Hector's Landscaping

Hector and crew did an excellent job Triming Evergreens and Removing Branches on Several Trees. They were 15 Minutes Early, Courteous, Cleaned Work area, and Competitively Priced. I would refer him to Family and Friends.

Hector was very responsive to my request for a quote, came and gave me an extremely fair price, and was very flexible with scheduling a day for service. He removed several very large dead branches (10 feet), and left my yard as it was before he came, no mess. I highly recommend Hector.

Completed all tasks that we agreed upon. His crew was very friendly and they completed the entire cleanup - they left nothing. Most impressive 1. Cutting down 3-story tree touching deck and house - no damage to anything in the area. In addition, while removing large tree limb from garden that fell in storm - the limb fell onto a wall and fence and did not crush any of the plants, and rose bushes. Their patience and care to not damage any of my wife's favorite plants is very much appreciated. We have used several tree companies over the years - Hector is the Best.. 5 STARS

Hector will show up and tell you he'll finish the job in a matter of days, except he really means it'll take weeks and you'll end up with very mediocre results. We hired Hector to work on our yard to remove several large bushes, remove a shed and a small deck, laying sod grass, and mulching. We knew it was quite a bit of work, but Hector said he could have it done in 3 or 4 days with his team. Long story short, after over a week and a half and the project nowhere near done, I asked him to finish in the next day or two, or stop working on my property. That's when he was able to step up and finish the work. EXCEPT the quality of his work was very mediocre. He ended up laying grass instead of sod (and was only willing to discount the price by $500 although the difference between grass and sod is A LOT more than that amount). He didn't lay down a thick enough layer of mulch, so we now have weeds growing in the areas he mulched. He also didn't treat the areas where he ripped out the weeds, so they're growing back again. In conclusion, I would not recommend Hector. He over-promises and severely under-delivers. And his prices aren't very competitive, so you just end up unhappy with the results and your wallet.

Service was fair to good. The impression was they were kinda pushy trying to sell me product that I didn't want so we ended up using somebody else. It was okay but not professional enough for me continue using them. Instead of pulling the weed they just cut them so it will grow again.

They did a very good job clearing all the leaves off our front and back yard. Although it was drizzling, they decided not to reschedule but worked in the damp weather and did a thorough job cleaning up all the leaves and hauling them away.
