Description of Work: Replace 2 old ceiling boxes and re-install one ceiling fan and clean up the wiring all in hundred year old house. While the over the phone estimate was around $200 it was clear that there were special circumstances that we're going to require much more time and ingenuity once the guy got into it, old gaslight fixtures, plaster and lath, wobbly fan, and more. So, no points subtracted for not meeting the estimate. They came the day after the initial phone call and did thorough and careful work and talked to me about options as he went along and cleaned up well at the end._x000D_|My only complaint is that he talked and explained a little too much which probably cost me an extra hour in the end.

Description of Work: We got three quotes and this was the most reasonable. Bob communicated proactively and responded promptly to every call. His employee, Pedro, was exceptional. He discussed all details, completed work in excellent fashion and took the time to perform and attend to all aspects of the work - taking no shortcuts and seeking me out to discuss all issues. I highly recommend this company.

Description of Work: We have used Bob several times- install lighting, replace lighting fixtures, change electrical wiring. It was a pleasure doing business with him and his help. He returned our phone call promptly. His help was on time, friendly and kept everything clean and neat- cleaned up after themselves. They also explained what they were doing- in detail- so that there was no mystery. Very fair pricing for the work we had done. Highly recommend him.

Description of Work: We moved into a new home that had gas energy and a gas washer/dryer hookup. We had a new energy efficient electric washer/dryer set, however, and there was no appropriate outlet in the laundry room. We found Mahoney Electric on Angie's List, called, and answered our request ASAP, rewired some of the confusing wiring we had downstairs and put in place the appropriate electric outlet

I felt he was fair price wise. He was on time and pleasant. We would use him again for any electrical project that we would need.
Description of Work: He came to the series of condos we live at and he fixed the mailboxes that wouldn't close or lock. Also he fixed the intercom system that wouldn't work.

He went right to work when he arrived. He treated us with great respect. The actual price for the entire project was very competitive. We would highly recommend this company's services to any one.
Description of Work: We had them install a new electric exhaust fan in the ceiling of our main bathroom in our 5 bedroom, 2 1/2 bathroom home. The entire project took about 2 to 3 hours to complete.
