They came on the weekend to do the job with the good weather to do the work.

Elmer and his crew were very professional and their work is great! We hired them for our backyard patio and fireplace. I told Elmer from the beginning our budget and he made sure we didn t go over it! Highly recommended.

Elmer and his crew did a great job repairing a block retaining wall, plus a paver patio and walkway. They look better than they did when they were first installed. Very happy with the result.

He has bad communications. Before I paid him the first half of the money his communication after I gave him the money he stopped replying to my voicemails and text messages. He told me he does everything with his crew and the he subbed out the framing of the stairs, he subbed out the concrete. When they had it delivered it was to watery and they made a mess all over my existing sidewalk. They didn't clean up after themselves.

They were very courteous, and cleaned up work area. Punctual, and very hard working.

I hired Stone Masonry to extend a previous patio. The job was done in a weekend. On the following Monday, there was heavy rain. The pavers had turned a cloudy white color. After many attempts of contact with Elmer Zacarias, he answered his phone. I told him of the problem and his answer was the rain caused the polymeric sand to cause this cloudy, white color. He assured me it would go away in a couple weeks, which it did not. Again I tried to contact and sent pictures which took quite a few attempts for him to finally call back. Elmer said the rain caused this problem and it would cost us an additional $400 to take care of his error. He then said he has been having this problem with polymeric sand with other customers. Since he is the professional I wanted to know why he did not tell us to cover the patio since rain was in the forecast. He refused to fix his mistake. This is extremely disappointing. The job cost $2500 and he wants another $400 to fix his error. I believe these other reviews for Pavers are FAKE. He did a POOR job and will never be recommended. My additional research showed that the Polymeric sand needs to be removed from the pavers surface before getting wet and a blower is recommended. Elmer's brother Nelvin did the work on my patio. He did not have a blower and asked to use our broom. So again, not done correctly, then Nelvin used our hose to spray down the patio which still had polymeric sand on pavers. The previous pavers we had done 6 months prior never had this issue. The job was done correctly although the person is dead now so I researched another company. I thought I had hired a professional but I did not!!

Vendor changed start date twice without approval from the customer.

Elmer Zacarias and his crew have mowed my lawn in Peabody every 2 weeks from July to October for the last two years (2016-2017). They are professional, friendly and reasonably priced. I highly recommend them for mowing and seasonal lawn cleanups.

They are very capable and have great pride in their beautiful wall and paver driveway. I recommend them highly.

Customer service was an issue in that it took longer than usual to get proof of insurance. Also; the start date was changed twice, and no notification once. Once the crew arrived; they were diligent, finishing the project in three days and ending on a Sunday am on a holiday weekend. The quality of the work was excellent, and I would hire this company again.

My garbage cans were not put back in their original spots. Also I wish they could use smaller mower because my yard is not huge! All in all, they did a good job!

I just engaged Elmer' s company to help us out with a massive spring cleanup and lawn mowing. Showed up on time , did an excellent job in bad weather conditions. I recommend them and will continue doing business with the company on stone masonry projects.

So far, Elmer at Stone Masonry has done one spring cleanup for us. He will also be doing biweekly mowing. The cleanup was a big job, and he quoted the lowest price of the 4 contractors from whom we received estimates. He and his team of 3 did a very good job with the cleanup. Some leaves that were matted down were not removed, however, which is why I gave the work quality a 4 rather than a 5. Also, Elmer upped the price while on the job, saying he hadn't agreed to do certain things that I was certain we had, and one that I wasn't sure about. To avoid this problem, I recommend writing down what will be covered in your cleanup so both of you have a copy and there won't be any misunderstandings. This problem was why I gave customer service a 3.5 rather than a higher score. We look forward to working with Elmer and Stone Masonry and trust we will work well together going forward, now that we are more aware of how to communicate more successfully. It is a plus that this company also does walkways and such.
