Never, never hire contractor Philip Brienze. He will probably provide an estimate lower than other contractors and tell you he will take care of everything just the way you want the job done but that is where it ends. He substitutes substandard materials and provides poor workmanship. He cheated me out of approximately $800 when he did a bait and switch on the fence material. Instead of using the 0.75" cedar fence we agreed on he installed 0.33" untreated discounted pine. His workers were absolutely clueless, clearly not professionals. They didn't seem to know what they were doing and each time Philip Brienze showed up he just kept yelling at the workers. As a result, all the work was just a disaster. Besides of poor warped material with cracks and holes, the fence was installed improperly; it's weak, uneven and shaky, the retaining cement wall was fixed, but the surface is uneven, crooked and not smooth and the window he replaced is much smaller in size then others and is not well insulated... When I saw a negative review online and brought this to Philip Brienze's attention he told me it was the customer with a bad attitude. I wish I listened to the review and never hired him. Phil Brienze has NOT been a honest contractor. his word means nothing. He gives contractors a bad name. Avoid hiring him, save your money and nervous system.

What ever you do not hire this company to install new gutters or new windows. My husband and I hired this company because they gave us the best price to install new gutters and windows in our home. First, the owner of the company sent three young men to our home to install the gutters, none of these men knew what they were doing. The aluminium on the fascia was all cut too short and they left exposed wood. They cut all the downspouts at different heights and put the elbows in backwards, not even the strips that hold the downspouts to the house were put on even, one side would be going up and the other down. Some of trim on the windows were nailed with multiple nails and others there wasn't even a nail in the trim, which you could just pull out the aluminium strip. On some of the window trim they used pieces. The trim looked like a puzzle with different odd pieces. The trim that had the nails was bent and warped and looked like it was used from a previous job. The problems with these gutters are too extensive to elaborate even more, also we unfortunately let this company install our windows. The owner, Phil, promised to insulate the windows when he put them in WHICH HE DID NOT! All the aluminium along the windows was cut too short and bent and crooked. He also did not caulk anything! Multiple nails and debris left on property which they also failed to clean up. We hired another contractor too fix the problems that this company failed to fix after multiple complaints to them it cost us an additional $500 to do this.
