Can't say enough about this company . They answer the phone, quote a fair price and show up on time . Our lawn looks great!

Excellent summary of what was wrong with the lawn and areas that needed improvement. Price was quite reasonable and dethatching and reseeding was done. Last 3 years now have been excellent with applications of weed and insect control. Very dependable, even reseeded some area that needed it. Highly recommend this local company!

I think it?s $54 per fertilizer treatment. I think their price is pretty good. They?re very responsive. We?re using them the whole year.

I had a deal that I would get a free lime application if I renewed my contract for the year (6 applications). They informed me via email they were coming out and there was a price on the email. I called them to inquire why there was a price and they stated that was the cost. I informed them of the deal I made and they stated that the salesmen that made the deal was no longer with them. I asked if they would honor the deal and they stated no. I told them that I was not interested and very disappointed that they would not honor the deal. they showed up anyway, I went outside and told them I was not paying for this service. If someone in your company makes a deal they should honor it, whether the salesman was still with them or not. I was a customer for at least 4 years.

Grass looked terrible the year we went with Gatsby. I didn't get the sense that they were applying fertilizer as scheduled in the program and they didn't do much to correct their subpar work.

This company performed reseeding work on our lawn but several weeks went by with little new lawn growth in bare patches. I called the company all spring and left seven messages over three months' time. The receptionist would add my message to a "call log" and offer excuses as to why I was getting no response or follow up. I heard all of the following from this office person without the benefit of speaking with the service people or owner: they were too busy all spring and I needed to be patient; my well may not be producing enough water to irrigate the lawn (how would she know?), or perhaps I paid another company to spread weed-killer on the lawn to deter new grass growth (only starter fertilizer was actually applied). Finally it was suggested that since I did not subscribe to their own monthly lawn treatments that there was no warranty for services performed. Never was such a service offered or required. When I visited the business twice in person asking for my money back, the owner finally returned my call. He said the crew would be out to service the lawn again however I am seeing no results for that service which was promised. Meanwhile I planted grass in my back yard myself and after a few days am seeing new growth. Secondly, I ordered another larger ($2500+) project from Gatsby around the same time as the first. I discussed the details at length with the owner but he never followed up with a quote or returned my messages. Again, after several weeks' delay I gave up on Gatsby and found a much more reliable company to do the work. Sadly all of this turned out to be quite a waste of time and money.

I requested that someone provide a quote for some landscaping work and the came out a few days later and provided a quote. I agreed to move forward with the company and he told me that someone would call me that week to schedule the work, and the never called. 2 weeks passed without any contact so I contacted them and the person answering the phone told me that the owner would call himself to schedule the work. 2 additional weeks passed and I still had not heard back, so I called again and requested that someone contact me, and its been another 2 weeks and I have not heard back anything.
