Armando and his team are outstanding. First class people, first class work. Responded very quickly to my request for a quote, provided a quote within hours, gave us a start date, and showed up exactly as scheduled, and kept us informed via text and emails. Helped us work through some ideas. A pleasure to work with. As a side benefit, he fixed a stone wall that needed a little attention. We are in discussions and planning our next project with him.

Our project went well from start to finish. Orlando is a true PRO. His skills as a mason are impeccable. He pays great attention to detail. His prices are very reasonable. He is easy and enjoyable to work with and he cleans up his work site. What more can you ask for? We’ve been wanting to clean up the backyard for a few years now and we are thrilled with the results. We’ve gotten kudos from all of our neighbors, too. We recommend him wholeheartedly.

I had North Star do a foundation for a shed and build a very large patio. Armando was fantastic, he and his crew did a fantastic job. They were exceptional. They were there when they said they were going to be, they made sure the job was done to my liking, and believe you me I am not easy to please at times. He addressed every question that I had and they went above and beyond. The patio is something my family and I will enjoy for years to come. If you are looking for a mason this is the company to use, I would recommend them very highly.

From start to finish all expectations were met in a consistent timely manner. Communication was A+ Armando and crew did an excellent job and I will hire him again for another project I want done.

Armando and everyone at North Star Masonry was exceptional. Once I called, Armando came over right away to look at the site, take some measurements, and discuss exactly what I wanted and the best process for getting there. Later that day he sent me a detailed estimate that was more than fair. The job itself went perfectly. Because of limited access to where the shed was to be located, Armando and his crew had to excavate the site and mix 120+ bags of concrete by hand. All supplies had to be carried or wheelbarrowed in. The end result was very clean and professionally done. Even the ramp that I requested at the last minute. To summarize: North Star Masonry provided prompt service, good communication, hard work, flexibility, and professional craftsmanship, all for a fair price.

Armando and his helper did a beautiful job making my concrete walkway. Because of the slight slope of my front yard, the walkway would need to be a step up from the sidewalk. Armando repurposed some pieces of granite I had leftover from a previous project, and used them for the step. He also helped me lure my dog across the length of the wet concrete walkway so I will be able to enjoy his paw prints now and in the future. Both of these were small details that gave a standard walkway a personalized look. I will definitely call Armando again when I need my next masonry project done!
