Exceptional quality work. Mike Russo is truly an outstanding masonry contractor. He is extremely reliable and responsive and clearly passionate about his work. He is very invested in every job and concerned about pleasing the customer and making sure you are happy with the final result. The workmen that work for him are so nice and so skilled at their jobs, and Mike oversees all work to make sure everything is done to his high standards. His company first did work for us in 2014 rebuilding our backyard patio, which included the installation of a beautiful stone wall with built-in grill. We were so pleased with the results, that we hired them again in April of 2016 to redo two sets of front steps and our front walkway. Again, as before, the work that his company does is of the highest quality. He originally came recommended to us by our contractor, and we could not have been more pleased. We would never use anybody else, and would highly recommend them.

He was terrible. I have no good experience with him. He didn't do the actual work, he sent over some guys and they were very nice. They cleaned up afterward. We had an issue with a small thing that was not finish, he never came back. After for a year I finally gave up. I would not recommend them to anybody. He's not follow through. I would not use him again in the future.

They did a great job, showed up on time, and cleaned up perfectly after the job. Shortly after that, the last unit along the walkway decided to have their patio paved with the same material as the walkway, and have it integrated with the walkway. Mr. Russo and his crew removed some of the newly installed pavers, and integrated the neighbor's patio seamlessly. The problem was that, in installing the new patio, they left a small open space next to my bottom concrete step; it was left open to the dirt. The space was small, about 8" x 2", but right next to the bottom step where it could easily be seen. I called Mr. Russo right away, and he assured me he'd be back to fill it in properly. Many phone calls, emails, and months later, it was still not filled. I took a picture of it and sent it to me via email; he finally replied that he "didn't have time", and wasn't going to fix it. Obviously not my idea of good customer service. Too bad, because the work he'd done up to that point was notable. Really soured me on his company, and so I can't recommend him as a landscaper contractor who cares about details or keeping a good customer relationship. An outside contractor who was here doing unrelated work finally filled in the hole with concrete.

They told us it would take two days and they had it done when they said they would. He had a lot of good ideas with how to deal with our drainage system and patio. He was very knowledgable and did good quality work.
