Dave the plumber which came was very good and did the job. I did however disagree with a $200 service call and no offering a free quote. The price was on the high side and would not use them again... charged high for a disposal machine which I saw online same brand and model for much less then what they charged. Charged by the hour. Ended up taking 1.5hours and the Company made the guy round to 2hr job instead of 1hr as they already getting $200 for showing up. Again service was good, but the pricing was just simply put highway robbery.

I liked the fast and responsive service, however I did not appreciate the 20% up-charge once the job started. (I also don t think the credit card processing fee should be covered by the customer.)

I felt the work that was done was quality and he arrived on time and got the job done fairly quickly. But I requested an emergency call but he could not come until 8:00 the next morning. So I paid for emergency call but I don t feel coming the next day is should be considered an emergency response. I had a pretty major leak in my cellar.

To be honest, at first I would have rated this company highly. They were proactive and showed up quickly to replace the mixing valve in my shower. It was expensive, but you have to expect that with a plumber. He was professional and did a good job. What I did not notice at the time was that while bracing the pipe in the wall behind the shower, the wood he used must have been too thick and actually put so much force against the back of the shower surround in the one spot that it cracked the shower surround in about 8 places. It was by the downspout, and we did not actually notice for a few months. It just looked like a shadow from the downspout until you looked up close. When I talked to Tony about it, he took Zero responsibility for it. First he tried to argue they put no bracing behind the shower, which was completely false. Then he said it was because the shower sure was old and just needed to be replaced. He did all of this without even looking at it and told me it was not due to the bracing he put Directly behind where the cracks are. This was a direct result of the bracing they put in and it being too big for the space, forcing the wall in and causing the cracks. Needless to say I will not be using him again. Very disappointed in his response.

I found Tony Gideika on HomeAdvisor. I had a leaky toilet. I booked an appointment and they got back to me immediately, and a plumber came that very day and fixed it. Sean was efficient, professional, and courteous. I would definitely call Gideika Plumbing again for any plumbing project .

Project: Installed and replaced bathroom faucet and replaced all water turn offs that were corroded. I found Tony Gideika Plumbing on line and he responded with a phone call immediately. He sent his guy to my house the next day. He did not charge me anymore for a Saturday visit. I was impressed with that. He sent Sean (I think that was his name) He was exceptionally knowledgeable and very informative. He walked me through everything he did and the job was taken care of quickly. I would highly recommend Tony Gideika Plumbing. As a side note, before I got on line I called 5 other Plumbers in Marblehead. Only two got back to me and could not schedule me for at least a week. I still have not head back from the other 3 plumbers.

David was great. He let me know he would be a little late, but was very efficient. Got the job done fairly quickly.

Shaun arrived on Saturday morning as agreed, got right to work & kept me in the loop as he worked on our project. He was very professional & left both bathrooms in very nice condition. The new faucets look great & I’m very pleased. Thank you, Shaun, for the tip on the cleaning spray.

Another plumber didn't show up so I called this company. Shawn was there within 3 hours, on a Saturday, no extra charge for last minute or weekend. He was professional, explained everything. I would recommend them.
