Majesty Roofing Company

Before selecting a roofer, I contacted a few professionals and rec'd written estimates. Based on negotiated job costs and personal interviews, I decided to go with Majesty Roofing. Ivan was the most courteous and patient of those interviewed. Proprietor Ivan Henriquez and his crew did an outstanding job. They stripped and replaced the old roof in 2-3 days. Ivan was very nice to deal with. He performed some extras at no cost. Used quality architectural shingles. Also important was the frequent cleaning up of debris. Roof looks great.

Mostly fine but the repair was not sufficient to fix the problem. We had to have further work done and did not call Majesty back for this.

I can’t say enough good things about Ivan and his crew. He is the most responsive contractor I have ever dealt with. He has excellent communication skills. He returned calls right away and was very helpful from the start. I’ve had a minor roof leak for the past year and knew that I finally had to get it checked out. This was an old roof and I haven't had major work on it since I moved in which was over 35 years ago. I got several quotes prior to making my final decision. He was honest with me on the work that needed to be done. Out of a handful of roofing contractors, Ivan was the ONLY one who actually took the time to get on a ladder and get on the roof to check it out. Other contractors would just quote me by looking from the ground up. Sorry, but my roof isn’t easy to see from ground level. One guy didn’t even bring a ladder. So from the begging, I knew that Ivan was going to be the right choice. His quote was very reasonable considering the work that needed to be done. They started when they said they would and they showed up early every day and worked hard throughout the day. They were extremely professional and also very friendly and eager to please. They did an amazing clean up job as well. I hardly found any nails or debris at all. I have three dogs so I was nervous about finding nails in my yard but have found nothing at all. I hope to never have any more roofing issues after this, but if I did, I would call Ivan and his crew again. I also gave a couple of neighbors his card because they should also share in my great experience. If given the opportunity, work with this company! This is one number I promise to never lose!

All around positive experience. Called Ivan when I was having reoccurring leak issues with a fairly new roof. Could not get the company that installed the roof to come out as they attributed the issues to a bad winter. Ivan was extremely responsive and took time to go up on the roof and inspect the problem areas and gave me very reasonable options to fix the issues that resulted from poor installation workmanship.. He also provided me a very reasonable quote to repair some exterior trim and shingles that needed replacement due to the issues. Install went very smoothly, good communication, arrived on time, through job. Would highly recommend and would definitely use again.

Great. Ivan got back to me about 4 days after I bought the Angie's Deal ($99 for a roof inspection and minor repairs). We made arrangements for a day and a time and he was right on time. Inspected my whole roof and made a couple of suggestions on areas to keep an eye on. He replaced the glue/cement that the previous company used to affix the shingles to my porch with a different material that he thought would be better. He was pretty sure that it would do the trick and stop the leak. We've had a couple of rainstorms since (one heavy one) and there is no longer a leak! Thanks Ivan!!

They were prompt and professional. The workers that came to our home provided exactly what we had paid for (minor repair and general inspection) and did not try to sell us anything more. We would call on them again.

He came and looked at the problem and outlined how he would approach these 2 jobs. He recommended a membrane roof for the sunporch after tearing out the old roof and replacing any rotted sheathing, including edging and repairs to some minor soffit damage there. For the main house gutters, he offered a couple of color options on the gutters and downspouts and indicated that he would wrap the entire roof edge in aluminum sheathing before putting the new gutters on, which would prevent any further structural damage, ever, even years form now when the new gutters get old and start leaking. He also included time to replace some rotted or damaged soffit trim in a couple of places. His initial price seemed high, but I later found out that it was fair because his team does a thorough, professional job and doesn't cut any corners. They were fast and left no unfinished business. They moved and replaced a satellite dish int he process of working, they fabricated the gutter parts and sheathing right there onsite, they worked fast like they could do it int heir sleep, and afterwards they rolled a big magnet over the lawn to catch any stray nails that may have fallen. The whole time his crew were performing like clockwork and even singing songs as they worked. The results were great. My father-in-law is a roofer (although out of state) and he looked over the work in a subsequent visit and indicated the work was done well. We were very happy and the work is clearly top-notch.

The owner contacted me less than 24 hours after my purchase online. He showed up early, was very professional and extremely knowledgable. He thoroughly explained his observations and ultimately told me my roof was in good working condition. Very honest and I would definitely conduct business with Majesty in the future!

Great. My husband purchased a deal. I don't recall the exact person but it was under $200 and everything in the deal was fully covered. Great work. Would hire again.

Quick and professional, they did not recommend any additional work on the roof. Offered referral for moss removal.

I submitted a request to have them come out & check my roof. I never heard from them. They didn't charge me.

The work was fine, I just decided to go with a different roofer when I replaced my roof. No issues here though.

The contractor did a very brief check of the roof and said nothing needed to be fixed even though a month earlier our house inspection revealed a few minor issues that could have been fixed. It didn't seem very thorough and he didn't spend much time at the house. No photos and no report as promised in the deal. It was a waste of money purchasing this deal.

The representative gave us an estimate to repair our roof.

I don't remember that he did anything other than just walk. He got up on the roof but I don't think he did anything. The price was okay. For the quality, I have no idea. For punctuality, I do not remember. He didn't seem thorough.

Quick followup to purchase of big deal. Gave them three days in late Oct and came back with a day in the first week of Oct. Said I wouldn't be home for the inside house inspection but would like the outside inspected with minor repairs to shingles as needed based on the big deal details with estimate. Emailed back & forth, they asked for my email address to send photos, inspection report and action plan. But I only got back email that the house needed full roof replacement & gutters with a price of $9000 for roof & $4000 for gutters. Nothing else. No photos no report - not sure if they even looked at the roof from any place other than the ground. We know that the roof / gutter are old but wanted to catch any maintenance issues that may cause water/roof damage before the winter comes in order to get us through to spring to replace them in 2016. Was a waste of money and not helpful or worth the time.

Ivan was very professional, on time. Reached out to me to schedule an appointment. I appreciated his quick response Arrived on top and did the request job. Couldn't ask for more.

I'm a little disappointed with the roof packages in general because I did one down in Connecticut as well. The one good thing I can say about this Majesty Roofing Company is they went up, they did a couple patches, it was very quick, you know, like I don't feel you get a lot for the $120 you pay, like there literally done in five, not even ten minutes because they have so many of these that there processing through like one we chose down in Connecticut in a rental house and they said they had like 90 of them to process through, so there just going through them like,you know, like an industrial line kind of thing. The only thing good that I can say about them is he did the patches obviously quick but he didn't try to sell me anything and he wasn't trying to like, you know, you got a bad roof here you need to replace it, he was like, and I asked him how's it look up there and stuff and I knew it was getting old so we thought we would have another five years when I was told that it should be replaced then. He didn't try to scare me or lie to me or you got to go someplace else, you know, he didn't try to sell me off on anything.

It was interesting. It basically resulted in the gentleman came out and he did go up on the roof which was good but he basically after 5 minutes up on top of the house came down and concluded that we needed the whole back half of the house roof replaced. It was just a little bit disappointing. I can go out and get a free estimate on a roof. Instead I paid $99 bucks for him to do that and then when I asked for photos and a report and things like that that I thought might be included he told me there's no need to take any photos, you need a new roof. Other than that, I guess it was okay. To me, I felt like it was a waste of money. I also had a question about my gutter and he told me that it was improperly hanging off the side of the house. Apparently that was not part of the repair. There was nothing that he did other than say I needed repairs.

This was the roof inspection, small repairs special. Ivan told me I needed a new roof and he gave me a very reasonable estimate. He was courteous. I read the reviews on the roof inspections-small repairs and many of the customers didn't feel they got much from it, so he got low marks. I do think he is trying to drum up business. I think if he lowered the price and was clearer about what the customer gets; he would get higher marks. I am going to get a few more estimates and will go through this winter with the current roof. I'll also continue to watch his reviews for actual roofing work, to see if they improve. I would like to give him the work because he is local, but I also want a high quality job.

Didn't seem like he did anything. He just went up to the room and then gave me a quote for complete replacement.

Provider came out to perform a small job. They were professional and courteous. Would definitely hire again.

They were supposed to come do some repairs and maintenance. They did not do any maintenance. Took off 2 shingles and said they could not do any repairs. Gave us an estimate of $11,000 for a roof replacement. No work was done. Basically used the deal as a vehicle to get more business. Not a trustworthy vendor.
