It was a pleasure doing business with Miller's Paving. Stan Miller (owner) came to my house on a Saturday morning and provided me a written estimate before he left. Stan gave me his cell number before leaving and said I could call him directly if I had any questions. Before choosing Miller's Paving I did call Stan with some additional questions. He was very pleasant and gave me straight forward answers. I had looked at another paving company (also on Angies list) but decided to go with Stan as I felt he was more knowledgable, beat the competitor's price by 11% and I liked the fact that I was dealing with the owner. We scheduled the job for the end of the month and Stan and his crew showed up on time and did a great job. They arrived at 8am and completed the job by 1pm. A crew of six all arrived at the same time, with various trucks of equipment and immediately got to work. You could tell the crew enjoyed working together and took pride in the job they were doing. Stan not only supervised the work, he operated most of the equipment and worked along side the crew from start to finish. The job went smoothly with only one unforeseen issue. Once the old paving was removed it was clear the underlying base was not gravel but sand and dirt. Stan had to remove the sand and dirt and replace it with additional gravel. I expected Stan might ask for additional payment but he never did. In fact, in order to address a troubled water area he had to build up the end of driveway with additional topcoat, he just took care of things. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Miller's Paving to a friend, neighbor or family member. It was a pleasure working with Miller's Paving throughout the whole process. It's encouraging to work with an outfit that takes pride in their work and is willing to go above and beyond to ensure quality service and product. The driveway was approximately 2250 square feet. By the way, after the job was quoted I mentioned that after talking with my neighbor I was wondering how much extra it would cost to pave a small area (about 35 sq feet) between our driveways. Stan said it shouldn't be a problem to take care of it and did so at no additional cost!

Service was phenomenal. They came and gave an estimate in plain language that made sense - more than a fair price. Dug down 12" and added in state grade gravel base, then two coats on top. Took out two stumps when others said to just grind them (would have buckled the driveway in a few years). On time, explained what was going on throughout the process - just an overall great experience.

We didn't make the first appointment to get an estimate but they came the next week. They came to pave on the day they said they would and finished in 1 day. The old pavement did not have a base. Millers put down a good thick base and a thick asphalt top. Beautifu! Very satisfied. They even had to deal with a town water pipe access that we did not notice during the initial estimate. They brought the pipe up level with the new coating. Very nice!

Stan Miller was very courteous, responsive, professional, prompt, and gave me a very competitive price. And the quality of the work was very impressive as well. This work was done last summer and my driveway looks just like new, even after the harsh winter we just had. I would use him again and recommend him to any homeowner looking for a new or replaced asphalt driveway.

Great, really liked the crew and thought that Stan (jr I believe) was super friendly, professional and went above and beyond helping me understand some drainage needs / questions I had.

I must have received at least 5 quotes for Driveways.. Miller's was the lowest bid. They came out exactly when they said they would, had a bunch of guys and trucks there, and got the driveway done in 1/2 a day.. Also expanded a second driveway that I had by about 4 feet for another few hundred dollars. Overall very satisfied, no issues, just got the job done.

They were excellent and did an excellent job. They did more than what they said; I could not have been happier. It was very well done all the way around. Their price was competitive; I got one other price with only $40.00 difference. They were extremely professional and they had excellent communication. They said they would be there at 8 o' clock in the morning on a certain day and they were there. They were done by 12:30 or 1:00 in the afternoon; they had plenty of man power and all the equipment including the trucks to haul the stuff, the equipment to dig it all up, the rollers to spread the asphalt; they got it done so quickly. The driveway is actually better than it was originally; it is nice and even. They did a good job of keeping the slope even and leveling it out across the driveway. It is slightly a little higher in the middle so that it drains well and there are no puddles. It could not be better. I could tell that they knew what they were doing. I would hire them again.

They did a very good job in the sealing and in most aspects of the job. I had hoped they would trim the grass on the sides of the driveway with a string trimmer, but they just used a blower to stand it up. Also, the estimator said the crack at the bottom of the driveway would be filled, but it appears to have been just cleared of the grass and had sealer applied. Would have liked to have been able to pay by credit card, but could not reach the office all morning, so had to give the applicator a check. Update: After having another service provider seal the driveway this year, I realized that the new provider did a much better job on clearing the grass on the sides of the driveway and in filling the cracks the cracks. So I re-thought the ratings for this provider.

The appointment was scheduled for Friday, 10/11/13. On that day at noon when no one had showed up yet, I emailed and then called to find out what time to expect them. I was told the person who they contract with to do the driveways never showed up for work either the day before or the day of our appointment. I was told that they could try and get someone out on Saturday but if not, they could do it on Monday (10/14/2013). On Monday, the guy arrived at around 1:00 PM. He putted around outside for a couple of hours - pacing back and forth and on his cell phone, then finally came to the door to say his torch was not working and he would need to go and get another one so he could fill in the cracks. He left and returned about an hour later and again seemed to be milling about and talking on his phone. He finally started the job around 4:00 and finished rather quickly. The results were good, but not as good as we had hoped. The customer service was disappointing. Why did they not call me to tell me about the problem with the worker on Friday? Why did I have to call them? And then when they did show up their equipment was faulty and that delayed the job even further.

Arrived promptly, explained in detail what was to happen, had more than enough crew, and an amazing amount of equipment. The staff was professional and friendly. They cleaned up after not only my properity but the street as well. you would never have known that they were there. They provided information on the care of the new driveway and made sure that were were happy with the results. I would highly recommend they to my neighbors.

My husband called Miller Paving and they were prompt in getting back to us, providing a quote and in doing the work. Their price was reasonable and they did a good job. We are happy with the work.

Stan was the low bidder of three, a pleasure to deal with, and delivered on everything promised. He and his crew arrived at the time scheduled and he had all the equipment necessary to complete the job. They said it would take one day to do the work and they finished by 5PM with everything completed and cleaned up. It was great being able to pay by credit card at the quoted price with no additional costs. His crew was professional and hard working. I would highly recommend Miller's Asphalt Paving.

Miller's came the day after I contacted them. They were quick, efficient and did excellent work. They put in our driveway the year before. I can't speak highly enough of this company. They deliver what they promise and there price is better than many of their competitors.

Miller paving not only put in a great driveway with care to see everything drains well, overcoming old driveway issues, they also helped me install cement footing for basketball hoop at no extra cost. The workers cleaned up after themselves and good price, Miller painting is very good paver for home driveways.

Stan Miller came to our house to give a free quote on paving my driveway, his quote in comparison to others was agreeable. We scheduled the job to be done and was completed by his team. All members of his team were professional and courteous. The driveway looks beautiful. I would recommend this company, they are a pleasure to work with, and they respond to calls promptly.

Miller arrived on the scheduled date and on time with a very experienced crew and equipment. From start to finish Miller's crew where professional and vary accommodating to changes I requested. Clean up after the installation was very good as well. Start to finish I was very happy with the total package. In my opinion the focus was on installing a quality driveway system which is the kind of contractor I look for.

It was done quickly and fine. There was no headache and they knew what they were doing. They were professional and I was pleased with their work. The price was reasonable, the quality was excellent, and I would use them again in the future.

They were very affordable and considerably lower than the others. They did everything in one day. They tore up the old driveway and put in a new one. It has been a couple of weeks and so far everything looks great. They promised they would be here in a certain time and do it in a certain way, and they did. I didn't have any problems with follow up.

I had spent about a month searching for the best company and price to do the two parts of my long driveway. Most companies could only do the tarmac part. Miller was my final call. The owner, Stan Miller, came out to my house immediately and gave me on the spot quotes to do both parts. I accepted the offer and work began the next day. All work was done in 5 days. Excellent workers and excellent service. About 8 months after the installation, I noticed that about 24 of the pavers, where my car passes into the garage, had sunk about 1/8 inch. After contacting Miller, the sub arrived on site and spent 2 hours resetting the depressed pavers to the proper height.

Excellent job done on both parts of the driveway project. My request for repairs to the original work took longer than I would have liked but in the end, everything was fixed to my complete satisfaction.

Millers Paving came on the day agreed; replaced the driveway and added the walks. The worked looked OK at first, so I paid. A few days later, however, my tenant remarked that the driveway seemed shorter and narrower than it had been. I then measured the new driveway and noticed that it was a foot narrower and at five feet shorter than the original. The new measurements are 38x19, the old were 43x20. I called the owner Avery Miller. He insisted that my measurements were wrong, but he agreed to come out and look. However, he never came. I tracked him down at another job, I showed him my measurements, my photo and told him of my tenant's statement. That's three pieces of written evidence as to the old dimensions. Again, he said he'd look, but he has not come. I've followed up with repeated calls and messages, but to no avail. I think this matter can easily be resolved, but no resolution is possible until Mr Miller follows up with me.
