The job took 4 days. Workers were on time, worked hard, extremely considerate, professional, caring. Went the extra mile in every respect. They are the best. Have already recommended them to a friend.

The service technician was very prompt and very neat about keeping the floor areas protected. It took about 5-6 hours for the whole job, but well worth it! I can't say enough how pleased I was at the whole experience from start to finish! I wish all of the contractors and service technicians that I've hired in the past were as competent!!

I called for an estimate on Thursday, March 14th. I spoke with Joe, the owner, and told him he was referenced to me by a local HVAC repairman. I also mentioned I was an Angie's List member and had checked his company's reviews online. I answered a few simple questions and was given a quote right over the phone. I asked to schedule service and I was able to get next day service due to a cancelation. The next morning, the technician, Lester, phoned me during the time slot he was due to arrive to inform me he needed to make a stop to pick up a filter for my air handling unit and he would be about 15 minutes later than expected. That was fine with me and he arrived on time, given the extra errand. Lester was very courteous, knowledgeable and safety conscious. The condominium he would be working in was in the back of the complex and he needed to run his equipment hoses in such a way as to not endanger any residents that would be passing by. He took the time necessary to figure out the proper way to do this and I was confident I had a good man on the job. Once he was set up to begin work, he surveyed the system, explained how it would be cleaned and then proceeded with his work. If I had questions, he was happy to answer them. I learned quite a bit that day. I found him to be very knowledgeable with his work and friendly enough to share his knowledge. He did his job in an organized, efficient manner yet took the time to be sure each step was completed and done well. I really appreciated his work ethic. At the end of the day, I felt very confident in the work he had performed and I knew it was done properly. Lester is a workman that can be trusted and counted upon to do his best. Joe should be proud knowing his company is well represented.

Lester came to perform the work and we were pleased with his work. He arrived on time and was friendly. He wore protective booties on his shoes to protect the floors as well as ran runners throughout the house, he explained the work he would be doing and about how long it would take. He also explained the vent system to me, showed me how to replace the vent filter and what kind he recommends using. He assessed the system, checked for mold and mildew, and cleaned 21 registers. He showed me the dirt and debris from the vents once cleaned and showed me where he drilled access holes to access the system. He cleaned up his workspace around the registers after cleaning them, and explained what if any cleaning agents he was using so I was comfortable with the safety of them. Their fees were very reasonable and they were easy to schedule an appointment with. I would recommend Dust Busters.

All went very smoothly. Both technicians were helpful, responsive, and friendly. They appeared to know their jobs very well.

Workman arrived on time, explained in detail exactly what he was going to do and what tools he would be using. He kept me posted on progress as the work proceeded. He was well informed and performed his work thoroughly. At the end of the project, he cleaned up everywhere in the house meticulously. I was very pleased with the experience and would use the same service provider again.

The DustBusters staff was friendly on the phone and worked with me to make an appointment. The man who arrived to do the cleaning was friendly and prompt. He explained the process and showed me where he would be working. He also offered me an additional mold treatment service, but I couldn't afford it. I did have to leave for work, which made me nervous. I wouldn't be available to see the work or to gauge the time spent on the job. When I arrived at home after work, I checked the visible system (vents and plugs in the ducts). It was clear that the staff had opened the various locations and cleaned. I did find a couple of the duct plugs on the floor in the basement, but I assumed that was just normal from being taken out and then put back in. I solidly pushed them in. As I said, it was difficult to assess the work. I don't think the company made any mistakes, I just didn't get a sense of well-being from the job. That feeling might just come from the fact I didn't see the work being done. I also didn't do any bids--I took the recommendation of a neighbor. The neighbor really loves this company, so I trusted their recommendation. But I always feel more comfortable if I get some bids and meet the contractors first. This price felt very expensive for the job. I would recommend that someone stay in the house and gauge the time and effort.

I was satisfied with the results. I don't know if the ducts had ever been cleaned by a previous owner, but I know not in the last 25 years.The year men who did the job stuck with it and put in a good's day work.

Lester showed up right on time and was very personable and professional. I had just purchased this duplex--it is 112 years old and I had a number of questions about the heating system. We walked through the two units together and he answered all my questions. I needed to get to work, so we agreed upon a time for me to come back and give him a check (they would have taken a credit card over the phone I think, but I wanted to chat with him before he finished). I left for work and when I came back he was almost done and had not encountered any unanticipated problems. We settled up and I left again--he left me a voicemail when he was done and had locked up when he left. I will definitely have Dustbusters back when it is time to clean the air ducts again.

Did a good job, but it was very expensive and I am not sure I really needed it or it was worth it...

Technician arrived on scheduled time, introduced himself, and asked to see how many vents were to be cleaned. Before he began he gave me an estimate for the job. He did an excellent job and did not rush. He put padding on the hardwood floors on the areas he would walk. My vents are the older felt-lined type and he was careful not to rip the lining. After completing the job in the basement, he vacuumed the work area and even the basement steps! Not only did he do a great job, he offered suggestions and advice. I am quite pleased with Dustbusters and recommend them highly.

My overall experience with them was excellent.

Dustbusters was at my house all day today cleaning 23 vents. They arrived on time and described to me exactly what they were going to do. They kept me informed throughout the day as to their progress. They used a large vacuum in the basement to suck out the dirt, and a high pressure rubber beater going down each duct from the top.They were respectful of my furnishings and cleaned up very nicely afterward. They were even able to clean the first floor ducts from below so that we didn't have to remove the old painted-in covers. Dustbusters was extremely responsive when I first called them to tell them about a bad smell in one of our ducts. They came over the same day and spot-cleaned the problem duct. Then they came a few weeks later to finish the rest of the ducts.

The serviceman was polite, professional, and efficient. Everything went well.

They did an excellent job and I will hire them back next year.

Lester showed up at 8am on time and explained the whole process of what he planned to do including the duct cleaning and the air conditioning coils cleaning. He spent several hours taking everything apart, making a few needed holes, and removing the dirt from the duct work. He had special filtration equipment so that everything that was sucked out went into a Hepa filter. There was no sign of dust in the basement or house while he worked. He sprayed some cleaner on the air conditioning unit outside and dirty foam got rinsed off later. The inside coil was also cleaned before he left and my air conditioning is older and really needed a thorough ckeck up. Dave came later in the day after Lester left and started by tuning up the air condtioning using different gauges and told me that many air conditioning units don't always have enough fluid in the system to do the job right and he could top me off if need be. I think that I was just somewhat low and Dave also pointed out that my AC unit outside was not level and how I could fix that. National Grid payed for about half of the cost of the AC tune up, and 100% of the motor upgrade which Dave suggested using half the electricity for operating the air hadler. He got a reading of 4 initially and later a 2 on the new equipment which I don't know the units the numbers are in but it makes sense by what he explained. Overall I was very impressed with the service and would recommend anyone getting their duct work cleaned out and seeing what they may have available for their heating/cooling equipment. I had a cigarette smell and after I cleaned the ducts I can no longer smell it anywhere in the house. Since I purchased the home I have been trying to eliminate this odor and this was it's final hiding place after I cleaned every other possible source of the smell. Lester and Dave did excellent work and I was very comfortable with them working in my home, Joe set great expectations and also explained any potential things that might not work since all systems are different he didn't want to over promise anything. I turned out eligible for the free motor upgrade and feel like I am going to save money on my electric bill for heating and cooling.

.They are local and that stood out to me. I have only used them 3 times. They prices are alittle high. I would use them again.

Lester and his assistant arrived on time, we did a walk through of the home, I pointed out all of the vents and the seperate heating systems in the property and he was able to give me an exact price as to how much it would cost. It took a whole day to clean the vents, but along the way Lester shared tips on what to do when remodeling to keep your vents clean, he also explained how the systems worked, the filter etc. When he was done he showed us what had built up in our vents over the years and we were glad we had called. This is a great service for people with allergies, and a great company to turn to to have it done. Lester was very knowledgable about his work, very professional and the owner (with whom I scheduled the appointment) was very kind and professional.

Lester was pleasant to have around, but serious about his work. He explained the process ahead of time and reviewed the results as well. Very professional.

Initial estimate by phone was quite accurate. Joe explained that they could either clean lint from the flexible foil vent or replace it with rigid aluminum. He estimated the difference in pricing and gave the pros and cons. He also offered to put a guard over the vent where it leaves the house to keep out rodents. The workman arrived promptly as scheduled and helped us figure out the best solution, which included moving our dryer closer to the venting-out location. He was professional and helpful and did the work in the estimated amount of time. The outside guard didn't seem like it would keep out mice, which was our main concern, and it's more like a bird-guard, but we decided to have him put it on anyway. There was a slight misunderstanding about the bill -- regarding travel time -- and this was handled in an entirely satisfactory way by both the workman and by Joe.

Lester the tech showed up on time, explained what he was doing and did his work effectivly. He provided extra feedback that I have one returrn in the house. This is good to no the source of the dust in house. He was done 2/3 of day and was very professional and friendly.
