Arthur said our $30k bathroom Reno would take three weeks. Seven months later with the job unfinished and final inspections still pending, he told me to stop calling him and to finish the job myself. + Shower tiles cracking weeks later due to poor installation.

We had Arthur remodel our master bath. We made no changes to the footprint, just freshened up the existing bath. Unfortunately this took over 2 1/2 months! There were little inconsistencies with quality of the work and at the end of the project he apologized & admitted he didn't do his best work for us. Fast forward 3 years, we discover a bad leak in our master closet coming from the master shower. We had a lot of mold and a wet carpet. As we don't frequently check the floor in the back of our closet, we have no idea how long this was going on. We immediately called him & asked him to come check it out. He came over & took out part of the wall & said he would stand by his workmanship & come back to fix it. We never heard from him again. Its been 3 months! We have left at least 10 voicemails; we have texted & emailed him repeatedly. We finally had to put in a claim with our insurance company as we could not use the shower. When the new plumber & contractor came in & took apart our shower to fix it they were amazed by what they saw. They showed us how bad the workmanship was underneath. The membrane was sliced in a few locations, floor tile not butted up to wall tile, no trap in the drain, pipe wasn't glued and the tile on the wall was put up with only small patches of mortar here & there. He finally texted back 3 months later indicating he was no longer in the business, but we have since found out thats not true. We sent a formal letter & email to Arthur requesting his insurance information as we have a $1000 deductible that we should not have to pay out of pocket due to his lousy workmanship. We still have not heard back from him. We understand that sometimes things happen but this was a LOT of unnecessary things happening due to bad workmanship and a contractor should stand by his work! We would never recommend him.
