He was very flexible about scheduling time to do the work as this was a comparatively small job for his crew. The crew were great! They arrived at the scheduled time each day of the job. They even came on a Saturday. They were polite, worked hard and did a great job cleaning up at the end of each work day. They even took a little time to explain what they were doing as I was quite curious. They made a very conscious effort to minimize the dust from the job as well which I greatly appreciated. It's not going to be perfect living in even a small construction zone but they made it as good as I think it could reasonably be. I would absolutely recommend Jeff and his crews to other people. I hope if I ever hire him again, it's for something I want to do, not something I have to do! But if I ever have any problems again, he'll be the first contractor I call.
