It was done well and on time. It only took a couple of hours to do the work and they were punctual.

They were good -- I was satisfied. I did think they were more expensive for smaller jobs but their price was reasonable for this job.

Everything was just fine. I have no complaints. They were accommodating of my schedule and were able to help me with a house I was getting ready to sell.

The electricians were very helpful and professional. They arrived on time, and completed the work that we agreed upon. My only complaint is that they didn't finish installing the electrical panel on the first visit, as agreed, and it took them a month to schedule another time to come out to finish the work. Nonetheless, they did remember to call to schedule completion of the job, so I know it was on their radar.

It went well, even it took two trips to get it done

Unfortunately had a lot of trouble arranging for a visit to get an estimate. Tried to schedule multiple visits to get an estimate but for some reason their estimator kept spacing on the appointments and just didn't show. Once Karl finally made it here he was very professional and extremely apologetic. The estimate was actually very competitive (...I suspect some of their aggressiveness on the price had to do with the all the problems just trying to get an estimate). The job entailed running two new 240V circuits from our panel to the opposite side of our house, terminating one in a NEMA 6-50 outlet in the garage and the other hard-wired to an outdoor Level 2 and quot;chargerand quot;. I actually signed the estimate/contract almost immediately and sent it back to the email address listed on the form...the same email address that had sent me the estimate. Unfortunately (again), I don't think anyone actually monitors the messages sent to that mailbox (info@mccurdyelectric.com) as I got absolutely no response for several days. After not hearing anything from them either confirming the signed contract or letting me know when they would be able to schedule the job, I finally emailed the estimator directly to ask what was going on. He said he hadn't seen the signed contract but would be able to schedule the work within 3-4 days. The good news is that the day of the actual work, the two man crew arrived early and were very professional. They finished the install by early afternoon and did a nice job confirming that everything was working before cleaning up and heading out. My only small complaint with the work was the route they chose to run the lines ended up forcing me to move some wall-mounted storage in the garage. If they had run along the wall another 18 inches before choosing to go up and over, everything could have stayed where it was. Overall I'd say the work was high quality and priced aggressively, but I'm honestly not sure that I'd use them again unless they really eliminated all the hassles of getting an estimate and actually scheduling the work.

I tried to get them to confirm with me for an email scheduled appointment and they said they forgot. I took off the day from work. They know there was a miscommunication and sent me a note and I want my money back.

They were adequate but I was not thrilled with them. They didn't clean up after. One guy took the whole day just to run one wire. They first told me that it didn't run where I knew it ran because it was working and then it stopped working, so I knew exactly where it ran to. They didn't seem to know what they were doing. They spent most of the time trying to figure out how to do the job rather than just doing it. I don't know whether he was real busy and he sent out less experienced people than he normally would, but it didn't seem like either one of them knew what they were doing. They had to keep calling in to ask questions. They were nice but they weren't as responsive to my needs as I would have liked. They were on time.

Installed a dishwasher hookup and disposal hookup and switch. Were very professional and did a great job.

John showed up on time and hooked up all the light switches and outlets in my bathroom as I only had exposed wires. He was very professional. The light that I wanted him to hook up did not fit correctly due to the medicine cabinet being installed a bit too hiigh. I told him that I wanted to take advantage of their other offer of doing a 37 point check of all the electrical in the house and he stated he would hook up the new light at that time. Very satisfied.

Inspection went well, but we never received the written report by email and snail mail we were supposed to receive, even after a reminder from us month later. Although we walked through the inspection and were told of findings, we are very disappointed we did not receive the written report.

The installation went okay. It was a little rough because of weather and things had to be changed around a bit. I paid an additional fee to also have the line from the house to the panel also replaced. Three technicians came out and completed the job in about 3 days. They were personable and did nice work. I also talked with them about a generator hook up and they never got back to me with the price on that. The staff was responsive and easy to schedule for the deal. I have had some difficulties getting in touch with them to follow up on finishing the job. We discussed that they would expand the panel with 40 slots for $50-$100 more. They knew I wanted to expand but they never discussed this option with me. It has been a good 10 months since I last heard from the company regarding the expansion.

he checked my property, replaced several GFI. And he made some suggestions. He also help to secure my basement wire. It is a coupon deal for service.

An electrician first came on 20 August but could not do any work outside as it was raining. he prepared the estimate for replacing the main service to the house. Another electrician, who lives in my town, came by on 28 August to finish the outside work. Each was prompt and very friendly/professional.... I would definitely recommend McCurdy Electric to my friends/neighbors.

I wrote requesting further information on cost, and I am still awaiting this. Promised to send an estimate of costs involved---but after five weeks, I had to call for the estimate. An incomplete estimate was finally sent, but I had to write for a complete estimate, but I have not received one to date.

Good. They gave me a proposal for work that needed to be done. They were very thorough and made a good evaluation. They were knowledgeable. The proposal was reasonable. They didn't test the circuits. They were on time.

John was quite professional in doing the inspection of our 40 year old home electrical box and entire electrical system. He pointed out 6 things that he felt needed updating, explaining where and what needed to be done (replacing the electrical box was not one of them). We are expecting both an email and paper version of his inspection report soon.

I didnt use the deal because the type of light he had I couldnt use it on my property. I needed something larger. I felt he should have had other products with him instead of instructing me he could go down the street and charge me an additional $200.00 for another light.

Very honest and easy to talk to. We never got the impression he was trying to scam us or hard sell us on anything. We weren't entirely convinced of his level of expertise, but he seemed reasonably competent.

Loc and Mike did the project for us. They were good to work with. A hole needed to be cut into a tiled bathroom wall and they didn't have the tools or the know-how to do it. They were afraid of breaking the tiles. I had to cut out one of the tiles myself so that they could install an electrical box for the light switch. They did a great job measuring where the box should go and putting the new wiring in. It was nice of them to work with our request to attach the new light to the old light structure even though it was tricky to do. I had to leave for work before the project was completed and my wife signed off on the work. Later I found out that the vanity light was installed with the bottom of the back plate showing. I had to take the light off and replace it so that the light fixture went over the plate to hide it. Also, the light switch/outlet box was put in a little crooked and I had to tweak the positioning to make it look straight. A few days later we noticed the outlet was upside down when a night light was plugged in! I'll have to turn it so it is right side up. Overall, we are generally pleased with the project even though some details didn't come out perfectly. The total price of the project was more than we estimated it would be.

He was really fast - it works great, he re-positioned it so it doesn't shine right inside/in your eyes while you walk up or look out the door.

That price was good but they didnt tell me about the additional cost of them pulling the permit which was another $75 I think! I'd need to look it up. If a permit is needed, its needed. I was curious to see if this was a legit needed permit so when I called the town a month later to see if the permit was pulled it still wast not. When I called the provider they said they were behind on paperwork. We all fall behind but I was already suspicious of this and quot;hiddenand quot; fee and them taking over a month to file, hmm. Anyway, another month goes by we called and it the permit was pulled from our town. All in all good exp but make sure you ask up front regarding any additional fees. Still rating them an A. *note I couldnt recall the exact date of work so guessed it.

Did not do the work, company reneged on the agreed terms day before work.
