Tony Gideika Plumbing and Heating

For your own good, please do not hire Tony. Tony is dishonest and uncooperative. I hired Tony to fix a leaky faucet at my apartment in Boston. His plumber arrived and determined the faucet was unfixable and set off to buy a replacement. Two hours later, he returned with a new faucet from the Home Depot (that is maybe 10 minutes away). Tony will tell you he charges time and material. I knew he had take advantage of me with the time it took to get to Home Depot, but that is nothing compared to the dishonesty when it comes to materials. Tony charged me $195 for the faucet. When I asked for an itemized receipt of the charges Tony said he would provide them but never did. Not surprising, he can not provide the evidence that he padded his invoice. Home Advisor is a great site and I would use it to pick a contractor again. Please trust this non-recommendation, do not hire Tony, he is not honest.

Very responsive and professional.

Hired them to replace two bathroom faucets and was quoted $150 first hour and $100 for each additional hour. The owner estimated two hours total. Ended up taking 4 hours and charged me $435 for only one faucet replacement. When I questioned the bill the technician called the owner (Mr. Gideika), and he was not receptive or accommodating was out of line and condescending and spent the entire call justifying his rates and time taken to replace a single faucet. I recommended that he inform customers if a job is going to take longer than what was originally quoted and he told me not to tell him how to run his business and that he was a master plumber. Needless to say I would not recommend this company to anyone. Bottom line very expensive service, terrible customer service and ended up spending 2.5 times more on labor than the cost of the faucet.

Rob was extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They were very quick to respond, timely, clean and worked very efficiently. Price a bit on the high side.

Was able to identify problem and resolve efficiently

The plumber had attempted to replace a part incorrectly that may have led to pipe damage. We paid extra for the error due to the extra time & a trip to the hardware store to correct the error.

Super Professional. Contacted me immediately and came the next day. Very knowledgeable and friendly. They are our plumbers from now on!!

I would highly recommend Tony's plumbing and heating services. They are very professional courteous and quick! He came in and knew exactly what the problem was. They are clean and thorough. He just acquired a new customer!

THEY ADDED BILL WRONG 150.00 AND 150.00 THEIR TOTAL 350.00 OVER CHARGE OF $50.00 THEY WILL NOT RETURN. PAID 390.00 SHOULD HAVE BEEN 340.00 300.00 AND 40.00 SUPPLIES 340.00 check made out to $390.00

This plumber made a hole in my celing with water and he wont admit fault. He will not admit responsibility. He has messed me up and damaged my house.

Courteous and competent

Tony is very attentive a listen to my problem in details. Was willing to help. I found the job a little in the high price. The plumber that actually went to do the job didn't explain give an explanation.

Tony never showed up, blamed the oil company, and a lot of back and forth between the oil company guy on the phone. replaced the metric valve, but that didn't fix the issue.

They were prompt , friendly , clean and efficient . If you need to have a Symmons Temptrol shower valve replaced these are the men to call .

The project was well done.
